Yale College in 1761 and went on to study medicine. He was the first physician to
be a governor in Georgia. During his time as governor the British were just leaving

who would be the commander, while Brown refused to take orders from either since
he did not know what kind of navy he had: Continental or state. They made it to St.

retreated back into Florida. Howe also decided that enough had been done and headed

rebellion all into one book. A group of teenagers living in San Francisco become
prisoners of a terrorist attack investigation when they are arrested and brought to an
island by the Department of Homeland Security. They are treated awfully despite not
having committed a single crime. The main character, Marcus, deems it is in his
hands to take down the DHS and get revenge for what they ve done. The Bay Bridge
bombing and terrorist attack, the awful treatment of the characters by the DHS, and
Marcus good efforts to seek revenge, all have an impact on human nature. Doctorow s
novel shows how acts of conflictcan expose the cruelty of human nature as they can
inflict tremendous pain on the vulnerable, but sometimes they can even cause a
positive outcome. Organizing a terrorist attack reveals one s true human nature
simply by having created such a vicious and cruel conflict. Within the beginning of
the novel, the Bay Bridge in San Francisco was bombed and thousands of people got

Throughout this report, we will explore the potential relationship between the ten
predictor variables: age, sex, BMI, average blood pressure, and six blood serum
measurements (tc, ldl, hdl, tch, ltg, glu) on a quantitative measure of disease
progression one year after the baseline. There are 442 diabetes patients, or records in

bigger the penalty. We can review the coefficients, standard errors, t value, and the p

In the 1950 s, censorship was a major part of media coming out of World War II,
and into the Cold War era , America was scared of communism. Everything was
censored from radio and television to books and comics. Comic books had the
biggest attack by Dr Frederick Wertham, a German American psychiatrist in his book
Seduction of The Innocentpublished in 1954. He used fear to convince the public that
comics increased teen delinquency. He argued so well that congress stepped in and
had a subcommittee investigate the effects of comic books on delinquency. His
actions lead the industry to becoming nearly extinct. Being pressed in a difficult
situation the comic industry evolved, self regulated, regained popularity, and even
created social movements for positive reform. His research was fabricated to make it
more appealing to the fear of American society, and gain government trust using the
terms communism and delinquency in his reports, books, lectures, and testimonies.
Dr Wertham s word was respected in the psychological community. Unlike Senator
McCarthy whose communist crusade was taking place at the same time, Wertham
had research and experience backing his statements. His career in the U.S. started
in 1922 when he was offered a position at the psychiatric clinic at Johns Hopkins

Mass media has changed dramatically over the course of the last century. There have
been three major changes. Each of these changes has effected American culture. The
changes have taken place because of media convergence. These are the major
changes.
The first significant development in mass media was the paper stage (Campbell,
Martin, Fabos, 2016, ). During this phase, stories or messages were sent out
written, or typed on paper. That was the way that they reached the people. The
second stage of mass media was the Electronic Era. During this era, messages could
meet their match in an instant. People did not have to wait for it to be delivered
over time. The third development of mass media is the digital era. The digital era
includes images and sounds converted into an electronic signal (Campbell, Martin,
Fabos, 2016, ). Messages are being delivered faster than ever before. These are the
three significant developments in the last century.

The church I decided to study was St. Luke Presbyterian Church in Amarillo,
Texas. I selected this church because my best friend attends this church and I
sought to go out of my norm and learn more about my friend s religious
background. I normally attend the non denominational church of Trinity
Fellowship. I am considered to be a Conservative and my friend is a Liberal. Many
Presbyterian churches in Amarillo are liberal, but the majority of Presbyterian
churches are known to be conservative because of their beliefs. I assumed it would
be interesting to visit this church due to the fact it would help me to keep an open
mind of how people worship and have different beliefs than I do. St. Luke
Presbyterian Church was a relaxed church. Presbyterian churches abide by the

Church members that attended the service were dressed from casual pants to
dresses and suits. The church setting was considered to be a small, local church
with roughly about 30 rows of pews. The choir included 15 women and a teenage
