Romantic Love Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of romantic love poses a unique set of challenges. Delving into
the complexities of human emotions, relationships, and the intricate dance of hearts requires a
delicate balance of personal reflection, scholarly analysis, and creative expression. The challenge
lies not only in exploring the universal aspects of love but also in presenting fresh perspectives
that engage and captivate the reader.
One difficulty arises from the vastness of the topic itself. Romantic love encompasses a wide
array of emotions, experiences, and cultural nuances, making it a challenge to condense such
richness into a coherent and impactful essay. Striking the right balance between general concepts
and specific examples, as well as considering various cultural and historical dimensions, adds
another layer of complexity.
Furthermore, the subject demands a nuanced exploration of both the exhilarating highs and the
challenging lows of romantic relationships. Navigating the fine line between idealization and
realism requires a thoughtful approach to avoid oversimplification or clichГ©s. A successful
essay on romantic love should not merely recount common tropes but should offer a nuanced
and insightful analysis that resonates with the reader on a deeper level.
Developing a compelling thesis that captures the essence of romantic love without
oversimplifying or trivializing its intricacies is yet another obstacle. Striving for originality while
addressing fundamental aspects of the topic poses a creative challenge that requires a thorough
understanding of existing literature and a keen sense of literary finesse.
In conclusion, writing an essay on romantic love involves navigating a labyrinth of emotions,
cultural influences, and personal reflections. It demands a careful balance between the universal
and the unique, the idealized and the realistic. Despite these challenges, the opportunity to
explore the profound and multifaceted nature of romantic love can be a rewarding endeavor for
those willing to undertake the journey.

Important Factors To Build A Monument Analysis
How can one consider size, materials, and location of equal importance in the creation
of monument, when the location determines how many people will view the
monument and whether the monument is respectful to the event or person it
represents? Although it is important to consider the materials and size when a
monumentwill be created to memorialize a person or event, the most important factor
to be considered in the creation of a memorialis the location because in order for a
monument to be seen, it must be placed in an adequate location.
The most important factor in the creation of a monument is the location. The location
is essential in the creation of a monument because only monuments placed in well
known places will be seen. For example, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In order to build a monument, materials are needed and the size needs to be
determined to figure out the amount of materials needed. Source G claims that
materials are an important factor to consider in the creation of a monument. Maya
Lin, the designer of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C put an
emphasis on materials in the creation of the monument. Lin used black granite to
make the monument reflective and peaceful. The mirrored effect made the park look
doubled in size, which made it appear as though there were two worlds to resemble
the unity between the nation s past and present. The use of carefully chosen materials
and the illusion of size made the Vietnam Veterans Memorial convey an important
message. Although I grant that materials and size are important factors to be
considered in the creation of a monument, I still maintain that location is the most
important factor to be considered in the creation of a monument. The Vietnam
Veterans Memorial was placed in a well known beautiful park surrounded by trees,
which is why many people were able to view and admire the monument. The location
of the monument set its shape. The Lincoln Memorial and Washington Memorial
were already at that location, which were both important aspects of the Vietnam
Veterans Monument. Two walls of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial were placed so
one pointed at the Lincoln Memorial and the other was pointed at the Washington
Memorial. The link between these two strong symbols conveyed the message of unity
between the nation s past and present. The careful considerations about the
monuments location allowed the monument to convey an important message that is
viewed and admired by many. If the monument was placed in an obscure non
picturesque location, no one would be able marvel over the
Essay On Bitcoins
Guide For Bitcoin Gambling Websites Bitcoins are increasing in popularity as a
banking option with US gamblers and gambling websites. In some cases, Bitcoins
is actually the best banking option on the market for US players. Gamblers from
other countries should also seriously consider using Bitcoins for their gambling
purposes. If you are a newbie to bitcoins, this guide is for you. Bitcoins operate
slightly differently from other currencies and those differences will be explained
on this page. Even if you are familiar with how bitcoins work, you will also find
some useful info here. If you are currently using Bitcoins, we will examine the best

