Sample Section
Sample section is the most important to gain the order
of buyer. At first in this section merchandiser gives a
tech pack to the sample room then according to the tech
pack sample maker makes sample after then
merchandiser gives the sample to buyer.
If remain any comments of the buyer then buyer gives a
mail to the merchandiser and then merchandiser does it
appropriately by the sample maker .
Finally merchandiser sends the correction sample to the
buyer. If buyer is satisfied about the correction sample
then he (buyer) gives the order for bulk production to
the merchandiser.
Store room : store room is the place where all
types of fabrics and trims and accessories are
kept with racking system by indicated as per
buyer order requirement .

•Carton storing in a dry place otherwise it will be damaged.
•Maintaining all record carefully
Washing and dyeing
Garment washing:
The technology which is used to modify the appearance,
outlook, comfort ability and fashion of the garments and in
some extent it used to give old or vintage effects is called
garment washing.
Purpose of garment washing:
- To remove dust, dirt, different added impurities from
garments and thus to achieve wash look appearance and
softness.
- To bring faded look, old look, tinted or over dyed appearance.
- To increase color fastness, wash fastness properties and to
reduce the possibility of further shrinkage of washed garments
during use.
Washing materials :
•Stones
•Rubber balls
•Washing agents
Factors of dyeing
•Temperature
•Time
Types of garment dyeing
•Pigment dyeing
•Florescent dyeing
•Garments over dye
•Double dye
Function of squeezing
•Excessive water is extracted from fabrics
•To facilitate to dry the fabrics

Cutting Section : Cutting Section Is The Important Where
Is Cut The Fabric According To The Plotted Pattern .
Procedure : At First Of All Fabric Are Brought From The
Store Room According To Buyer Requirement .Then
Fabrics Are Cut By Beating Machine According To Marker
Length And Width Wise ( Given allowance ) .Then Block
Fabrics Are Send To The Washing Section For Wash
.Finally Washing Fabrics Are Kept Relaxation
Approximately 8 To 12 Hours .
Then Block Fabrics Are Kept In A Rack Of The
Cutting Section To Avoid Shade Mixing .after then
fabrics are spreading with spreader machine and
cut fabric with end cutter machine according to
marker length and with wise .here mentioning that
if need to the other role of fabric then obviously
given thread on the spreading fabric and finally
spreading the other role of fabric to avoid shade
mixing .
Here total lay calculation is given , suppose -
Number of total marker products: 8
Order Qty: 216 pcs
Total lay of fabric: 216/8
= 27 ( lay)
Then given marker paper on total lay of the fabric
and paste with gum tape and cut fabric with clothing
cutter machine according to the marker plotted line .
Marker specification sheet
Numbering And Bundling:
Here Is Given Numbering And Bundling Is Very
Important .It Helps To Avoid Mixing With The Other
Panels Of The Garments .Here Is Given A Picture Of
Bundle Sheet.
.
Cut Panel Inspection:
At This Stage at First Of All, Bundle Card Is Seen Like –
•Buyer name
•Order no
•Style no
•Batch no
•Color no
•Bundle no
•Parts name
•Size Qty
Then according to the specification panels are checked.
Specially line mark, crease, shape problems are seen .if
any problem is found then for the fault panel, other panels
of that garments are kept in a box and repair . If stay any
print or embroidery then panels are sent to the print or
embroidery section.
Printing
•Printing can also be defined as localized dyeing.
•Sometimes a printed fabric can be identified by
looking at the back side of fabric where there is no
design or color as face side
There Are Three Basic Approaches To Printing A
Color On A Fabric
•Direct Printing
•Discharge Printing
•Resist Printing
Different Types of Printing:
Embroidery
At the beginning of the stage merchandiser give an
art work to the embroidery design section .Then the
designer develop the embroidery .After finished
the embroidery, he (embroidery) gives an
embroidery strike of sample to the merchandiser
.then the merchandiser gives the embroidery strike
of sample to the buyer if buyer is satisfied then
he(buyer) tells the merchandiser to start the bulk
production of embroidery.
Different Types Of Embroidery
Stitches
My Recommendation:
As per as I know the production of embroidery depends
on the amount of stitches. If the requirement of stitches is
much then the production will be less ,In that case , man
power can be increased to increase the production
.Another side if the requirement of the embroidery
stitches is few then the production will be high ,so in that
case man power can be reduced to decrease the cost of the
production .
