Father Diego Dur An Advocate For The Aztecs Of The Aztec...
Father Diego DurĂĄn was a Dominican priest in Mexico after the Spanish conquest of the Aztec
Empire. He was born in Selville, Spain in 1537 but moved to New Spain as a child. He originally
lived in Texcoco but eventually moved to Mexico City and became a priest in 1556. He became fluent
in the native language Nahuatl and gained the inhabitants trust with his understanding nature and
respect for their culture. He used his experiences and access to first hand knowledge to write three
books, The Ancient Calendar, The History of the Indies of New Spain, and The Book of Gods and
Rites, collectively known as the DurĂĄn Codex.
DurĂĄn was an advocate for the Aztecs living in New Spain, but he was still a Catholic priest who saw
everything he did through the lense of potential conversion. During his extensive study of the local
culture he came to see the parallels between his faith and indigenous religion as evidence of
Abrahamic religion having been brought to the New World and corrupted by the Devil. The only way,
according to DurĂĄn, to truly root out the satanic practices of the Mesoamerican religions was to
understand them. He wrote the DurĂĄn Codex to both help that missionary work and satisfy his own
curiosity.
The Book of Gods and Rites was written from 1574 to 1576. Fifty years before that, Hernan Cortez
had taken over the Aztec Empire and toppled it s capital city Tenochtitlan. After the Spanish took over
most of South and Mesoamerica, the remaining people who hadn t been

The Sexual Revolution
Sexual intercourse (n): sexual contact between individuals involving penetration.
Throughout the years, social norms in the United States changed drastically. Some people may blame
the Sexual Revolution for those causes. The Sexual Revolution, also known as the Sexual Liberation
was a social movement that provoked drastic change in traditional behavior related to sexuality and
relationships. Before The Sexual Revolution even occurred, people were considered very closed
minded and unaware of the possibilities. The traditional norm during this era was establishing sexual
intercourse strictly for after marriage. Going against that norm was seen as both shameful and riskful.
Not only that, but sexual intercourse was also strictly enforced to be between heterosexual pairs. The
LGBT community was both unknown and unheard of during this time period. Aside from people s
sexual attractions, Women s rights was not a very big topic spoken about at the time, as well. Women
were also under very strict norms, in which they were spoken down to, had limited rights and were
silenced in every way possible.
During the 1960s, groups of people who were part of the LGBT community, or as it was known back
then the gay community , began identifying themselves as so, very openly. Both gay men and lesbians
took direct action in their homes and went against the shame that their community was known to go
under. For as long as anyone can recall, the LGBT community was never exactly accepted by all.

I had to investigate the effect of the mutation on the plants and then determine the type of inheritance
pattern shown in each case. By following in the footsteps of the Father of Genetics Gregor Johann
Mendel ; I ve attempted to achieve recreating (on a much smaller scale) one of his inheritance
experiments conducted in 1856 1863. This particular experiment led him to create the Law of
Segregation and the Law of Independent Assortment, which later became known as Mendel s Laws of
Inheritance. By following the Second Law created by Mendel (Independent Assortment) it was
possible to hypothesise that the growth rate of both peas and barley were manipulated by the
phenotype and genotype of each individual plant, chlorophyll absorption within each plant and how
had the inheritance pattern affected the overall biological mass/growth rate of the collective.
Essentially the phenotype Green has a higher probability to grow into adulthood without complication
due to the Chlorophyll s ability to absorb more light (to photosynthesise and grow) as opposed to the
white or yellow phenotypes which absorb less light due to the colour pigmentation within their leaves.
The inheritance pattern of both peas and barely contributes to the genotypes and phenotypes present
within the plants. Theoretically had all barley and pea plants of a Green Phenotype and the GxG
Genotype (G: Green) been bred as a species, all of

Analysis Of The Fire Next Time By James Baldwin
In the United States, all citizens are entitled to a freedom of choice, under which they may choose
their beliefs and ideals. Unfortunately, with this freedom , people lose their sense of truth and reality,
and must rely upon the ideals of times past and present to ground themselves in this world. The Fire
Next Time, written by James Baldwin, examines this issue in Down At The
Cross , an account of the author s experience with founding his reality on religion and with his
continuing struggles with race and society. In this religious record, Baldwin discusses how he finds a
home in religion and how he spends the majority of his life in his religious career, both of which offer
a sense of safety for his lost soul. Consequently, he then describes his mistake for trusting religion to
act as his foundation as he then learns the stupefying truth of his God s negligence, how his God takes
no action to save Baldwin s people from the depths of society.
Therefore, in order to prevent the reader from resorting to the same alternative, Baldwin intends to
persuade the reader to not base their reality upon the beliefs of others or of a denomination, but solely
upon the facts of life which stand before them. He hopes to discourage the reader by informing of the
horror and the harrowing pain he experiences with having his world shaken to the foundation.
Baldwin achieves this by accentuating the shock of his realization about religion and his God,
showing the reader how this affects him as a means of persuasion.
Perrott !2
In order for Baldwin to convince the reader (to not base their reality in the beliefs of others) (is this
necessary to keep?), he elaborates upon the lurid realizations of his God and of his faith, which
changes his and the reader s perception of religion for the remainder of the book.
Since these feelings are particularly strong for Baldwin, he mirrors his experience with strong
emotional language to bring life into the story and accentuate the importance of the event, which
grasps the reader s attention as well as their interest. Baldwin exemplifies this strategy when he
illustrates the severity of his emotions at the realization of his God s negligence. Baldwin describes his
agony:

Building Ventilation Systems
Ventilations Systems Introduction Millions of Americans work in buildings with mechanical heating,
ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems which have been designed to provide air at
comfortable levels of temperature and humidity. Most never worry about harmful concentrations of air
pollutants that may exist in the air they breathe. While heating and cooling are basic operations, the
more complex processes involved in ventilation are paramount in ensuring high quality indoor air.
Ventilation is much more than air flowing throughout a building. Most ventilation systems introduce
outdoor air, condition it by mingling it with portions of indoor air and then distributing the resulting
combined air throughout the building, usually dispelling small portion outside of the building
structure. If any part of the process is inadequate or faulty, the quality of indoor air may be
jeopardized and can result in harmful toxins or pollutants circulating in enclosed spaces where they
can pose health risks. Ventilation, either natural or mechanical, is an effective approach to providing
acceptable indoor air. General ventilation of a building is needed to satisfy the respiratory needs of its
occupants and to remove any body odors and tobacco smoke, should smoking be permitted. On a
more serious level, systems that are improperly operated or maintained have been known to contribute
to sick building syndrome (SBS); SBS has physical symptoms without clearly recognizable causes.