Every 10 minutes a block of Bitcoins are created. Initially, one block contained 25
Bitcoins, but since last year that has been reduced by 50%, with each block now
containing 12.5 Bitcoins. Bitcoin blocks will be periodically cut in half on a
continual basis until 21 million Bitcoins are mined, which is expected to happen
by 2040. Bitcoin s value, similar to other currencies, is determined by supply and
demand. One Bitcoin is valued at $824 as of the writing of this guide, but in the
past, they have reached values over $1,000. When they first came out in 2009, for
only $27, you could purchase 5,000 Bitcoins. If you are using Bitcoins as an
investment vehicle, it should be noted that they are volatile. You should only use a
small portion of your discretionary investment money to invest in Bitcoins at this
time. When we say volatile, what do we mean? The value of Bitcoins can fluctuate
drastically and often without reason. How volatile can they be? The price of a
Bitcoin plummeted 50% overnight in 2009. Keep in mind that the value of Bitcoins
can fluctuate when making deposits or withdrawals at gambling websites. In some
cases, that could give you extra funds for gambling. When you decide to convert
Bitcoins into a different currency might also be a gamble on its own. Best Places To

Literary Analysis Of Godwin s A Sorrowful Woman
Can we eat turkey for supper? the boy asked. In one line Godwin presents a reader
with enough levels of complexity to easily fill an entire essay; why is one of the
most prominent characters (and the son of the main character referred to as the
boy ? Does his focus on the tuckey emphasize his love of the idea and duties of a
mother, as opposed to the actual person? Yet all of these quarries pale in
comparison to an analysis of the text preceding this small quote. The end of
Godwin s A Sorrowful Woman demonstrates the power of rhetoric, contrast, and
detached narration in creating the text s message that the archetypal role of
mother and wife is so constricting and limiting to cause the mother to end her life.
Word choice proves one of the more fascinating aspects of Godwin s text,
specifically her use of repetition emphasize relevant details that may have
otherwise gone unnoticed. The most prominent example of this comes in the two
hand knitted sweaters (both of the same gray color) As a stand alone quote, no one
word stands out. Yet in the beginning of the text the child s gray eyes are
referenced, in conjunction with The shirt was the gray of the child s trusting gaze.
The continuation of the gray motif of the text highlights a few key details. First,
gray is used with some frequency in literature to act as a symbol for depression, and
even beyond the realm of literature Professors from the University of Manchester
have recently developed a color chart
My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Throughout the semester, we have been introduced to many topics related to
interpersonal communication. I have come to believe that these concepts have
allowed me to better understand interactions that occur in our daily lives. My
knowledge of these concepts was challenged when asked to relate these notions to a
movie. During the time that I was watching the movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding,
I realized myself grasping onto what was going on and being able to relate certain
scenes and situations to topics I had previously learned about. Interactions in My Big
Fat Greek Wedding display concepts of conflict and politeness theory, which can be
pointed out in a few specific scenes.
During the movie, I found that these concepts that were ... Show more content on

Without taking this class, one would already know that an argument, or conflict, is
started because two people want different things, or have incompatible goals.
However, one might not know about the guidelines people can follow in order to
prevent the conflict from getting worse, or to prevent an argument entirely. After
learning about these guidelines, it is easier to notice and pay attention to arguments
more, and point out when some of these guidelines should be used.
The second topic that is portrayed in the movie is the politeness theory. To begin
explaining what it entails, a term that plays an important role in the politeness
theory will be defined, and that is Face. Face is an image or identity we enact in
our interactions with other people (Goldsmith, p.26). Erving Goffman, a
sociologist, defined face as the positive social value a person effectively claims for
himself [or herself] by the line others assume he [or she] has taken during a
particular contact. Face is an image of self delineated in terms of approved social
attributes (Goldsmith, p.26). Losing or saving face has to do with our ability to
stay in character and behave in a way that fits with expectations for our role. Some
ways of losing face have to do with basic violations of civilized behavior (Goldsmith,
p.26). There are also two aspects of face to which are negative face and positive
face. Negative face is the want to be unimpeded, to have certain rights not to be

