4. The Beginning
Since the beginning of
the 20th century,
skyscrapers began to
take over cities.
Skyscrapers were built
to promote and increase
name recognition.

5. The Future
Skyscrapers will have total control over cities, some many
will exist that cities will have to depend on them for control.
Houses will no longer exist.
Construction will be the new mean of survival- build to
survive.
Reduced living spaces to fit the world's fast growing
population- limited spaces are the new fashion.
The new purpose for skyscrapers will be housing for the
population, political control and financial centers.

Environmental
Factors

7. Taking care of the environment is a big issue when expanding
cities.
Developing projects will become the new fashion and there will
be little space for nature- nature will have to adapt to cities
rather than vice versa.
Buildings will have to incorporate certain factors in their
structures to be able serve as natural ecosystems as well. For
example: Trees will have to grow in terraces to keep nature
balanced.
Nature will depend on genetically engineered organisms.

10. In every city a local power has to be present to prevent anarchy.
Each country will be considered a state, having its own local leader.
Each city will have its own local government elected by the people.
All of these representatives will form part of a bigger power, the
central government, where the entire world is controlled.
The central government is where all the representatives will meet and
decide on laws and rights, this might be considered the congress of
the future.
To prevent tyranny, the leader of the central government will serve in
periods of five years and needs to be elected by the majority of the
representatives’ votes.

The well being of the economy and
society will be the main pillars of
each independent city.
When Industrialization impulses
economies to grow and society to
drastically change.
Social behavior changes due to
economic situations.
Ex.
When there's no money society
becomes more anxious and
people are desperate.
When there money society
becomes more relaxed.

14. In the cities of the future the economy will be at its
highest and will depend on the expanding of the cities.
Population will continue to grow so there will be a greater
demand for construction materials and labor force.
The government will take care of basic supplies: water,
food, and clothes.
Public transportation will be free.
All transportation methods will be electrical and
environmental friendly.

Citizens will be able to
enjoy a more relaxed life
but in a more polluted
environment.
Jobs will be available for
everyone.
The greater good for all.