A Brief Note On Peer And Peer ( P2p )
Peer to peer (P2P) networking is a network of computers that have the capability of being either a
client or a server. Furthermore, P2P is the use of your own personal computer for the purpose of more
than just basic client only tasks. Peers on a network are able to share resources, storage space, and
processing power directly available to others hosts on the network without the need of a centralized
communications model like the client/server model. Each user of the network is both a supplier and a
consumer of the resources provided on the network. Because peers are not connected to a central
server it removes the risk of losing data through a central server crash.
One of the most widely known forms of Peer to Peer networking is simply instant messaging. This is
P2P in its simplest form. AOL, Facebook, MSN, are all examples of software that uses Peer to Peer
networking in order to allow users to message one another in real time. The goal of P2P is to make
things faster and safer, so it makes sense that many companies have moved to implementing instant
messaging as a standard of communication.
Another use of Peer to Peer networking is for illegal purposes. Many of us have heard of the widely
famous software Napster. It was originally known as the pioneer behind peer to peer file sharing.
Napster was commonly used for the purpose free music downloading. Users from all around would
come and upload free music, but the problem with this was copyright infringement. Many

Christian Life And The Teachings Of The Bible
I have been participating in the Korean language class on Monday and Wednesday from August 10 to
now. Last Sunday, I participated in the 1st annual golden harvest 5k marathon. First, I d like to discuss
the spiritual concepts/values from text that relate to personal beliefs. I am a Christian since birth. So
all I d like to talk about is Christian life and the teachings of the bible. Throughout my whole life, I
have learned about spiritual things and what kind of spiritual things are in my ego. The spiritual values
that I always have is love, hope, and trust. Love is an element that Christians value and have in their
Christian mind and the bible says to love each other. I am doing my best to understand this word
throughout my whole life and it is the reason why I chose my major Nursing. The dictionary meaning
of love is an intense feeling of deep affection or feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone.
The bible states that Christian love is selfless and a giving love. I realized something when I went to
Africa for doing some volunteer work. I felt what it meant to be selfless and what it was to give love
through volunteering and now I keep this in mind through my life too. The second value is hope. All
of religion is based on hope, just like forgiveness, and going to heaven and waiting for God to give
them something that they want. But in the bible it says, set your hope fully on the grace that will be
brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ (Peter

A Report On Google s Driverless Car
Google s driverless car; are they the future, technologies most recent trumpet, world s next thing or the
latest catastrophe, next failure, biggest let down yet? Google has produce multiple products over the
years that were successful and some that lack success. The latest product their trying to liftoff is the
Google Car. A driverless car that can rely on their sensors and software to drive themselves. The idea
of a car that drives without a driver is by far interesting, but is it good to have a person life in the
hands of a machine. Some people thinks this plan is a dead end: Ian Pearson, a futurologist, says What
Google is proposing is obsolete, Pearson, who is also a fellow at the World Academy for Arts and
Science, said. It doesn t exist yet, but there isn t any point in going through that phase. There are two
Italian researchers are looking to release self driving pods. The pods, called Next, they re driverless
boxes that will take you anywhere. But even the Next pods fall short of what Pearson foresees. For
one, Next is a public transportation system that is controlled by a third party. The pods will pick you
up after you request one through an app. (Muoio) So, there other things that are similar to driverless
car that are surfacing around the world. Not just driverless cars; but the concept that a computer
having to make so many complex choices is unsettling to some people. There are obstacles that these
mindful machines have to overcome to gain majority of

Freezing Point Depression Lab
The purpose of this lab was to determine the molecular mass of a compound by measuring the
freezing point depression. Freezing point depression is one concept discussed within this experiment,
additionally, in class too. Freezing point depression is a colligative property, which refers to one that
depends on the number of particles in a given volume of solvent, rather than on the chemical nature of
the particles. Another concept applied to this experiment is the cooling curves, which for a pure
solution does not plateau when the phase change occur, rather the rate at which the temperature
decreases becomes slower. The cooling curve for the pure solvent, on the other hand, has a plateau
because there is no solute within it that affects the temperature. ... Show more content on

plateau, but continues to decrease slowly as the solution freezes. The freezing point of the solution is
determined at the intersection of two straight lines through the data points above and below the

Relationship Between Mass And Acceleration
Hypothesis:
In the world of force, when Physicists are talking about apply forces, the relationship between mass
and acceleration has been attractive for long. Although Sir Isaac Newton has already solved this
problem centuries ago, it is still crucial to perform an experiment to prove this relationship to enhance
one s understanding in force. In order to pursue accuracy and objection in the lab, one assumes that he
has no knowledge about Newton s Second Law. Begins from daily life, it is a common phenomena
that an object needs more people to push to make a move. Based on this observation, one supposes
that there is a relationship exists between the mass of an object and the acceleration of it. To be more

Westworld. A luxury theme park set in the wild west where freedom and discretion are offered to
paying customers. Those who have excessive wealth pay a hefty sum to interact with filled with
humanoid like artificial intelligence and do whatever they please with no consequences. The hosts are
highly intelligent 3D printed robots that have high functioning brain capacity that have been created
with a sole purpose as entertainment of the customers. AI s are trained to react with human
mannerisms, and are even allowed to improvise conversations and actions based upon the interactions
with the newcomers. Their personalities are formed meticulously; programmed with extensive
background information so that AI s understand their purpose for given scenarios. To the layperson, it
would be almost impossible to tell the difference between an AI and a human given their distinct
modeling of humankind. Given the park s realistic nature constructed based upon the real world the
resemblance allows for a proximity to reality, but at the same time embodies this distance necessary to
understanding the nature of human life. The hybridity of proximity, distance and technology, key
factors to unlocking sentience and hubris, making Westworld an incubator for the development and
realization of self for both the artificial humanoids and humans themselves.

The Comprehensive Security Policy In The Trojan War
Comprehensive Security Policy
Introduction
A company that experiences a social engineering attack to create or reevaluate its security plan in
respect to its email, acceptable use, physical security and incident response plan. Social engineering
attacks have been around forever across many different cultures and platforms. The first major social
engineering attack happened during the mythological Trojan War. The Greek after a ten year
unsuccessful siege of Troy appeared to leave, and leave behind a huge wooden statue of a horse as a
parting gift. The Trojans wheeled in the horse through the gates and proceeded to celebrate their
victory not aware that the horse contained Greek soldiers. The soldiers late at night crept out of the ...