The Triumph of Les MisГ©rables Essays
The Triumph of Les MisГ©rables
Les MisГ©rables (1862), a novel set in early nineteenth century France, presents a
story of obsessions in honor, love, and duty, and through it redemption and
salvation. It is the story of the poor Jean Valjean, condemned to an unfair amount of
time in prison and a life on the run for stealing a loaf of bread for his starving family.
The kind act of forgiveness from a Bishop with whom Jean Valjean stays one night,
changes the course in which he chooses to live his life. Under a different identity, he
becomes wealthy from a business he starts and later is elected mayor of the small
town of Montreuil. He falls madly in love with Fantine, one of the workers in his
factory. Because Fantine, one of the very ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Even though the character s fate is leading them to lives of misery, their obsession
to have a perfectly complete and happy life in their eyes is prevailing. In Victor Hugo
s novel Les MisГ©rables he uses the character s obsession to portray the hardships
people are willing to endure to obtain what they truly desire in their lives.
Jean Valjean, the main character of the book, has two obsessions throughout the
novel; living by the Bishop s word (becoming a man of God s will,) and protecting
and raising Cosette away from the evils of the world. In the beginning of the story,
Jean Valjean can not find anyone to take him in for the night. Because he is a
convict, marked by a yellow passport, the Bishop s home is the only door open to
him. A convict may leave the galleys behind, but not his condemnation (26).
Despite the Bishop s kindness, during the night Jean Valjean steals all of the silver
from the house and flees the town. Not far from the Bishop s house, Jean Valjean
is captured and returned to the Bishop, who tells the police he gave the silver to
the convict. Once the police excuse themselves, the Bishop says, Jean Valjean,
never forget that you have promised me to use this silver to become an honest man
. . . . You belong no longer to evil, but to good. It is your soul that I am buying for
you. I give it to God! (33). From that moment on, Jean Valjean dedicates his life to
helping the misfortunate and vows to never again commit an act of
Genera General Dentistry
Teeth are the one part of your body which cannot heal itself. Oral health is an
important and indispensable part of your general health and requires routine check
up. General dentistry in New York City has got a name for itself. It caters to the
needs of the patients and treats them sensitively. There are a lot of oral issues
coming up these days because of the kind of food that we eat and the neglect
towards dental care due to lack of time. So, there is a need for regular visits to the
dentists. By definition, general dentistrywould include diagnosis, treatment and
management of overall healthcare needs including fillings, root canal, crowns,
bridges and veneer and preventive education. Most of the dental school students start

Majorly it is about preventive maintenance. The dentists request for routine check ups
because that is the only way to prevent decay or other problems. Sometimes, the
dentists can tell beforehand that there is some issue with a particular teeth or there is a
problem in the gum. Under such circumstances, you should take the expert s advice
and get done with the preventive measures. Temporarily, prevention is better than
cure. For example, a timely cleaning of the teeth can save you a lot of trouble.
However, at times, preventive measure is not enough and hence, the general dentist
people can take recourse to restorative dental care. Restoration would mean
rebuilding something. Restorative measures would include the cure and repair of
damaged or diseased teeth. Examples would include crowns and root canals. Root
canal is the painless removal of an infected portion positioned at the root of your
teeth. Root canal is an effective means of fixing your tooth without losing its natural

Humanism In Art
Art: the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically
in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated
primarily for their beauty or emotional power (Stevenson Lindberg, 2010). Art takes
many forms, such as paintings, drawings, sculptures, and collages, and within each
form exists different genres or classifications. The early history of art, or art created
within the fourteenth to nineteenth centuries, can fall into five major periods:
Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Romanticism, and Realism. The first of the five
major art periods, the Renaissance period, occurred between the thirteenth and
sixteenth centuries and started within Florence, Italy. It later spread throughout the
rest of Europe. Renaissance art, aimed at rebirthing classical culture, contains
defining characteristics such as the theme of humanism, a more realistic portrayal of
subjects due to advances in perspective, and depictions of prominent religious
figures (Magic Web Solutions UK, 2015). In regards to the birth of humanism in art,
There is now little doubt that the desire to render human likenesses in specific, rather
than generalized or idealized, terms began in Italy in the thirteenth century (Grassi,
2011). Additionally, art often took the form of oil paintings on canvas or plaster and
statues typically crafted from marble and bronze. Some of the most well known
artists of this time include Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Sandro
Internal And External Auditing Audit Essay
According to Kieso, Weygandt, and Warfield (2013), an auditor is an accounting
professional who conducts an independent examination of a company s accounting
data (p. 1508). In other words, auditors are independent agents that ensure the
accuracy of financial statements. Although internal and external auditors play
different roles with an organization, they must follow auditingstandards and
procedures to detect fraud.
In 1941, The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) was founded to provide guidance to
internal auditors (Whittington Pany, 2014). With over 170,000 international
members, the IIA has paralleled the recognition of internal auditing as an essential
control function in all types of businesses (Whittington Pany, 2014, p. 778). In the
United States, nearly every large corporation maintains a staff of internal auditors
(usually employees and not independent contractors) to identify theft, waste, and
fraud (O Donnell, 2015; Whittington Pany, 2014). Besides examining the financial
statements, internal auditors also analyze the internal control of organizations (O
Donnell, 2015). That is, they are responsible for enhancing a company s operations.
For instance, internal auditors may evaluate the risk to a corporation s reputation if
they use low wage workers in third world countries (O Donnell, 2015). In addition,
they may investigate why products are getting overproduced compared to the
available resources or inspect the quality of the finished
Hamlet Asymmetrical Warfare Essay
Shakespeare in Hamlet wrote, by indirection finds direction out. Although used in
a different, the quote directly relates to the principle of asymmetric warfare.
Andrew J. Mack first used a name for this tactic of war in his 1975 book, Why Big
Nations Lose Small Wars. Asymmetric simply means that two sides are not the
same. This type of warfare can be used between groups of people or countries. Just
like any war, the motivation can be economic, religious, or political. Asymmetrical
warfare is usually exemplified in long, drawn out wars, rather than short battles. More
small groups are turning to this idea, making the world more uncertain, unstable, and
difficult to anticipate. (Grange)

