How to do it

• Expectation Each week in the daily notices and on KAMAR
messages will be the expectation focus for that week. Others,
Learning, Environment or Self.
• Monday morning or the first day of the working week.
• Select the appropriate banner for your classroom.Write it on
the board if you do not have a banner at the moment.
• Context Choose your focus for each class that week. Record
these in your planning book. A few words is sufficient or even
one.

  • 2. How to do it • Expectation Each week in the daily notices and on KAMAR messages will be the expectation focus for that week. Others, Learning, Environment or Self. • Monday morning or the first day of the working week. • Select the appropriate banner for your classroom.Write it on the board if you do not have a banner at the moment. • Context Choose your focus for each class that week. Record these in your planning book. A few words is sufficient or even one.
  • 3. TEACHING MATRIX RESPECT Settings Inside the classroom / teaching area Expectations •I use good manners Others •I offer encouragement, support and cooperation •I treat others as I want them to treat me •I am organised Learning •I have high expectations Expectations •I never give up Environment I treat the classroom and all things in it with care •I Ieave the classroom clean and tidy Self •I set goals and work towards them •I am and excellent Corridors / staircases/ toilets Grounds Canteen Library Assembly Bus
  • 4. Evidence……. Data Data: Our present evidence shows: • We are teaching expectations 40% of the time • 83.5% of the staff and students know about the loyalty card system • 50% of the staff have never signed a loyalty card • • • • We need to show that We are teaching expectations at least 80% of the time Loyalty cards are being signed at least 80% of the time We have data to support these More next week…………………………………
