What you like about the work:
I really like how this music video isn’t staged, the band said in an interview that
they just went into the middle of chinatown and began to film.
How many locations are used:
One location is used but different places within this location are seen such as
where people are sitting, where the band is performing and also in a restaurant.
How many costume changes:
Throughout the video there is no costume changes they stay in the same clothes,
which fits in with the genre characteristics as the clothes they wear are quite
casual and dark in colour.

Yes cutaways to narrative are used, we see tyler joseph, the singer of the band,
looking around for someone to rely on and to help him, this links to the lyrics as he
says “but it takes someone to come around to show you how”

Throughout we see different camera angles on both tyler, the singer, and also josh
dun, the drummer, we see them playing their instruments but we also see some
shots of tyler on his own singing, we also see some pan shots and other shots of
different people around the main performance.

Both the digipack and the website use the band's signature colours of black and

What you like about the work:
I really like how simple this music video is and how it is in black and white which
both allow the viewers to focus on the words that Adele is seeing.
How many locations are used:
There is one location throughout as we follow adele as she sings while walking
along a river.
How many costume changes:
Along with there only being one location there is also only one costume worn
which Adele wears throughout, it is hard to tell what the clothes look like as the
camera shots are from waist up and are in black and white.

No, cutaways to narratives are not used as there is no on screen narrative to
follow, we are just walking with Adele down near a river listening to the words she
is saying.

The camera does not change in angles or move drastically, it only follows adele

What you like about the work:
I really like how the colour scheme of this video is really simplistic and the on
screen visuals are also quite simple which, like the Adele song, allows you to
focus more on the lyrics of the song.

One location is used where the band is performing.
How many costume changes:
Only one set of clothes are worn as the camera is on the band almost the whole
time.

No cutaways to narratives are not used however towards the end of the video
there is cuts between the band and the swat team appearing.

We see shots of the band from different angles which change and alternate, when
the swat team arrive we then begin to see different shots of them which cut back
to the band playing.

What you like about the work:
I like how the dancing done by maddie fits in so well, not only with the beat of the
song but also the lyrics, we don’t need anything more than the dancing and the
words said by sia.

One actual location is used, which is supposed to be a house, but different rooms
are filmed in.
How many costume changes:
One costume is worn throughout the video.

The camera follows maddie’s movements and follows her through the flat.

The products are all quite minimal in their design with the colours, being black and
