86,000 planes by the end of the war. Ford also produced tanks, jeeps, armored cars, and engines for
robot bombs (McGill). Even though Ford was against the wars and wanted them to stop, he still
wanted to help the war effort by building these weapons and machines for the United States as well as
the Allies. Wanting his company to stay on top and be the best, Henry Ford made some adjustments,
but what he did with his employees was unlike what anyone else had

The Period Of World War II Essay
The period from World War II till the present has been widely regarded as a period of an immense
amount of social progress. The years following saw vast acceptance of people of various tenets of
faith and colors of skin. One can argue that for a period of time America post WWII, there was
growing amount of acceptance amongst the population, especially with the election of the first
Catholic President, John F. Kennedy. The sentiment of allowing other people continued as quotas of
allowing people from other countries diminished with the Immigration and Nationality Services Act of
1965 opened up availabilities for Hindus and Muslims to enter the country. With the existing

Sigmund Freud s Theory Of Psychosexual Stages
Sigmund Freud was born in Frieberg, Moravia in 1856. His father was known to be a merchant in the
regon. Freud s family moved to Leipzig and then decided to settle down in Vienna, this is where Freud
started his schooling. In 1873 Sigmund Freud was enrolled in the University of Vienna and decided on
medicine as his major for study. Freud graduated college in the year 1881. After Freud graduated
college he started working at the Vienna General Hospital, he work there for a number of years. After
working at the hospital for a time he moved to Paris France and started working for Jean Charcot to
help get more insite on neurology. After studying with Jean Charcot for about one year he returned to
Vienna. Once he had gotten settled he decided to start his own practice in Vienna which he would
work with people whom had brain disorders and nervous system problems. The same year the Freud
setup his private practice he married Martha Bernays and within a few years they had six children
together. Freud dabbled in the art of hipnossis for a while but over the time of him studying it he come
to find out that the effects did nt last long enough to persue it further. In the year 1905 Freud
introduced the Theory of Psychosexual Stages. Freud sought to understand the nature and variety of

The beginning of the Pell Grant started in 1965 when congress passed the Higher Education Act of
1965. This was a policy implement created by Lyndon Johnson to not only help the education crisis in
America but also to help the majority of poor minority students in America s education system. The
act allowed for not only loan interest loans but also grants to many eligible young adults. Universities
and other institutions benefited through this the most. In 1972, an addition was added to the act called
Title IX Higher Education Amendments these were to settle issues and the need for distribution of aid
in the current grant. Throughout the 70s multiple provisions and additions were added to these group
of bills to not only increase funding but also how they should be accessed. These came though a
process called reauthorization, which allowed congress to examine each and every program and the
ability to change it the way they see fit. In 1994, Congress then passed another addition called the
Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act or VCCLEA, this was a provision that revoked Pell
Grant funding to any individual who is incarcerated in any federal or state penal institution. This

Events in American history are often distorted and misunderstood, which lead people to wonder about
the justness of the international confrontation. The American public is one of the major driving forces
during war times and without their support, the tide of the war can change drastically. Sidney Lumet
directed the movie Fail Safe, which has multiple instances where a verdict to act, despite the prewar
conditions, was hard to delineate between a just and unjust judgement. Of all the instances in the
movie, the decisions made compelled the viewer to question the ideas the political leaders were

Lord Of The Flies Critical Analysis
The novel, Lord of the Flies, was written by William Golding in 1954. The novel tells the story of
what a horrible and disturbing world looks like when things go wrong. Sigmund Freud was a
psychologist that studied how humans minds work and our controlled by basic impulses in the
unconscious brain called the Id, Superego, and the Ego (CommonLit Staff). In the book, Jack
represents the Id, Ralph represents Ego, and Piggy is the Superego. The most basic and oldest brain
part is the Id. Freud believed that the Id was the location of our pleasure principle. This is the area that
tells us to seek instant gratification from the things we do (CommonLit Staff). It doesn t know things
like right or wrong and justs acts like an animal doing whatever it wants and whenever it wants. The
boy named Jack is the Id part of the brain. One example is when Jack decides to leave his job doing
the fire to go hunting with the hunting party. Jack, obsessed with the idea of killing a pig, camouflages

the beach, Ralph and Piggy see a ship on the horizon but they also see that the signal fire has gone out

Literary Techniques Used in November Cotton Flower by Jean...
Slavery in the south was brutal as anybody could imagine an idea expressed by Jean Toomer through
his poem called November Cotton Flower . The poem is fourteen lines of rhyming verse describing
the harsh, sudden and questionable bloom of a cotton flower in the month of November. It is
composed of heroic couplets, with a regular rhyme scheme, which is as follows: A, A, B, B, C, C, D,
D, E, E, F, G, H, H, but the poem reads like Shakespearian sonnet three quatrains developing a certain
tone and theme, followed by a couplet that undercuts or reverses them. In the beginning it portrays the
scuffle for survival of cotton flower during November s harsh winter weather; but towards the end, it
describes the sudden bloom of it. The author goes in depth with most of the descriptions to give a
reader a clear and strong mental image. The poem describes the weather and its effect on cotton flower
by pointing out the dying branches and vanishing cotton. The image of insufficiency, struggle and
death parallel the oppression of African American race. The beginning of the poem illustrates the
struggle and suffering of the cotton flower; which represent the misery of African Americans and also
gives an idea that there is no hope for them. But at the end the speaker says brown eyes that loves
without a trace of fear/ Beauty so sudden for that time of year (lines 13 14). This shows the rise of the
