Nowadays people are very much fond of restaurant food for less time consuming and more taste.
It is also popular among the people of our country. They always have this food in various
occasions with their family and friends and someone have this food for daily basis for their work.
For this reason they often went to restaurant which takes more time and loss their energy. To
remove this hassle we decide that we take the order from the customer through online that is
internet and delivery the ordered food to their house which make easier. So, with this initiative
we have come forward to make a business plan which is on Online Restaurant and take initial
steps to lunch this. We have named our business as ‘Friends Online Restaurant’. We have given
this name because this idea is taken from our friends where we all together lunching this plan.
Our main theme is to give home delivery to the customer from various restaurants they want and
the category of the restaurant is chosen by us which taken from our survey. We think it has great
potential in this type of food market industry. We have determined some factors that will help us
to generate some revenues from the beginning of this business lunch. And we also have defined
our competitor’s strategies so that we can compete with them. We have created a great
opportunity for investors who seek new innovative business ideas and plans.
Business Philosophy
Now-a-days a number people or people moving to the restaurant foods to have better foods as
well as to take the unique test of various foods which are available at different corners of the
world. So, different types of foreign and domestic restaurant companies set up their business in
the Dhaka city as well as other small and big cities in our country. But the very few of the
restaurants has the home delivery service so the peoples who are busy in his daily work they or
the people who are wanting to have their food with their family member or those people wanted
to serve their friends or family with unique restaurant food in a special ceremony, can’t have the
food in their workplace or home or on the place of the occasion for this reason as well as for this
reason the restaurant companies can’t increase their sales though they offer a large discount,
variety of foods or testes. This reason is our main target of our business plan and our main
philosophy to improve our business by delivering wide verity of restaurant’s food from famous
restaurants in customer’s doorstep. This will be an online base service, which will help the
customers to choose food by price or by food type or help the customers to order food by the
name of the restaurant. The customers have to just select the food which he wanted to have and
to provide the name and address in the online webpage and we shall be available with the food in
just thirty minutes, it does not matters or will not base on the quantity of food. Our employee
always ready serves our valuable customers on time. For some common reason and for our
financial insufficiency it is now not possible for us to serve our customers which are living
outside the Dhaka city.
Service Description
As we discussed in first business philosophy that we will serve our customers with delivering
food which are available in restaurants in Dhaka city in just thirty munities. And the website of
ours is developed in this way that without any kind of fed-up our customers can easily access the
restaurant, the food menu and then he have to place his full name, address and telephone number.
It is necessary for customers to know about the price of the food, so this will be remarked with
every single food (the price of may be low or high on the basis brand image of restaurant). All
teams and condition will be disclosed there will be no hidden charge and the customers may
different food delivering charge on basis of his location in Dhaka city (which will also disclosed
in website). After delivering food, if customers refuses his order he have pay some amount of the
food as wells the full delivery charge. We are bound to give our customers a new type of online
base restaurant experience from 8a.m. to 10p.m. Here is a snapshot of our restaurant website:
Marketing Research
Target Market Analysis:
In this step we are find out to our target customer to whose customer are buy our product and
how many people to buy our product. From the market survey it is noted that, both of male or
female using the internet proportionately, but the male person are a little bit more using the
internet. We can target both as our customer. If we select the place in Dhanmondi, Bonani,
Mirpur and old Dhaka town then here only we select mid-level people and those people are
educated and those people know about internet and buying thing over the internet. Like when we
are survey in the market we find out that 20 to below 29 years older person using the internet
randomly and Higher educate person are agreed to buy things through internet but it about
double amount of college graduates are interested to buy products into online super shop. There
are strong percentage of 20-29 age people and college graduate and post graduate people that’s
why we select this place and people to our target customer.
Competition:
As we know people does know about online shopping and they think they will not get the actual
product which they order online because this presentence is higher than others. The same
strategy is followed by many companies so
At the first stage in our country people don’t know about the online service but now people know
about online service and how the business does. In online business system there are many
competitors those are compete to our business, like online store, online super shop and there are
also many people those are doing the business in online. In online market strategy here any
people do this business but if we do business with the stable competitors here we must try to do
any other strategy those are like people and we are stand in new market with stable competitors.
Threat of new entrants:
For this business entry barrier is not very high, as a result in that sense it is an unattractive
segment. In food business new entrants are always available, but if we can build ours as a brand
name and gain the major portion of the market share we will certainly be able to avoid the threat
of the new entrants.
