George Orwell works as the police subdivision of Moulmein, a city in the British
colony of Burma. Because he is, like the rest of the English, a military occupier, he
is hated by much of the village. Although the Burmese never carry out a complete
revolt, they express their displeasure by harassing Europeans at every opportunity.
He works in the management of miserable prisoners gives him a close up view of
the dirty work of Europe and makes him feel guilty for his role in colonialism. He has
yet to understand that the British Empire is decreasing deteriorating, and will soon
be replaced by even worse regimes. This conflicting mentality is typical of officers in

believe best represents their values and beliefs. But who organizes the candidates?
What are they affiliated with? The answer is political parties. A political party is
an organization of people who share the same views about the way power should
be used in a country or a society . It is typically accepted that political parties in
america serve four functions. The first being that they selected candidates who best
represent them to run for office. The second is they mobilize voters and convince
these voters to vote for their selected candidates. Third, they facilitate governance by
bringing some sort of order to the process of lawmaking. And finally fourth, they

segregated by race and economics. Settlement patterns tend to show that people prefer
settling with others that display similar outward traits, usually physical characteristics
that can be recognized at first glance. Here, race again plays an important role in
community poverty. Many communities create disadvantages for minorities based on
the population and location. In the study, a white woman, her children, and her
partner are evicted from the predominantly white trailer park. Upon eviction, the
couple apply to multiple rental agencies and private apartment complexes with little
luck because many property owners do not want the burden of children living in
their complexes. As the couple become desperate, the woman considers finding a
place in the black ghetto community because prices are much cheaper and there are

possible in all social and economic classes, ethnic groups, jobs and places in the
community. Through this study I hope to clarify the common misconception that
sexual harassment is an isolated female problem. Although the majority of the cases
reported are in fact male on female offenses, sexual harassment is not gender specific.
Cases have been reported based on female on male harassment, as well as same
gender harassment. Sexual harassment is a growing epidemic that can be controlled
though proper enforcement of company polices and regulations.
Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
Sexual harassment in the work place can be defined, as a form of sexual
discrimination that involves unwanted sexual advances, requests for sexual favors,
and verbal or physical conduct sexual in nature capable of creating a hostile work
environment. The harasser can be the victim s supervisor, a supervisor in another
area, a co worker, or someone who is not an employee of the employer, such as a
client or customer. The reason for my study is to inform and educate the public on

An issue that I tried to ignore through the play but soon became very trouble sum
for me was the continuous singing that would occur either by the girl group or
Seymour. I believe Act I was much stronger and more enjoyable overall than Act II.

Description of Theory In 1993, Beck published a middle range theory on postpartum
depression, entitled Teetering on the Edge. Beck, (1993, p. 44) which describes
walking on a fine line between sanity and insanity . Beck determined a limited
amount of qualitative research available and few instruments for measurement of
postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis, and maternity blues . Beck
interviewed 12 women for 18 months detailed their experiences, and determined the
main perceived problem was a loss of control (Beck, 1993). Beck s theory is one that
is centered in phenomenology and produced a concise and testable theory (Marsh,
2013).
Loss of control is broken down into four stages: encountering terror, dying of self,
struggling to survive, and regaining control (Beck, 1993). Beck, 2002, has
developed two screening tools (Postpartum Depression Screening Scale and
Postpartum Depression Inventory System) to evaluate risk factors and symptoms.
Encountering terror is an initial response to feeling out of control, described as
being trapped with no means of escape (Beck, 1993). Stage II is highlighted by a
reported feeling of loss of former self and feeling internally void of caring or
emotion, likened to that of a robot (Beck,1993). Struggling to survive is recognized
by the inability to carry on activities of daily living, including eating and bathing.

immediately report to Cathy Elwell s room after signing in. I typically arrive
before her morning fourth grade group departs; however, I do not work with these
