  • 1. The darkness of the Background suggests death The use of the Scream and emptiness. mask suggests death as this mask is highly recognised around the world. Because Scream is a globally recognised horror film. The font of the poster is ridged and the ‘M’ is pointy suggesting maybe stabbings. The use of red writing on the poster and the scream mask suggests that the I would have expected movie is a horror movie. there to be a cast list or the logo of the film This poster creates a sense of mystery as there is not much company that are given away on the poster. And also the writing “New producing it. decade. New Rules” suggests that the fans of the Scream movies will be surprised and that there is going to be change in the franchise. This creates enigma for the fans.