Water holing is an attack using malware which allows the attacker to observe websites often visited by
a victim and infects those sites with malware. Attacks using whaling the goal of whaling is to trick
someone into disclosing organizational or personal information through social engineering, email
spoofing and content spoofing efforts. Whaling is typically directed towards the powerful, wealthy
and prominent individuals. Pretexting is an attack that the attacker presents their self as someone else
in order to obtain private information or data. Attacks using pretexting try to manipulate victims into
performing an action that allows an attacker to discover and exploit a weakness inside an organization.
Finally, attackers use baiting which is a technique to exploits the victim s natural curiosity. Baiting
relies on the curiosity or greed of the victim and is very similar to phishing attacks. Prevention and

Ethics In Call Of Duty
War is unforgiveable. Even to the novices and the arm chair commanders whose combat experience
does not extend past Call of Duty , it is clear that choosing one path over another can mean the
difference between life and death for oneself and one s unit. Sometimes there is no right decision, and
yet in others our own prejudices, fears, and emotions get in the way of the right decision. While the
former is often the well known reality of life that is seldom overcome, the latter leads people to make
the wrong decision when the right one is clear. The same can be said of the unit from the Academy
Award winning 1986 film Platoon that fell victim to their own prejudices, fears, and emotions,
eventually committing a number of war crimes before the film was through.
Despite the fictional nature of the film, Chris Taylor, played by Charlie Sheen, and the rest of the
soldiers in his platoon are forced to face not only their own ill advised actions, but whether or not to
report the illegal killing of a Vietnamese civilian. After Sergeant Elias, one of the platoon s squad
leaders, reports the killing, he is killed in action under suspicious circumstances after coming face to

Examples Of Storm In A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings
In Marquez s short story A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings, a storm is evidently passing through.
Pelayo, Elisenda and their family seem to live near an ocean being that crabs have flooded their yard.
Their child was sick which they presumed was due to the stench of the thousands of crabs present.
Pelayo went to clean up the crab catastrophe only to discover a winged, not so angelic looking man
lying face down in the dirt. He begins to believe that the man is an angel who was coming to take his
child as if the child was going to pass away, but the angel never quite made it to them. The man did
not move so they moved him themselves placing him in their chicken coop. Word traveled quickly
about this strange creature being on their property and people began coming from everywhere to
check him out for themselves. The local priest decided the man could not be an angel because he didn
t have that angelic appearance, but rather that of a person who had been sleeping out on the streets.
However, everyone still perceived the man as an angel when truthfully, he was just a dirty man with
wings residing in a coop. People began coming to him from far and wide seeking out advice. There
was such a large turn out that Elisenda began charging people to see him and obtained enough funding
to allow both of them to stop working and buy property. However, the old man eventually gains the
strength it takes for him to fly away. Connections This story connects to the real world through

Deng Xiaoping s Economic Reform in China Essay
The goals of Deng Xiaoping s economic reform were the Four Modernizations . This Four
Modernization refers to the reform of agriculture, industry, national defense, and science technology.
These reforms were to solve the problems of motivating workers and farmers to produce a larger
surplus and to eliminate economic imbalances that were common in command economies.
Deng Xiaoping felt that the quickest way to build a better China was to improve living conditions

Foreign investors were allowed to do the same. They built factories and used cheap Chinese labors to
produce goods for export. Deng had set up a successfully solution that lowered the rate of
unemployment Chinese and to improve the industrial market. These new factories and workshops not
only provided a lot of jobs for unemployed Chinese, but also to have modern machines that was
brought in by the foreign investors and Chinese workers had opportunities to be trained to use it
(Moise, 217).
Feeling this was not enough to boost the economic up, Deng loaned money from IMF and the World
Bank to upgrade machinery and establish new manufacturing and industrial development (Benson,
48). He opened a total of five towns and villages as SEZs and allowed foreign investors to build
factories and hire Chinese to work for them. It might not be the best way to reform the economic as a
whole, but it played an important role because it benefited the Chinese workers, the investors, and the
Chinese government. During the 1980s, Deng promoted the open door policy to encourage foreign
investment and to trade with the world. China needed larger quantities of raw materials to fuel its
industrial growth so they signed contracts for minerals, timer, and so forth. It had not only provided
China with raw materials that were needed, but also improved the relations with other neighbor
counties and the US.

For this to function smoothly on mobile requires some huge infrastructure. I haven t seen a hiccup yet
in my battles against real players. It has a slight loading time at the beginning or end of a match.
You have a slate of characters that you can drop onto the field, and they start moving slowly toward
the enemy s defenses, which consist of two forts and a main castle. It has two lanes for combat, in
contrast to five for typical MOBA games. The options for playable cards show up in the bottom of the
screen. You get a choice of four. A mana meter runs along the bottom. If you have enough mana to
play a card, it shows up in colors. If you don t have enough, a timer that runs in real time shows you
when it will be ready. When you are ready to play a card, you just press down on it and move it to the
right part of the screen where you want it to appear. That s all you are required to do. That makes the
gameplay repetitive and simple. You just have to think fast.
Clash Royale has just a few dozen cards at the moment, but most of them are easily recognizable as
characters from Clash of Clans. If you drop down a giant, it will lumber toward the enemy s fort at a
slow pace. Once it gets there, it can do a lot of pounding. Your fort can fire back, but you have to drop

Examples Of Dystopian Society In Fahrenheit 451
The perfect Utopian society is when everyone is equal. But is everyone truly equal? In the book
Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury, shows how quickly a society can go from Utopia to Dystopia. The
novel states how families are truly disconnected and how the society shows and hides their feelings. Is
our society like this? First of all in the book Fahrenheit 451, families aren t always there for each other
and seem to be disconnected. For example, Go home and think of your first husband divorced and
your second husband killed in a jet and your third husband blowing his brains out, ... dozen abortions
you ve had, ... and your children who hate your guts! ... think how it all happened and what did you

Reflective Conflict
Conflicts are present in our everyday lives, some big and some small. The degree to which they
impact our relationships largely depends on who is involved and what each party s expectations are.
Conflicts can either go onto a constructive or destructive path depending on how the parties involved
handle the given situation or problem. I am currently experiencing a destructive conflict with two of
my roommates and that is what I will be focusing on for this critical analysis paper. Folger, Poole, and
Stutman (2013), define conflict as, the interaction of interdependent people who perceive
incompatibility and the possibility of inference from others as a result of this incompatibility (p. 4).
Using this definition, I will break down my current conflict in order to describe and analyze it using a
variety of concepts and theories. I live in a suite on campus with four other people which consists of
myself, my friend whom I have known since freshman year, her boyfriend, and two other girls who we
did not know prior to moving in. Within a few weeks of being here, my friend blew something very
minor that happened with one of the other girls out of proportion. Threatening text messages were sent
which led to loud, in person arguments. These instances led to a meeting with our RA, and later, a
meeting with the Hall Director and the RA because things escalated and got out of hand. More
problems have arisen, but this time between my friend, her boyfriend, and myself. A few

