This document outlines the content and schedule for the Language and Literature class at Colegio Las Cumbres for senior year students. Over the course of the school year, students will study poems, narratives, and essays. They will analyze literary devices, vocabulary, and the themes of war and social protest. Students will practice different writing styles like descriptive, narrative, and argumentative essays between 600-900 words. They will also study the work of poets like Seamus Heaney. The goal is for students to understand texts deeply and write longer essays and narratives by the end of the third trimester.
