Vacation time
Today is the first day in my five day vacation all over california. I started in sunset cliffs natural park
where I got to experience a beautiful sight of southern california. It was right on the beach there was
crashing waves and a beautiful sunset to go along with it. The hike along the coast was breathtaking. I
saw a couple of people jumping off some of the cliffs that lead into the ocean. The ocean was a perfect
blue. After my adventure I decided to grabs a bite at pepe s italian. After my delicious italian meal i
settled at the inn at sunset cliffs.it was $175 to stay there for one night. On day two is was taking my
car to palm springs it is going to be my second time in palm springs. The last time is was there i went
to water park. I got super sunburned the last time so i remembered to pack extra sunscreen. I will be
going to cabazon dinosaurs which is a road side attraction featuring some of the worlds biggest
replicas of dinosaurs. Cabazon dinosaurs is really fammous it was featured in pee wees adventure.
When i got there i was amazed by the scale of all the dinosaurs espaically the big t rex. I was even
more amazed by the great food they had. At the end of my adventure i settled at the palm springs hotel
which cost me $159. That morning i was up to go to hollywood where i was up for the ride of my life.
But before my activity for tat ay started i went to my grand dad house where i was going to be staying.

As an African American male in the United States of America, the opportunity to exercise my
constitutional right to vote in the 2016 Presidential election was an honor. During this time, I was a
first year college student in another county in Texas; therefore, I decided to use an absentee ballot

emissions C. However, many people believe that this number can be greatly reduced by implementing
cap and trade on carbon emissions. D. Some people believe that cap and trade is the most
environmentally and economically sensible approach to controlling greenhouse gas emissions. The
cap sets a limit on greenhouse emissions that a company can release. This cap is lowered over time to
reduce emissions. Then the trade allows companies to trade their emissions. So for example if
company A has very low emissions compared to company B who has high emissions. Company A can

Community College in the fall of 2014 at the Hammond area campus. With enrollment increasing
rapidly, Northshore relocated the business department to the North campus of Southeastern Louisiana
University campus in the spring of 2016. There is limited parking for freshmen. The parking area, we
can use is assigned to the overflow of the upper classmen. Even though driving a car to campus is

U.S. Taco Bell website will rank higher than its Indian counterpart in individualism and indulgence.

During the Light Dependent reaction, the suns energy is caught by the chlorophyll molecule, this
happens as oxidation. Energy in the form of a photon is required to increase the energy levels of

a photo system; in the middle of all photo systems there are different types of chlorophyll each one
has a specialized task to absorb a certain wavelength of light. The Electrons inside of the chlorophyll
absorb the energy produced by the photons and intensifies them so that they are excited. These excited
electrons are easily detached from the chlorophyll in the form of oxidation.
The light dependent reaction is used by the light independent reaction by utilizing the chemical energy

Faulkner s Description of Dewey Dell in As I Lay Dying William Faulkner s phrasing, point of view,
and grammar in his polyphonic novel, As I Lay Dying, strategically employs the miserably pessimistic
yet juvenile voice of Dewey Dell to characterize her as the novel s naïve victim. The only surviving
female in the Bundren family, Faulkner presents the hardships that Dewey Dell must endure. In
addition, as an uneducated girl with no guidance, Dewey Dell experiences an uncertainty in many
issues that arise in her life.
Dewey Dell s diction in As I Lay Dying functions to unravel the novel s deeper themes of suffering
and selfishness. Burdened with an illegitimate pregnancy after having sex with Lafe, Dewey Dell
grieves alone as she is isolated in her guilt and shame. She views the world as a sickening visceral pile
of guts, implying that death is her only relief, furthering the theme of mortality. It is interesting that

As an English 100 student, I have learned that I am not as good at writing as I thought I was. As the
year has progressed, the assignments seem to have become more tedious. I have also not taken the
necessary steps to create a good essay as I did on my first few assignments. In my first essay, I
carefully planned my essay and made sure that I actually understood what was being asked of me. As
the essays were assigned in rapid succession, I became more careless. Due to this, my essay scores
have dropped significantly. My first essay assigned in English 100 was, MICKY D. This essay is an
observational essay that explained how my workplace, McDonald s, is considered a discourse
community. My initial grade on this essay was a 90%. The next assigned essay was a literary narrative
essay called How I Got These Scars. This essay was about me learning how to ride my first big kid
bike . This essay was very difficult because I was having trouble remembering my past experience of
learning how to ride a bike. The memories were very vague and it is difficult for me to be creative
enough to add fictitious statements to the essay. The grade for this essay was an 89% before revisions.

This developmental object was displayed through the Hot potato (share the animal) activity. The
activity consisted of a sharing action, by passing on the different animal to the next preschooler. I
believe that the objective was achieved though this activity, as except one child was eventually able to

As I read the book about sharing and taking turns, I asked the preschoolers to describe what they see
and how the characters are feeling. The objective was only partially achieved in the yellow group as I
did not give an introduction explaining my book. This mistake could of possibly made it more difficult
for the children to describe the scenario in the story, as they did not know what to focus on. On the
other hand, I did ask questions throughout the book, prompting children to use descriptive words to
describe how the characters were feeling. For example, F.W was able to explain and use descriptive
words when answering my questions throughout the book, but at the end of the book she was not able
to describe the main theme. All eight children reacted the same way. This is my fault as I did not
specify where the preschoolers should maintain their focus. Therefore, my second time implementing
the activity allowed all eight children in the blue group to fully achieve the objective, as I made sure to
be more clear about what the children should focus on, helping them interact and understand more
thoroughly. Overall, the children reacted well to the book as I used different tones to keep them