The Effects Of Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation ( Nmes...
The impact of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) on markers of recovery following
intensive, muscle damaging training
Introduction
For many sports with congested fixtures recovery between games is very important to ensure players
are at their best for the matches. An example of a period where this is particularly true is the Christmas
period with football with most teams facing a high number of games in a short period, sometimes only
2 days between games. Without proper recovery modalities players, can suffer from delayed onset
muscle soreness (DOMS) and from a study by Cheung, Hume Maxwell (2003) it was found that
DOMS reduces athletic performance due to the muscle soreness and the damage done to the muscle
and caused a decrease in strength and power, with a greater effect on strength and power during
eccentric contractions. A study by Byrne, Twist and Eston (2004) discussed the muscle damage caused
by high force eccentric exercise. They found that the stretch shortening cycle(SSC) what occurs
during a drop jump, causes muscle damage in the muscle and therefore contributes to DOMS and is
similar to the damage done by running.
The appearance of Creatine Kinase in the blood following exercise has been used as an indirect
measure of muscle damage and a study by Clarkson Hubal (2002) looked into various different
markers of muscle damage in the blood and CK was investigated compared to other blood markers
they found CK increase much more relative to other

for individuals groups to broadcast. Online networking systems have made a wonder on the web that
has earn demand over last ten years. Individuals use online networking sites, for example, Twitter,
Myspace and Facebook to make and support connections with others (Boyd Ellison, 2007). These
social networking sites let the individuals who utilize them make individual profiles, while interfacing
with different clients of the social sites. End user can transfer photos, post their activity at that instant
send open or individual messages to the person of their choice. In this intelligence age, online
networking sites appear to be developing in demand quickly, particularly among young generation. .
Most important modifications linked to social networking is increment of online media sites, for
example, MySpace, Facebook, Cyworld, Google Plus and LinkedIn. (Pempek, Yermolayeva, Calvert,

Photography Is The Human Experience
It is truly amazing to see how far photography has come. With practical cameras only being 1800s
when they were extremely large to now where everyone has one in their pocket as part of their phone.
To make it even more incredible photos taken now can be shared across the world in the matter of
seconds with the simple push of a button. There are even social media applications dedicated to only
sharing pictures as a quick glimpse into your life. However, what is truly incredible about a picture is
the emotions it can evoke, and the change that it can start.
Photography can do so many things for human lives as well as the human experience. To start,
photography can force us to act. Every day, millions of people across the world hope to make an
impact. They want to help those who need it, these unsung heroes strive to improve the lives of those
in need. How can they spread their message or their cause to those who have no idea it exist? They
could go to the news and tell the story of what they are trying to do, and get help for those in need. But
to truly make an impact, they can share a picture. This picture makes the plight of those in need real.
You can see the suffering on their faces, the desolate surroundings, and the help they truly do need.
Pictures bring to light what we may not see, or may never hear of.
Another major influence of photography is how it allows us to document events and influences how
we perceive things. When you look at some of the most influential

How Did Levis Impact The World
Levi Strauss woke up one day, not knowing that he would impact the world forever. You maybe be
asking, What in the world did Strauss do? He was the one who invented Genes! (Or What we call
nowadays Jeans.) Here is some back information about Levi Strauss life. He was born February 26,
1829, in the city of Buttenheim, Germany. He has six siblings and he was the youngest. Growing up in
Germany for him was hard because he was Jewish. When Levi was sixteen, his father passed away
from a disease. This was the time where he moved to America. After a few years, the Gold Rush came
into play. He decided that it would be good opportunity to make a business. So he moved to California
to find some inspiration. In the 1850 s he moved from New York to California where he opened a shop

different. Miners loved the pants so much it became super popular. In a matter of time, Strauss was
working so hard for everyone to get at least one pair. Soon he edited his pants once again and started
to use blue denim (Which are pronounced Genes in French but in English it is Jeans ) for his pants.
Then soon in 1872, Jacob Davis, a Nevada Tailor, sent a letter. He requested something that he couldn

process so he decided to tell Strauss. And so, the jeans we know and love were

Creation is when the process of bringing something into existence using ideas and designs, it involves
the actual making of the product. If the production process had no actual creation there would be no
final product, so it is an important part of the process where the design of the product is put into
making and become the final product for use and testing purposes.
Implementation is including new ideas and designs into projects and existing designs to help further
them in all ways, implementation also means to put something into action, people use implementation
to try and achieve targets and goals when something is failing for example, a cereal company such as
Kellogg s may be doing bad in the market in terms of sales of their cereal boxes so try and help this
issue they could implement a toy which would come with the cereal, this would attract more people to
buy the cereal, if there was no implementation into any projects or designs then there would be no new
ideas to further the original idea.

you need to take action towards your goals. Goals won t magically happen just because you ve written

Three of my personal smart goals include getting A honor roll for the next nine weeks, place second in
state for our FFAAg issues team and make an A on the exam in Government on Monday 14. In order
to measure these goals I will have to continuously track my progress and keep on top of all my work
and make sure I study for everything prior to the date it will be completed. Establishing concrete
criteria for measuring progress toward the attainment of each goal is a great way to start. When you

Pedophilia and Ideas to Prosecute Offenders
Debate
Pedophiles molest young children, some of them either kill children after abuse or cripple them
psychologically. Hence this house will execute Adult Pedophiles. However, when Pedophiles are non
adults, below 17 years of age, how should they be penalized? They should not be given a free hand to
destroy the core values of a society. No matter what age group they belong to the sex offenders should
be executed with some serious penalties.
The age barrier on most occasions comes in the way of the execution of the teenagers who involve
themselves in different kinds of sex offense. The problem is if teenage pedophiles are not punished
they would do the same crime again and again.
Here I would present some of the arguments that would strengthen my case.
Solvency.1 Civil commitments
First up, Pedophiles according to many psychologists and psychiatrists are the problem children. They
do not grow normally like other normal kids. Either they bear some domestic violence at home or they
have been victims of sexual abuse themselves at a very young age.
This justification for the sinful acts of the pedophiles might not be enough. A pedophile must get the
necessary punishment according to the laws. If this does not happen then society can be in a chaotic
situation.
The teenage pedophile should not be executed. Instead this house would enforce penalty in the form of
monitored psychological treatment.
Secondly, the teenage Pedophiles should be made to perform some civil commitments.

