The intersection is a place of conflict between vehicles of two or more roads.
Driver behavior and land use also influence intersections. This is the cause of the
need for studies for intersection management. One study for intersections is the
calculation of the intersection capacity itself. The capacity to be assessed, of course,
requires data on the volume of vehicles passing at the intersection. The purpose of
this study was to analyze the performance of the weekly intersections in Merauke
Regency by using the Indonesia Road Capacity(Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia: KAJI)
program.Results of analysis of vehicle volume data passing for one week, the largest
vehicle volume can be seen on Sunday at 17:00 - 18:00 WIT that is equal to 2038
vehicles / hour or 1153 pcu / hour. Calculation of intersection capacity using the
KAJI application obtained a weekly intersection capacity of 2451 pcu / hour. The
degree of saturation at a weekly intersection is 0.47. Based on the results of the
analysis it can be concluded that the service level of the four unmarked intersections
is at level C, ie the current is stable but the speed and motion of the vehicle is
controlled and the driver is limited in choosing speed.

The metro rail has quickly become the ultimate urban solution for city transportation. These have been serving as lifelines in urban spaces all across the world coupling its minimal carbon efficiency with its fuel efficiency it is the ultimate solution for mass commuter problems in large cities. Transporting thousands of people while being cleaner and greener than most of the other transport, undoubtedly, resulted in megacities in the world over to rely on the metro system. Such infrastructures are vital for the cities of the country like India, which have exponentially growing population. One of the newest Indian cities to join metro rail is the City of Nizams, Hyderabad.
Cities like Hyderabad have become large cities, unfortunately, a paradoxical situation exists here. The city is the economic engine of growth, contribute more in GDP but the same city is suffering and has reduced potential because infrastructures are not really robust. The infrastructure like metro rail pushes the city to become sustainable but at the same time it comes up with many challenges.
The traffic related issues faced by the people during construction phase of metro and the impact of metro on the future development of the city has been discussed in this report. As the city’s glorious structure is now evolving into a modern marvel with a metro rail, the impact on sustainability of city has also been discussed in brief.
This report also comprises of project sequence that is site work sequencing in detail. Furthermore, planning department work at the construction site has been discussed.

Effectiveness of using Geotextiles in Flexible Pavements and Life-Cycle Cost ...IJMTST Journal
Using geotextiles in between the pavement layers (generally at the interface of subgrade and sub-base) to stabilize weak subgrades has been a well-accepted practice over the past few decades. However, from an economical point of view, a complete life cycle cost analysis (LCCA), which includes not only costs to agencies but also costs to users, is urgently needed to assess the benefits of using geotextile in flexible pavement. Two comparative methods were used to quantify the improvements of using geotextiles in pavements. One is Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) and the other is Economic Analysis. LCCA is a tool which is generally used after the agency has taken decision to implement the project and seeking to determine the most cost-effective means to accomplish the project's objectives. Unlike LCCA, EA considers the benefits of an improvement as well as its costs and therefore can be used to compare design alternatives that do not yield identical benefits, as well as to compare projects that accomplish different objectives. In this study, a comprehensive life cycle cost analysis framework was developed and used to quantify the benefits of using geotextile at subgrade level in economic terms. For this, a case study of Dhanbad city in Jharkhand was selected where six roads of different hierarchy are being developed with World Bank funding. As per the soil and material investigations, the CBR value of existing subgrade soil was 4%. However, after using geotextile at subgrade level the equivalent strength was found to be around 8%. Forming both as two alternative case scenarios, both Economic Analysis (using HDM-IV developed by the World Bank) and Life Cycle Cost Analysis was conducted. The study concludes that geotextile layer plays a key role in increasing the pavement CBR value from 4% to 8%. Additionally, it also results in economic benefits as increase of average 1%-1.5% in EIRR value can be noted as compared to the pavement without geotextile layer. The results of LCCA shows that initial construction cost of the alternative with 4% CBR (without geotextile layer) as well as life cycle cost is more than the corresponding cost for the second alternative with 8% CBR (with geotextile layer).Hence, the second alternative (CBR 8%-with geotextile layer) is recommended based on both Economic Analysis as well as LCCA. Hence, for an optimum road flexible pavement design with geotextile incorporated in the system, a life cycle cost analysis that includes user cost as well as economic analysis must be performed. Quality systems entail having the organizational structure, responsibilities, procedures, processes and resources for implementing quality management such that there is a guiding framework to ensure that every time a process is performed the same information, method, skills and controls are used and practiced in a consistent manner. Construction firms have been continually struggling with its implementation. Historically construction has been an industry reluctant to implement change. Consequently, it has remained behind where it should be on the implementation of TQM. When a state highway physical works contract is issued for tender, it will be assessed to determine the quality assurance level. Transit will select the level for the contract using a formula designed to determine the relative complexity of the contract. NH-31 Extension is the newly declared National Highway of this region which starts form Etah to Kasganj. Its length is 97.48 Km. It is an important link road between Mainpuri and Bareilly. International tourist forms different countries commute through this road. It is very important road form cultural, commercial and strategic point of view; so, it has to be kept in good motor able condition. This report is based on a study conducted on NH-31 to identify those factors that hinder the implementation of TQM principles in the actual field operations of a construction jobsite. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast.
