Texas A&M School of Law provides technical support for students throughout their orientation and coursework. Students will receive an email and phone number to contact for any technical issues. Staff will monitor student activity and connectivity, and can verify students have adequate internet, cameras, and microphones. The only required software is the free Blackboard Collaborate Launcher. Students must have a webcam and microphone, and are encouraged to use a laptop or desktop over a tablet or phone. The school fully supports students with disabilities.

2. TECHNOLOGY REQUIRED
• From the beginning of the Orientation course
through the end of the final examination
period, students receive support for any
technical issues.
• You will be provided with both a technical
support email and phone number for any such
issues.

3. TECHNOLOGY CONTINUED
• Staff will monitor student activity in the courses and reach
out to students as necessary.
• Students will have opportunities to provide feedback about
technical issues and course administration.
• Staff can verify student access to good internet
connections, functioning web cameras, and microphones.

4. TECH REQUIREMENTS
• Students should have reliable access to a highs-
speed, broadband Internet connection.
• A minimum download speed of 5.00 mbps and
minimum upload speed of 2.00 mbps is
recommended.

5. TECH REQUIREMENTS
• The only software program that students will
need in order to join synchronous sessions is
the Blackboard Collaborate Launcher
• The BB Collaborate Launcher can be
downloaded for free and installed in five
minutes or less.

6. TECH REQUIREMENTS
• Students must have a webcam and microphone.
• Students are encouraged to use a laptop or
desktop computer rather than a tablet or
smartphone.