Sexuality and Desire in Jane Austen s Mansfield Park
In a letter to her brother dated 1814, Jane Austen boasted about a compliment she had received from a
friend on her most recent work, Mansfield Park: It s the most sensible novel he s ever read (263).
Austen prided herself on creating literature that depicted realistic characters and honest situations, but
perhaps more importantly, she strove to create fiction that was moral and instructional as well as
entertaining. So what does sensible say about the sexual? In Mansfield Park, the answer appears
blaringly before us, as we repeatedly witness sexuality and desire represented in the darkest of terms,
and often resulting in the most sinister of outcomes. Those who ... Show more content on

Mary is remarkably pretty (35) and wins the Bertrams over with her lively dark eye, clear brown

Mary, however, is sincere in her emotions toward Edmund (at least, as sincere as Mary Crawford
could ever be), but the combination of Edmund s desire for her and her own seductive nature makes
her a precarious character.
Perhaps Mary s biggest problem is that she is too knowledgeable for her own good. Her skepticism

when compared to the ideological views of Edmund. Unlike Edmund, who is strikingly ignorant about
the matter, Mary becomes preoccupied with understanding Fanny s position in society, and subsequent

Suicide Is A Serious Issue
Suicide is one of the largest social problems today affecting many lives in one way or another. It is a
serious issue with multiple contributors that have been elusive in many cases as we try to understand
why many younger people are choosing to end their lives instead of receive the help they need.
Suicide is a serious issue that can have lasting results on individuals, families and communities.
Although suicide rates decreased from 1990 2000, suicide is on the rise again and now the 10th
leading cause of death in the US for all ages (SAVE | Suicide Facts. n.d.). The causes of suicide are
complex and unique to each, therefore, with effective prevention approaches, patient rights, and
options as well as resources available to those experiencing suicidal ideations, we can promote
awareness of suicide and encourage social change. Funding for community resources has been
shrinking for decades, and it is becoming problematic for many of those who are in urgent need of
psychiatric attention. Access to comprehensive, quality mental health service is often compounded by
discriminatory barriers such as high costs and lack of insurance coverage. These restrictions imposed
by insurance companies as well as policies and procedures delay patients from receiving appropriate
care, as well as the inability to receive preventive care and hospitalization that could be prevented. For

Medication Error And Medication Errors
Medication error Medication error is one of the biggest problems in the healthcare field. Patients are
dying due to wrong drug or dosage. Medication error is any preventable incident that leads to
inappropriate medication use or harms the patient while the medication is in the control of the health
care professional,or patient (U.S. Food and Drug Administration, 2015). It is estimated about 44,000
inpatients die each year in the United States due to medication errors which were indeed preventable
(Mahmood, Chaudhury, Gaumont Rust, 2012). There are many factors that contribute to medication
error. However, the most common that factors are human factors, right patient information,
miscommunication of abbreviations, wrong dosage. Healthcare providers do not intend to make
medication errors, but they happen anyways. Therefore, nursing should play a tremendous role to
reduce medication error The reality is that human s make mistakes. Caregiver s fatigue and stress
plays a huge role in medication error. It is reported that fatigue and stress increased the risk of
medication error. In a study comparing nurses who worked a 12 hour shift in different age groups,
older nurse s experienced sleeping trouble and were not able to focus on maintaining their
performances during their shift (the average age of US registered nurses is 46.8). Fatigue is related to
misreading labels, because somehow one is not fully conscious, a nurse who worked a 16 hour shift

The Unknown Citizen By F. H. Auden, A P
In the three literary works that were chosen, The Known Citizen by W. H. Auden, A P by John Updike,
and Antigone by Sophocles has a theme that is known to be conformity and rebellious. The poem The
Unknown Citizen is mainly about the unknown man who is a conformist because he listens to all the
rules that are made for the society. On the other hand, the short story A P has a conformist character
who enforces the rules for the supermarket and a rebellious character who goes against the rules for
the supermarket. Similar to A P the play Antigone also has a conformist character who likes to go by
the rules that the society has made; however, a rebellious character who is always goes against the

Accredited programme requirements were created from the Criminal Justice Act 2003 but in order to
understand how this came to be it is significant that the history and political context of the probation
service is understood.
The Probation of Offenders Act was established in 1907 and under this act the release if offenders into
the community under the control of probation officers were made official. The primary aim of the
probation was made clear under this act which was to advise, assist and befriend and it continued that
way until 1970 s. During this period it transformed into an agency concerned with casework,

However, research carried out in the 1990 s as part of what works movement identified that the most
successful sentences were those that attempted to change, not only the offender s behaviour but also
their attitude towards their offending (Hollin, 2007). This catalysed the push towards cognitive
behavioural approaches and by 1999 one especially important development was the establishment of
the Correctional Services Accreditation Panel, which quality assured probation and prison
programmes for rehabilitating offending. This technique brought an emphasis of individual
responsibility of an offender (Mair,2004). A criticism of this was the lack of attention of sociological
factors that can influence criminal behaviour.
Responsibility of offenders can be considered to have arose as part of the Just Deserts in which is
fundamental to it rational in two ways. First, the need to sentence individuals for the crime committed
rather than sociological or behavioural issue that may have been a factor in the offender committing
the crime. Secondly, under the concept of proportionality in which the sentence is proportionate to the
crime. At this point a very subtle difference in sentencing had an impact on the way probation was
viewed because non custodial sentences became recognised as an alternative to prison rather than an
alternative to punishment (Worrall, 2006). Thus, probation was regarded as a punishment in its own
right which is

The History Of Bristol s Economy
The history of Bristol s economy has undertaken a change in similar fashion to economic capitals
across world, namely London, yet to a smaller extent (Bassett et al 2002). The transformation of the
dockland region and subsequent development from the post war period has led this paper to focus
upon the financial sector. Bristol s past follows a parallel trend of dockland manufacturing centres post
World War 2 that became involved into finance because of temporal changes. Degeneration was led
through the absence of new port proposals that fell through from the Labour government, leading to
the rise of other economic sector to facilitate growth (Hoare 1986).The research undertaken in this
paper is specified to the numerous accountancy firms scattered across the city centre (Figure 1) and
narrowed to the largest four firms: PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC Figure 2), Ernst and Young (EY
Figure 3), KPMG (Figure 4) and Deloitte (Figure 5). The change in economic geography of Bristol
can be exemplified from the expansion of these financial services to promote new functions within the
economy. Historically, the financial sector of Bristol was a result of the redundant industries of the
manufacturing sector of the ports in the 1960s. During the 1970s change was beginning to occur with
57% of Bristol s 0.5 million population employed in the financial district of some form. The
development of the office work environment was a consequence of the movement of the finance

for a long time, and wanted to make it work before the relationship was lost. This contributed to their
marriage s demise. For Ranch Girl, there was a clear lack of communication between her and Andy.
For years, the only conversations really happening between them was over Andy s come home and
fuck me (p. 48). Ranch Girl did not talk with him much, yet planned her entire life around marrying
Andy. The heavy emotion held behind each story feels like it is held together by this lack of
communication between people who liked each other. In contrast, these relationships differed in the
actual time spent together and the depth behind that. In Ranch Girl there was a clear lack of actual
time spent developing any boundaries of a relationship. The two characters were young, and had liked
each other from afar, sharing only a single dance. You dance with him at the all night graduation part,
and he watches you around the waist and says he doesn t know a more beautiful girl (p. 51). The
relationship between Caroline and Wayne in Signals seems to be much more long term and deep
rooted. This comes through in the kind of tense conversation they had at this table. Caroline threw

