Plans for image taking

1. This is WilliamHallowell, he’s going to be the model for
my images for the album cover. I think Will is a good
choice for my model because he owns clothes that are
commonly seen in the rap genre which will go perfectly
with my album pictures and is similar to the costume I
have chosen for him to wear for all the photos. I also think
Will is a good choice because he will not mind copying the
positions I want him in, and going to the locations with me
to take the pictures so he will be a helpful for me.
Costumes
For my costume choice I will be using modern clothes that
are commonly seen in the rap genre and that we own so
we won’t have to purchase anything extra for the shoot,
these are also clothes that Will, will sometimes wear which
is why he will suit the costume given for him, while wearing
this costume I will make the model have the hood up for all
the images. I chose this costume because it’s fairly basic and I
don’t want my album cover to be flashy so therefore it will
suit the style of the album very well, however he will wear a
silver watch to accompany the outfit because most rappers
always have some type of jewellery so we will need to make
sure to fit the genre. The colours of the costume have also
some links to the album by the colour black have links with the night and darkness and in
some of the album there will be some dark topics brought so the costume has some
connotations of what the album might talk about.
Props
I won’t need any actual props for my shoot, the only prop will be the watch which will be
part of the costume.
Posing
For the poses, in my location at the walk of art I will want my model to be sat on the floor
looking down, with their knees up this will be the inside of my CD, I will also try a few shots
of him walking towards one of the ends, and maybe a few shots where the model is leaning
against the wall stood up. For my other location I will have him leaned against the wall and I
will take a few shots of him facing the camera and away from it
