igh performance Vertical Thin Film with Vias (VTFV) dies in a new and more efficient packaging for harsh environment.
The LE UW U1A4, that belongs to OSTAR Headlamp Pro family, shows a breakdown voltage of 13.3V for a current of 1A (at 85°C) and delivers up to 1000 lumens at 5600K in a “20mm x 20mm” package. These performance are obtained due to a complex packaging and assembly process, completely described in this report.
Compared with the first generation of Osram’s packaged LED for exterior automotive headlamps, the new OSTAR Headlamp Pro comes with an enhanced design to increase the corrosion robustness and, for the first time, with a remote ceramic phosphor to increase efficiency.
This reverse costing report provides an estimation of the production cost of the LE UW U1A4. It describes the overall manufacturing process and highlights key points of innovation developed by OSRAM.

Cloud Foundry | How it works
- The Cloud Controller is responsible for providing the API interface and controlling application lifecycles. It receives application deployment requests from cf commands and works with the DEA to start and stop applications. It also controls creation of services.
- The Router receives "router.register" messages from components and directs traffic based on URL to the appropriate component instance(s). It acts as a load balancer.
- The DEA (Droplet Execution Agent) is where applications are run. It hosts application droplets/containers and monitors their health. The Health Manager monitors the health of DEAs.

During 2023 there’s been increasing discussion about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in qualitative research, spurred by widespread access to generative-AI technologies such as ChatGPT developed by OpenAI.
In this webinar Christina first recounts the history of AI in qualitative data analysis, outlining developments that far pre-date the current upsurge; including Qualrus, Discovertext, WordStat and QDA Miner, and Leximancer.
She’ll then outline how generative-AI is being used in qualitative data analysis at the moment, discussing three uses: chat bots alongside other analytic tools; integrations of OpenAI technology into already established Qualitative Software; and the rise of new generative-AI applications designed specifically for qualitative data analysis tasks.
Christina will open discussion about the implications of these developments for the practice of qualitative research. When are these tools appropriate? What do we need to know about them? What are the ethics of using them? What should we be cautious and excited about? How can the qualitative community shape their development?

In the next few years, the further development of social, educational and research networks – with its extensive collaborative possibilities – will be dictating how users will search for, manage and exchange information. The network – evolved by technology – is changing the user's behaviour and that will affect the future of information services. Many envision a possible leading role for libraries in collaboration and community building services.
Users are not only heavily using new tools, but are also creating and shaping their own preferred tools.
Today's students are incorporating Web 2.0 skills in daily life, in their social and learning environments.
Tomorrow's research staff will expect to be able to use their preferred tools and resources within their work environment.
Today's ánd tomorrow's libraries should support students and staff in the learning and research process by integrating library services and resources into their environments.