Asymmetrical warfare is an umbrella term that describes the same type of manners.
The modern pirates of Malaysia, Nigeria, and Somalia use asymmetrical warfare
tactics to carry out their robberies. Admiral Arun Prakash also sees the similarities
between land terrorist that demonstrate this type of warfare and the rise of piracy in
the twenty first century. He claims as things get hotter for the terrorists on land...its
quite logical that they will move seaward. Terrorismis defined as premeditated,
politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombat targets by subnational
groups or clandestine agents, according to the United States (Winn and Govern). The
difference right now between terrorists on land and on the sea is the amount of media
recognition the land terrorists receive compared to the pirates. The public is simply
unaware of the maritime side of this issue. Pirates demonstrate terrorism when the
crews of innocent ships are killed so that the pirates will not be caught and tried. The
United States Transportation Security Administration even realizes piracy is upon us
because of their belief that the September 11th attacks could just as easily be done
through maritime means, rather than in air if a bomb pulls into a major harbor.
Although pirates and terrorists have separate motives, both demonstrate asymmetrical
warfare and must be
Dignity In The Power Of The Zoot, By Luis Alvarez
The Power of the Zoot by Luis Alvarez examines the zoot culture within Los Angeles
and New York. Alvarez argues that underrepresented groups participated in the zoot
culture to acquire dignity during the Second World War (Alvarez, 10). The first
segment depicts the increasing economic opportunity for underrepresented groups
and their unceasing experience with unemployment or discrimination. Additionally,
the American public attempted to restrain the youth by associating the zoot culture
with nefarious qualities. Mexican Americans, African Americans, and Asian
Americans utilized contemporary fashion, language, and public venues to assert their
identities. Moreover, those who participated in the zoot culture challenged the
traditional archetype of masculinity and whiteness (Alvarez, 104). Lastly, Alvarez

His evaluation of the zoot culture and the riots across the United States is largely
deduced from primary sources. This includes If He Hollers Let Him Go by Chester
Himes, oral interviews, photographs, and documentation on the Mexican American
experience. Furthermore, Alvarez incorporates historian analysis, excerpts of lyrics,
and demographics from the United States Bureau of the Census. More importantly,
his interpretation of the zoot culture conveys the significance of dignity and identity
within Los Angeles and New York. American society associated delinquent behavior
to zoot culture and several underrepresented groups. These underrepresented groups
continued to experience discrimination through employment and their daily lives
(Alvarez, 10). Consequently, Mexican Americans or African Americans sought
acknowledgement within a constructed culture or group. The zoot culture provided
recognition, a venue for integrated gatherings, trends for consumption, and the ability
to confront conventional social

At the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History there is an exhibit
called Eternal Life in Ancient Egypt . This exhibit focuses on Egypt s past with
important and interesting artifacts related to burial techniques and religious
beliefs. The most simple answer to why it is important to understand the way
people lived in the past is that we can t truly know ourselves until we understand
where we came from. This essay will analyze the exhibit to show what it s telling
us and why it is so important. To start, a main focus in the exhibit is the Egyptians
old burial rituals. It is widely known that the Egyptians used to mummify the dead.
The exhibit not only displays these mummies, but it also displays what they were
buried with. The objects buried in the tomb with the body are known to be for the
afterlife of the person who is buried. These objects in the exhibit, along with the
mummy and it s sarcophagus, included vessels for food and water, canopic jars for
the organs of the mummy, along with jewelry and figurines of the gods and
goddesses of Egypt. Also, the plaques on the inside of the exhibit s walls read
descriptions of ancient Egyptian beliefs and why some of the goods were buried with
the mummy. This can help visitors understand the way of life in ancient Egyptby
putting out these finds for everyone to learn from. The information on burial rituals
and objects shown on display depict Egypt s ancient religious beliefs and how the
afterlife worked.