Essay On Blockchain
3 Background
This section aims to explain blockchain and related technologies that will be used to implement the
provenance solution.
3.1 Blockchain
A blockchain is a data structure that facilitates in the creation of a digital ledger of transactions. It
consists of data sets that are made of a chain of blocks which represent a transaction history. A block
comprises of multiple transactions and are validated cryptographically by the network. In addition,
each block contains a hash value of previous block, a timestamp, and a nonce, which is a random
number for verifying the hash. This design ensures that any change on the block will immediately
change the respective hash value. For a block to be added on the chain, the network through a ... Show

Finally, it s immutable nature, in which a block cannot be changed once added to the ledger ensures
auditability and integrity of the entire network.
3.2 Ethereum
Ethereum is an open generic blockchain platform developed by the Ethereum Foundation, a Swiss
nonprofit organization [11]. It supports permissionless transactions on both public and private
network, which means anybody is allowed to participate in the network. Ethereum works on the
premise that all participants have to reach a consensus over the order of all transactions that have
taken place and have access to all entries ever recorded. It uses tokens via smart contracts code written
in Solidity and ether as currency. To prevent double spending transactions, it enforces a proof of work
(PoW) by the miners. However, this normally has an effect on its performance [10].
3.3 Radio frequency identification (RFID)
This technology consists of three parts: a reader, antenna, and a tag. The readers has a microprocessor
that is connected to an external computer. A radio frequency antenna is connected to the reader and is
used to transmit wireless radio signals to the tag. This antenna also receives radio signals reflected by
a tag s antenna in response. The tag has an inbuilt antenna which receives radio signals from a reader,
a rectifier which converts the received signal to provide power to the tag and a

Problems of International Students Essays
In 2006 to 2007, according to the data compiled by the Institute of International Education, 582,984
students from all over the world were enrolled in American colleges and universities in a wide range
of fields (Carter, Paragraph 2, 2008). The United States has the highest number of students who are
coming to study abroad than any other countries. Each year, the number of international students
coming to the United States to obtain degrees is increasing by thousands, and home countries of these
students are primarily India, China and Korea, all located in the whole different continent. But what
are the motives of students who are crossing the sea to study? Their goal of studying abroad is to
experience diversity and to adapt attitudes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For me, art history discussion session is most challenging. I become very nervous the night before the
discussion and participation grade is the only word that pops out of my head during every session. I
start to lose confidence as I observe other students analyzing the art work perfectly. Although
participation grade is not based on correctness, I cannot stop worrying about whether what I am
thinking is right or wrong and how people are going to think of my accents. Not only do students feel
stressful in verbal context, they also face difficulties in essays. Because of their limited vocabulary,
students have hard time expressing their knowledge clearly on essay exams or research paper, and the
different format of writings preferred in American colleges and universities often confuse international
students with their native format of writings (Lin and Yi, Paragraph 7, 1997). For example, while
American writings follow a specific structure with a clear main idea, supporting evidence and a
conclusion, Eastern Asian writings don t have a specific format. Also, according to Lin and Yi, many
international students are hired as teaching assistants, and students who are enrolled in their classes
can misinterpret due to their accents or incorrect application of language. International students face
difficulties in social communication as well as academic

My First Encounter With The Monastery Of The Holy Spirit
The Facts This was my first encounter with the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. I chose the Monastery
because it was the only place that I haven t visited on the list of samples. I also enjoyed the scenic, ten
minute drive to the Monastery. At first, I was simply blown away by the beautiful landscape. When I
stepped out of my car, I remember feeling this sense of peace. Before I even went inside, I started
walking the trail that leads to the retreat. All I could think about was how beautiful the place was. As I
was walking, I noticed that the everything seemed so still and peaceful. Even the wildlife seemed to be
at peace. I did not reach the retreat house because I wanted to find out more about the landscape. After
my 45 minute walk, I ventured inside the Visitor s Center and Café for a refreshment. The store was
just like any other Christian store I ve been in, but the café was different. The first thing I notice about
the café were these gorgeous wooden tables and benches. Then, I noticed how the café was set up.
There was a refrigerator to my immediate right that had all the cold beverages. The hot beverages
were self serve, and they were just a few feet away. It was one of the neatest set ups that I d ever seen
in a café. I would say that it is probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes that I have ever
visited. Once I finished examining the café, I decided to enter the museum. Interpretation and
Evaluation As I exit the café and head towards the museum,

  • 2. Father Diego Dur An Advocate For The Aztecs Of The Aztec... Father Diego DurĂĄn was a Dominican priest in Mexico after the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire. He was born in Selville, Spain in 1537 but moved to New Spain as a child. He originally lived in Texcoco but eventually moved to Mexico City and became a priest in 1556. He became fluent in the native language Nahuatl and gained the inhabitants trust with his understanding nature and respect for their culture. He used his experiences and access to first hand knowledge to write three books, The Ancient Calendar, The History of the Indies of New Spain, and The Book of Gods and Rites, collectively known as the DurĂĄn Codex. DurĂĄn was an advocate for the Aztecs living in New Spain, but he was still a Catholic priest who saw everything he did through the lense of potential conversion. During his extensive study of the local culture he came to see the parallels between his faith and indigenous religion as evidence of Abrahamic religion having been brought to the New World and corrupted by the Devil. The only way, according to DurĂĄn, to truly root out the satanic practices of the Mesoamerican religions was to understand them. He wrote the DurĂĄn Codex to both help that missionary work and satisfy his own curiosity. The Book of Gods and Rites was written from 1574 to 1576. Fifty years before that, Hernan Cortez had taken over the Aztec Empire and toppled it s capital city Tenochtitlan. • 3. The Sexual Revolution Sexual intercourse (n): sexual contact between individuals involving penetration. Throughout the years, social norms in the United States changed drastically. Some people may blame the Sexual Revolution for those causes. The Sexual Revolution, also known as the Sexual Liberation was a social movement that provoked drastic change in traditional behavior related to sexuality and relationships. Before The Sexual Revolution even occurred, people were considered very closed minded and unaware of the possibilities. The traditional norm during this era was establishing sexual intercourse strictly for after marriage. Going against that norm was seen as both shameful and riskful. Not only that, but sexual intercourse was also strictly enforced to be between heterosexual pairs. The LGBT community was both unknown and unheard of during this time period. Aside from people s sexual attractions, Women s rights was not a very big topic spoken about at the time, as well. Women were also under very strict norms, in which they were spoken down to, had limited rights and were silenced in every way possible. During the 1960s, groups of people who were part of the LGBT community, or as it was known back then the gay community , began identifying themselves as so, very openly. Both gay men and lesbians took direct action in their homes and went against the shame that their community was known to go under. For as long as anyone can recall, the LGBT community was never exactly accepted by all. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

