INTRODUCTION
There are examples of “standard work” everywhere. You
will find them crossing the street, in restrooms, and at gas
pumps. If you start looking for instances they will reveal
themselves. Standard work is the current best documented
way to do something. It give us a starting point if we are
unfamiliar and a springboard for improvement. What
follows is a collection of pictures of standard work in
everyday places. Use them as a primer to help recognize
standard work, find ways to simplify existing pieces of
standard work, and to think about how visuals can
           strengthen standard work. Good Luck!