Threat of Substitute Product:
We are going to compete with the fast food. Fast food is available everywhere in Dhaka city. But
it is not the real substitute product and for that reason this segment of market is pretty attractive.
Service: There is some exception related to our service. We were mainly focusing on this
because there some close competitors we have and also strong. So lf we want to make position of
our service we have to make some uniqueness related to our service.

Pricing Strategy
The pricing strategy portion of the marketing plan involves determining how we will price our
product or service; the price we charge has to be competitive but still allow us to make a
reasonable profit.
Our main profit comes from the discount of actual price of the restaurants food. We have contact
with the target restaurant that they have to give us 10% discount on every food items.
Sales and Distribution Plan:
Delivery methods: Outline the distribution methods to be used.
 Our delivery boy wills delivery our product within 30min in our fixed selected area. We
are granted to deliver fresh food to them.
 Then comes our delivery terms, after delivering food, if customers refuse his order he
have pay some amount of the food as wells the full delivery charge.
Transaction process: Outline the transaction process between our business and your customers.
 They can use online card payment system.
 Cash on delivery.
 Bikash payment method.
 Bank cheque payment.
Sales strategy: Firstly we will start our business in the Dhaka area. In these area mostly
includes Dhanmondi, Bonani, Mirpur and old Dhaka town .If we are able to make satisfactory
profit then we will try to cover the other area.We control our business by our group members and
accountants, managers and financial officer are also from our group members.
Advertising and Promotion Plan
Our target market is from almost every level of the community. So our first choice is television
advertisement. Because it is the most effective way to reach as many potential customer as
possible and introduce ourselves in front of them visually. Then comes the online advertisement
in different types of reputed website to know our potential customers about service. Newspaper
is also another great source of media. It is the best media to explain the specialty of our product
in less cost. Advertisement on FM Radio is another media to reach many potential customers.
Organization and Personnel Plan
The Ownership structure: This is a partnership business. Related person hold different amount
of share of our company. Parvez Kamal Kaisan holds 24% of share. This is the major porton of
share hold by an individual. Then Akash Ranga Sarker & Zia-Ul Arefin Azme both are holds
20% of share. M.Tanvir Alam & Omar Khoyam Sony both holds 15% share. Rest of all
members is holds rest of the share equally.

  • 3. Executive Summary Nowadays people are very much fond of restaurant food for less time consuming and more taste. It is also popular among the people of our country. They always have this food in various occasions with their family and friends and someone have this food for daily basis for their work. For this reason they often went to restaurant which takes more time and loss their energy. To remove this hassle we decide that we take the order from the customer through online that is internet and delivery the ordered food to their house which make easier. So, with this initiative we have come forward to make a business plan which is on Online Restaurant and take initial steps to lunch this. We have named our business as ‘Friends Online Restaurant’. We have given this name because this idea is taken from our friends where we all together lunching this plan. Our main theme is to give home delivery to the customer from various restaurants they want and the category of the restaurant is chosen by us which taken from our survey. We think it has great potential in this type of food market industry. We have determined some factors that will help us to generate some revenues from the beginning of this business lunch. And we also have defined our competitor’s strategies so that we can compete with them. We have created a great opportunity for investors who seek new innovative business ideas and plans.

Business Philosophy Now-a-days a number people or people moving to the restaurant foods to have better foods as well as to take the unique test of various foods which are available at different corners of the world. So, different types of foreign and domestic restaurant companies set up their business in the Dhaka city as well as other small and big cities in our country. But the very few of the restaurants has the home delivery service so the peoples who are busy in his daily work they or the people who are wanting to have their food with their family member or those people wanted to serve their friends or family with unique restaurant food in a special ceremony, can’t have the food in their workplace or home or on the place of the occasion for this reason as well as for this reason the restaurant companies can’t increase their sales though they offer a large discount, variety of foods or testes. This reason is our main target of our business plan and our main philosophy to improve our business by delivering wide verity of restaurant’s food from famous restaurants in customer’s doorstep. This will be an online base service, which will help the customers to choose food by price or by food type or help the customers to order food by the name of the restaurant. The customers have to just select the food which he wanted to have and to provide the name and address in the online webpage and we shall be available with the food in just thirty minutes, it does not matters or will not base on the quantity of food. Our employee always ready serves our valuable customers on time. For some common reason and for our financial insufficiency it is now not possible for us to serve our customers which are living outside the Dhaka city.
