This document provides 10 rules for subject-verb agreement in sentences. It explains that the verb must agree with the subject in number - whether singular or plural. For each rule, it provides examples to illustrate how to determine the number of the subject and select the correct verb form. The rules cover subjects composed of multiple nouns joined by and/or/etc., collective nouns, phrases that don't affect number, nouns preceded by quantifiers, each, none, fractions, money amounts, and the phrase "more than one".
