This speed checker uses two laser-light sensor pairs installed 100m apart on a highway. When a vehicle passes the first sensor, a timer is triggered and LED1 glows. When it passes the second sensor, the timer and LED2 stop. If the time taken is less than the preset time for the selected speed limit (e.g. 40 or 60 kmph), a piezobuzzer sounds an alarm. The time is displayed on a 7-segment display. The system precisely times vehicles to check for speed limit violations.
