2. Spinning Mill
• A spinning mill industry has several machines, which
open and clean raw cotton bales and transform them
into cotton yarn.
• There are different kinds of cotton yarns produced,
which vary in thickness(Count) and Strength(CSP).
• Different variants of cotton yarn can be used to
produce different cotton products, ranging from, Terry
Towels, Towels, Curtains, Bed Sheets, Denims, Shirts,
etc…

3. Spinning Mill
The raw material (cotton) has to go through the following steps –
• Blow Room – Where the cotton
is opened and cleaned.
• Carding – The carding machine
helps to comb and clean the cotton. Produces Sliver.
• Draw Frame – Equalises the
thickness of the sliver.
• Open End – This is the last process,
where the cooton yarn is produced.