By following in the footsteps of the Father of Genetics Gregor Johann Mendel ; I ve attempted to achieve recreating (on a much smaller scale) one of his inheritance experiments conducted in 1856 1863. This particular experiment led him to create the Law of Segregation and the Law of Independent Assortment, which later became known as Mendel s Laws of Inheritance. By following the Second Law created by Mendel (Independent Assortment) it was possible to hypothesise that the growth rate of both peas and barley were manipulated by the phenotype and genotype of each individual plant, chlorophyll absorption within each plant and how had the inheritance pattern affected the overall biological mass/growth rate of the collective. Essentially the phenotype Green has a higher probability to grow into adulthood without complication due to the Chlorophyll s ability to absorb more light (to photosynthesise and grow) as opposed to the white or yellow phenotypes which absorb less light due to the colour pigmentation within their leaves. The inheritance pattern of both peas and barely contributes to the genotypes and phenotypes present within the plants. • 5. Analysis Of The Fire Next Time By James Baldwin In the United States, all citizens are entitled to a freedom of choice, under which they may choose their beliefs and ideals. Unfortunately, with this freedom , people lose their sense of truth and reality, and must rely upon the ideals of times past and present to ground themselves in this world. The Fire Next Time, written by James Baldwin, examines this issue in Down At The Cross , an account of the author s experience with founding his reality on religion and with his continuing struggles with race and society. In this religious record, Baldwin discusses how he finds a home in religion and how he spends the majority of his life in his religious career, both of which offer a sense of safety for his lost soul. Consequently, he then describes his mistake for trusting religion to act as his foundation as he then learns the stupefying truth of his God s negligence, how his God takes no action to save Baldwin s people from the depths of society. Therefore, in order to prevent the reader from resorting to the same alternative, Baldwin intends to persuade the reader to not base their reality upon the beliefs of others or of a denomination, but solely upon the facts of life which stand before them. He hopes to discourage the reader by informing of the horror and the harrowing pain he experiences with having his world shaken to the foundation. Baldwin achieves this by accentuating the shock of his realization about religion and his God, showing the reader how this affects him as a means of persuasion. Perrott !2 In order for Baldwin to convince the reader (to not base their reality in the beliefs of others) (is this necessary to keep?), he elaborates upon the lurid realizations of his God and of his faith, which changes his and the reader s perception of religion for the remainder of the book. Since these feelings are particularly strong for Baldwin, he mirrors his experience with strong emotional language to bring life into the story and accentuate the importance of the event, which grasps the reader s attention as well as their interest. Baldwin exemplifies this strategy when he illustrates the severity of his emotions at the realization of his God s negligence. Baldwin describes his agony: ...and naturally, ... • 6. Building Ventilation Systems Ventilations Systems Introduction Millions of Americans work in buildings with mechanical heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems which have been designed to provide air at comfortable levels of temperature and humidity. Most never worry about harmful concentrations of air pollutants that may exist in the air they breathe. While heating and cooling are basic operations, the more complex processes involved in ventilation are paramount in ensuring high quality indoor air. Ventilation is much more than air flowing throughout a building. Most ventilation systems introduce outdoor air, condition it by mingling it with portions of indoor air and then distributing the resulting combined air throughout the building, usually dispelling small portion outside of the building structure. If any part of the process is inadequate or faulty, the quality of indoor air may be jeopardized and can result in harmful toxins or pollutants circulating in enclosed spaces where they can pose health risks. Ventilation, either natural or mechanical, is an effective approach to providing acceptable indoor air. General ventilation of a building is needed to satisfy the respiratory needs of its occupants and to remove any body odors and tobacco smoke, should smoking be permitted. On a more serious level, systems that are improperly operated or maintained have been known to contribute to sick building syndrome (SBS); SBS has physical symptoms without clearly recognizable causes. ... • 7. A Brief Note On Peer And Peer ( P2p ) Peer to peer (P2P) networking is a network of computers that have the capability of being either a client or a server. Furthermore, P2P is the use of your own personal computer for the purpose of more than just basic client only tasks. Peers on a network are able to share resources, storage space, and processing power directly available to others hosts on the network without the need of a centralized communications model like the client/server model. Each user of the network is both a supplier and a consumer of the resources provided on the network. Because peers are not connected to a central server it removes the risk of losing data through a central server crash. One of the most widely known forms of Peer to Peer networking is simply instant messaging. This is P2P in its simplest form. AOL, Facebook, MSN, are all examples of software that uses Peer to Peer networking in order to allow users to message one another in real time. The goal of P2P is to make things faster and safer, so it makes sense that many companies have moved to implementing instant messaging as a standard of communication. Another use of Peer to Peer networking is for illegal purposes. Many of us have heard of the widely famous software Napster. It was originally known as the pioneer behind peer to peer file sharing. Napster was commonly used for the purpose free music downloading. Users from all around would come and upload free music, but the problem with this was copyright infringement. Many ... • 8. Christian Life And The Teachings Of The Bible I have been participating in the Korean language class on Monday and Wednesday from August 10 to now. Last Sunday, I participated in the 1st annual golden harvest 5k marathon. First, I d like to discuss the spiritual concepts/values from text that relate to personal beliefs. I am a Christian since birth. So all I d like to talk about is Christian life and the teachings of the bible. Throughout my whole life, I have learned about spiritual things and what kind of spiritual things are in my ego. The spiritual values that I always have is love, hope, and trust. Love is an element that Christians value and have in their Christian mind and the bible says to love each other. I am doing my best to understand this word throughout my whole life and it is the reason why I chose my major Nursing. The dictionary meaning of love is an intense feeling of deep affection or feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone. The bible states that Christian love is selfless and a giving love. I realized something when I went to Africa for doing some volunteer work. I felt what it meant to be selfless and what it was to give love through volunteering and now I keep this in mind through my life too. The second value is hope. All of religion is based on hope, just like forgiveness, and going to heaven and waiting for God to give them something that they want. But in the bible it says, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ (Peter ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Google has produce multiple products over the years that were successful and some that lack success. The latest product their trying to liftoff is the Google Car. A driverless car that can rely on their sensors and software to drive themselves. The idea of a car that drives without a driver is by far interesting, but is it good to have a person life in the hands of a machine. It doesn t exist yet, but there isn t any point in going through that phase. There are two Italian researchers are looking to release self driving pods. The pods, called Next, they re driverless boxes that will take you anywhere. But even the Next pods fall short of what Pearson foresees. For one, Next is a public transportation system that is controlled by a third party. The pods will pick you up after you request one through an app. (Muoio) So, there other things that are similar to driverless car that are surfacing around the world. Another