The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.

Estas diretrizes visam melhorar a qualidade dos cuidados pós-natais essenciais e de rotina prestados às mulheres e aos recém-nascidos, com o objetivo final de melhorar a saúde e o bem-estar materno e neonatal.
Uma “experiência pós-natal positiva” é um resultado importante para todas as mulheres que dão à luz e para os seus recém-nascidos, estabelecendo as bases para a melhoria da saúde e do bem-estar a curto e longo prazo. Uma experiência pós-natal positiva é definida como aquela em que as mulheres, pessoas que gestam, os recém-nascidos, os casais, os pais, os cuidadores e as famílias recebem informação consistente, garantia e apoio de profissionais de saúde motivados; e onde um sistema de saúde flexível e com recursos reconheça as necessidades das mulheres e dos bebês e respeite o seu contexto cultural.
Estas diretrizes consolidadas apresentam algumas recomendações novas e já bem fundamentadas sobre cuidados pós-natais de rotina para mulheres e neonatos que recebem cuidados no pós-parto em unidades de saúde ou na comunidade, independentemente dos recursos disponíveis.

The audience for NME are similar to the audience that I have in that they listen to
the same kind of music which is indie rock. The audience also dress the same too
and have the same interests and hobbies. NME audience differ from my audience
with the age difference my magazine is aimed at more of teens late teens and NME
is more targeted at people in their twenties or their early thirties. From some of
the NME magazine that I have seen, the front covers can be very basic to put all the
emphasis on the artists, which is sort of similar to what I tried to do with my
magazine front cover. Where as some of their other magazines are full on with the
text making them look proffesional.
3. ROLLING STONES MAGAZINE
The readers for the rolling stones are similar to my readers in that they also have
the same taste in some of the music that my audience listen to, however rolling
stones magazine covers more then one genre like pop and R and B whereas mine
just covers indie rock. The reader for rolling stones have the same hobbies as my
readers do, as in they enjoy going out with friends and are very chill about the way
they live. From some of the rolling stones magazine that I have researched, ive
noticed that the front covers tend to have all kinds of different artists from different
genres, where as Fame and Fortune will only have indie rock and indie pop because
the audince that I have chosen for my magazine is very broad.

Q magazine readers share the same music interests as my audience do in that they
listen t similar music and favourite similar bands and artists to what my audience
take an interest to. From some of the magazine that I have researched the
magazine front covers are very different from each other every issue seems to be
different from the previous one which how my magazine will be also, if I was to
make another issue, it would be totally different from the previous one, giving my
magazine variety, because its appeals to a very broad audience, it would be wise to
make the front cover have various looking front covers.
