This presentation discusses rotifers and acanthocephalans. It is presented by 5 students and discusses the body structure, nervous system, feeding, and life cycle of rotifers. Rotifers are microscopic pseudocoelomate animals found in freshwater environments and soil. The presentation then discusses acanthocephalans, which are parasitic worms with a proboscis used to pierce hosts' guts. Their life cycles involve at least two hosts and they have up to 1420 species. It describes their physical and morphological characteristics, digestion, proboscis, size, skin, nervous system, and life cycle.