  • 5. Service Description As we discussed in first business philosophy that we will serve our customers with delivering food which are available in restaurants in Dhaka city in just thirty munities. And the website of ours is developed in this way that without any kind of fed-up our customers can easily access the restaurant, the food menu and then he have to place his full name, address and telephone number. It is necessary for customers to know about the price of the food, so this will be remarked with every single food (the price of may be low or high on the basis brand image of restaurant). All teams and condition will be disclosed there will be no hidden charge and the customers may different food delivering charge on basis of his location in Dhaka city (which will also disclosed in website). After delivering food, if customers refuses his order he have pay some amount of the food as wells the full delivery charge. We are bound to give our customers a new type of online base restaurant experience from 8a.m. to 10p.m. Here is a snapshot of our restaurant website:
  • 6. Marketing Research Target Market Analysis: In this step we are find out to our target customer to whose customer are buy our product and how many people to buy our product. From the market survey it is noted that, both of male or female using the internet proportionately, but the male person are a little bit more using the internet. We can target both as our customer. If we select the place in Dhanmondi, Bonani, Mirpur and old Dhaka town then here only we select mid-level people and those people are educated and those people know about internet and buying thing over the internet. Like when we are survey in the market we find out that 20 to below 29 years older person using the internet randomly and Higher educate person are agreed to buy things through internet but it about double amount of college graduates are interested to buy products into online super shop. There are strong percentage of 20-29 age people and college graduate and post graduate people that’s why we select this place and people to our target customer. Competition: As we know people does know about online shopping and they think they will not get the actual product which they order online because this presentence is higher than others. The same strategy is followed by many companies so At the first stage in our country people don’t know about the online service but now people know about online service and how the business does. In online business system there are many competitors those are compete to our business, like online store, online super shop and there are also many people those are doing the business in online. In online market strategy here any people do this business but if we do business with the stable competitors here we must try to do any other strategy those are like people and we are stand in new market with stable competitors. Threat of new entrants: For this business entry barrier is not very high, as a result in that sense it is an unattractive segment. In food business new entrants are always available, but if we can build ours as a brand name and gain the major portion of the market share we will certainly be able to avoid the threat of the new entrants. Threat of Substitute Product: We are going to compete with the fast food. Fast food is available everywhere in Dhaka city. But it is not the real substitute product and for that reason this segment of market is pretty attractive.
  • 7. Service: There is some exception related to our service. We were mainly focusing on this because there some close competitors we have and also strong. So lf we want to make position of our service we have to make some uniqueness related to our service.  Home delivery of food within 30min.  Easy to access our website.  Online payment method.  Cash on delivery facility.  Original taste guaranteed.  Easy to use our website.  Dhaka’s most wanted restaurant food people can have in a single click.  Special discount on different types of festivals.  Food delivery on almost every occasion. Pricing Strategy The pricing strategy portion of the marketing plan involves determining how we will price our product or service; the price we charge has to be competitive but still allow us to make a reasonable profit. Our main profit comes from the discount of actual price of the restaurants food. We have contact with the target restaurant that they have to give us 10% discount on every food items. Sales and Distribution Plan: Delivery methods: Outline the distribution methods to be used.  Our delivery boy wills delivery our product within 30min in our fixed selected area. We are granted to deliver fresh food to them.  Then comes our delivery terms, after delivering food, if customers refuse his order he have pay some amount of the food as wells the full delivery charge.

Transaction process: Outline the transaction process between our business and your customers.  They can use online card payment system.  Cash on delivery.  Bikash payment method.  Bank cheque payment. Sales strategy: Firstly we will start our business in the Dhaka area. In these area mostly includes Dhanmondi, Bonani, Mirpur and old Dhaka town .If we are able to make satisfactory profit then we will try to cover the other area.We control our business by our group members and accountants, managers and financial officer are also from our group members. Advertising and Promotion Plan Our target market is from almost every level of the community. So our first choice is television advertisement. Because it is the most effective way to reach as many potential customer as possible and introduce ourselves in front of them visually. Then comes the online advertisement in different types of reputed website to know our potential customers about service. Newspaper is also another great source of media. It is the best media to explain the specialty of our product in less cost. Advertisement on FM Radio is another media to reach many potential customers. Organization and Personnel Plan The Ownership structure: This is a partnership business. Related person hold different amount of share of our company. Parvez Kamal Kaisan holds 24% of share. This is the major porton of share hold by an individual. Then Akash Ranga Sarker & Zia-Ul Arefin Azme both are holds 20% of share. M.Tanvir Alam & Omar Khoyam Sony both holds 15% share. Rest of all members is holds rest of the share equally.
