TARGET AUDIENCE
RESEARCH
Socio economic group
• Our targeted socio economic groups are C2 ,D and E as
they are like to watch our short film also as our short film
is targeted for the lower half of the socio economic group
our film will be affordable for the viewers and as we have
targeted group E which is mainly students they can relate
to some of the actors as the actors are students in there
teens.
Age range
• Our production is suitable for any age range, however our
film appeals to students and young adults aged 15 – 30.
as they are most likely to enjoy the thrills of an action
movie ev
BBFC
• For the BBFC we have targeted it at 15 due the scenes of
violence and strong language this means that it is not
actually suitable for people under the age of 15.
• As this is a action film there is usually always scenes of
violence and strong language and also looking at other
similar films we had decided to rate a 15.
Gender
• The target gender for our film is the majority of male
audience but we are targeting female audiences as well to
make sure we widen the range of audience that may want
to watch the film. We have chosen to target the majority of
males as through the research we have done we have
found out that more males watch action films than
females

Target audience

  • 2. Socio economic group • Our targeted socio economic groups are C2 ,D and E as they are like to watch our short film also as our short film is targeted for the lower half of the socio economic group our film will be affordable for the viewers and as we have targeted group E which is mainly students they can relate to some of the actors as the actors are students in there teens.
  • 3. Age range • Our production is suitable for any age range, however our film appeals to students and young adults aged 15 – 30. as they are most likely to enjoy the thrills of an action movie ev
  • 4. BBFC • For the BBFC we have targeted it at 15 due the scenes of violence and strong language this means that it is not actually suitable for people under the age of 15. • As this is a action film there is usually always scenes of violence and strong language and also looking at other similar films we had decided to rate a 15.
  • 5. Gender • The target gender for our film is the majority of male audience but we are targeting female audiences as well to make sure we widen the range of audience that may want to watch the film. We have chosen to target the majority of males as through the research we have done we have found out that more males watch action films than females