concept applied to this experiment is the cooling curves, which for a pure solution does not plateau when the phase change occur, rather the rate at which the temperature decreases becomes slower. Even to the novices and the arm chair commanders whose combat experience does not extend past Call of Duty , it is clear that choosing one path over another can mean the difference between life and death for oneself and one s unit. While the former is often the well known reality of life that is seldom overcome, the latter leads people to make the wrong decision when the right one is clear. • 25. Reflective Conflict Conflicts are present in our everyday lives, some big and some small. The degree to which they impact our relationships largely depends on who is involved and what each party s expectations are. Conflicts can either go onto a constructive or destructive path depending on how the parties involved handle the given situation or problem. I am currently experiencing a destructive conflict with two of my roommates and that is what I will be focusing on for this critical analysis paper. Folger, Poole, and Stutman (2013), define conflict as, the interaction of interdependent people who perceive incompatibility and the possibility of inference from others as a result of this incompatibility (p. 4). Using this definition, I will break down my current conflict in order to describe and analyze it using a variety of concepts and theories. I live in a suite on campus with four other people which consists of myself, my friend whom I have known since freshman year, her boyfriend, and two other girls who we did not know prior to moving in. Within a few weeks of being here, my friend blew something very minor that happened with one of the other girls out of proportion. Threatening text messages were sent which led to loud, in person arguments. These instances led to a meeting with our RA, and later, a meeting with the Hall Director and the RA because things escalated and got out of hand. More problems have arisen, but this time between my friend, her boyfriend, and myself. A few ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The impact of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) on markers of recovery following intensive, muscle damaging training Introduction For many sports with congested fixtures recovery between games is very important to ensure players are at their best for the matches. An example of a period where this is particularly true is the Christmas period with football with most teams facing a high number of games in a short period, sometimes only 2 days between games. Without proper recovery modalities players, can suffer from delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and from a study by Cheung, Hume Maxwell (2003) it was found that DOMS reduces athletic performance due to the muscle soreness and the damage done to the muscle and caused a decrease in strength and power, with a greater effect on strength and power during eccentric contractions. A study by Byrne, Twist and Eston (2004) discussed the muscle damage caused by high force eccentric exercise. They found that the stretch shortening cycle(SSC) what occurs during a drop jump, causes muscle damage in the muscle and therefore contributes to DOMS and is similar to the damage done by running. The appearance of Creatine Kinase in the blood following exercise has been used as an indirect measure of muscle damage and a study by Clarkson Hubal (2002) looked into various different markers of muscle damage in the blood and CK was investigated compared to other blood markers they found CK increase much more relative to other ... With practical cameras only being 1800s when they were extremely large to now where everyone has one in their pocket as part of their phone. To make it even more incredible photos taken now can be shared across the world in the matter of seconds with the simple push of a button. There are even social media applications dedicated to only sharing pictures as a quick glimpse into your life. However, what is truly incredible about a picture is the emotions it can evoke, and the change that it can start. Photography can do so many things for human lives as well as the human experience. To start, photography can force us to act. Every day, millions of people across the world hope to make an impact. They want to help those who need it, these unsung heroes strive to improve the lives of those in need. How can they spread their message or their cause to those who have no idea it exist? They could go to the news and tell the story of what they are trying to do, and get help for those in need. But to truly make an impact, they can share a picture. This picture makes the plight of those in need real. You can see the suffering on their faces, the desolate surroundings, and the help they truly do need. Pictures bring to light what we may not see, or may never hear of. Another major influence of photography is how it allows us to document events and influences how we perceive things. They should not be given a free hand to destroy the core values of a society. No matter what age group they belong to the sex offenders should be executed with some serious penalties. The age barrier on most occasions comes in the way of the execution of the teenagers who involve themselves in different kinds of sex offense. The problem is if teenage pedophiles are not punished they would do the same crime again and again. Here I would present some of the arguments that would strengthen my case. Solvency.1 Civil commitments First up, Pedophiles according to many psychologists and psychiatrists are the problem children. They do not grow normally like other normal kids. Either they bear some domestic violence at home or they have been victims of sexual abuse themselves at a very young age. This justification for the sinful acts of the pedophiles might not be enough. A pedophile must get the necessary punishment according to the laws. If this does not happen then society can be in a chaotic situation. The teenage pedophile should not be executed. Instead this house would enforce penalty in the form of monitored psychological treatment. Secondly, the teenage Pedophiles should be made to perform some civil commitments. ... Austen prided herself on creating literature that depicted realistic characters and honest situations, but perhaps more importantly, she strove to create fiction that was moral and instructional as well as entertaining. Mary, however, is sincere in her emotions toward Edmund (at least, as sincere as Mary Crawford could ever be), but the combination of Edmund s desire for her and her own seductive nature makes her a precarious character. It is estimated about 44,000 inpatients die each year in the United States due to medication errors which were indeed preventable (Mahmood, Chaudhury, Gaumont Rust, 2012). This catalysed the push towards cognitive behavioural approaches and by 1999 one especially important development was the establishment of the Correctional Services Accreditation Panel, which quality assured probation and prison programmes for rehabilitating offending. This technique brought an emphasis of individual responsibility of an offender (Mair,2004). A criticism of this was the lack of attention of sociological factors that can influence criminal behaviour. Responsibility of offenders can be considered to have arose as part of the Just Deserts in which is fundamental to it rational in two ways. First, the need to sentence individuals for the crime committed rather than sociological or behavioural issue that may have been a factor in the offender committing the crime. Secondly, under the concept of proportionality in which the sentence is proportionate to the crime. I start to lose confidence as I observe other students analyzing the art work perfectly. Although participation grade is not based on correctness, I cannot stop worrying about whether what I am thinking is right or wrong and how people are going to think of my accents. I did not reach the retreat house because I wanted to find out more about the landscape. After my 45 minute walk, I ventured inside the Visitor s Center and Café for a refreshment. The store was just like any other Christian store I ve been in, but the café was different. The first thing I notice about the café were these gorgeous wooden tables and benches. Then, I noticed how the café was set up. There was a refrigerator to my immediate right that had all the cold beverages. The hot beverages were self serve, and they were just a few feet away. It was one of the neatest set ups that I d ever seen in a café. I would say that it is probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes that I have ever visited. Once I finished examining the café, I decided to enter the museum. Interpretation and Evaluation As I exit the café and head towards the museum, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
