Audience profile
By Kelsey wink
• My target audience for our short film would be
based around teenagers and above, the average
age 15-25. I would expect people of this age to
relate best to our film as the main characters are all
teenagers and drugs is generally stereotyped to this
  age.

AGE
• The short film was created with both males and
females in mind. We feel it is necessary to have a
wider target audience involving both genders as our
stinger is stereotyped around teenage life rather
than focused on a specific gender. The allows both
to relate to the film and gain a greater
  understanding.

SEX
• Our audiences income level I feel isn't extremely
important to bare in mind with our audience,
however, we would be looking around an average
income. This allows the viewers to still be able to
gain access and watch our film but it wouldn't have
a great effect on the making of our film.

INCOME LEVEL
• If our audience was interested in Media studies,
production and film making, this would really inspire
us and persuade them to watch our film, however,
basic education and interest into films are our main
  target audience.

EDUCATION
• My short film isn't specifically aimed towards a
specific genre. Taking shots and sound ideas from
other films and interpreting them into my own work
opens my audience further, however, my main
audience genre is people interested in abstract
  storylines and distorted narratives.

TASTES IN FILM GENRES
• The social class I am aiming my short film towards
is middle class. I feel it is necessary for people to be
able to afford the cinemas once a week to get
access to advertisement and viewing of films. Other
than this the class I am targeting isn't actually
  essential.

CLASS
• The marketing of my film will generally be
   advertised to the people on social networking sites;
Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. They will be put
on billboards around the area and advertised as in
   the cinema.