Hurricane Katrina Simulation
Hurricane Katrina was a devastating disaster that has affected many people in New
Orleans as well as the surrounding areas. It had a stunning death toll of 1300 people
and damage over $100 billion ( Davlasheridze 94 ). The communication were taken
down hours after Katrina because of the unexpected fast winds and floods that broke
down 3 million phone lines and 1,000 cellular towers in Louisiana, Mississippi and
Alabama. ( Joch ). Because of the millions of phone lines that were battered,
contacting the government for help was difficult hours after hurricane Katrina. Not
only that, the people of New Orleans underestimated the power of Hurricane
Katrina causing many to be stranded with no food or water ( Narrator, The Storm
,PBS ). Before Hurricane Katrina, a simulation called Hurricane Pam was created
to prepare for a disaster like Katrina. It was the perfect model of what happened in
Katrina ( Maestri, The Storm ). The purpose of it was to prepare the people
(government) in what is needed during a real hurricane. Unfortunately, Before they
could finish the exercise, FEMA s funding for the simulation was cut before it was
completed causing the simulation to be canceled. The reason why Hurricane Pam
was unsuccessful because Medical care for hurricane victims was not yet
finalized, communication systems were not addressed at all, and key
transportation decisions were left to be determined ( Narrator, The Storm , PBS ).
If the simulation were to be completed, the disaster of Hurricane Katrina could ve
been solved with a prepared plan to help many in New Orleans. Over the years of
Hurricane Katrina, FEMA faced many criticisms. Not only FEMA, but every level
of government was roundly criticized ( Howellq ). Back in 9/11, They acted fast
and accordingly to the disaster. During hurricane Katrina, they were slow and had
false promises that the locals of New Orleans believed ( Maestri, The Storm , PBS
). Many people asked FEMA for resources and help, but that turned down because
they did not ask the right way ( Hale The Storm , PBS). During an interview with
one of FEMA s secretaries, Michael Brown , had claimed that FEMA could not help

It is the responsibility of Health Care Practitioners to stay abreast of the latest
research, while enhancing research skills, ensuring the most current evidence based

This paper will explore the development of research techniques and the tools
available to establish the factors that increase the risk of preterm birth amongst the
Indigenous women of Australia, with a particular focus in rural areas.
1. Throughout the Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Queensland, several

Australian Aboriginal* or Australian Indigenous or Torres Strait Islander*
Unfortunately, this search did not produce any results, I then extended my search to
include the Medline database which produced three articles, one of which did not
appear to address the issues of preterm birth in

Literature survey is the most important step in software development process. Before
developing the tool it is necessary to determine the time factor, economy and
company strength. Once these things are satisfied, then next steps are to determine
which operating system and language can be used for developing the tool. Once the
programmers start building the tool the programmers need lot of external support.
This support can be obtained from senior programmers, from book or from websites.
Before building the system the above consideration are taken into account for
developing the proposed system. TITLE: Compressive Sensing Over Networks In

We propose a modularized decoder providing a trade off between the capacity loss
and the decoding complexity. At the receiver side, first, we use a compressive
sensing decoder on a noisy signal to obtain a noisy estimate of the original signal
and then, we apply a traditional channel coding decoder to find the original signal.
TITLE: Compressive Data Gathering for Large Scale Wireless Sensor Networks
This system presents the first complete design to apply compressive sampling
theory to sensor data gathering for large scale wireless sensor networks. The
successful scheme developed in this research is expected to offer fresh frame of
mind for research in both compressive sampling applications and large scale
wireless sensor networks. We consider the scenario in which a large number of
sensor nodes are densely deployed and sensor readings are spatially correlated. The
proposed compressive data gathering is able to reduce global scale communication
cost without introducing intensive computation or complicated transmission control.
The load balancing characteristic is capable of extending the lifetime of the entire
sensor network as well as individual sensors. Furthermore, the proposed scheme can
cope with abnormal sensor readings gracefully. We also carry out the analysis of the
network capacity of the proposed compressive data gathering and validate the analysis
through ns 2 simulations. More importantly, this novel compressive data gathering
has been tested on
European Transplantation History
Physicians explored the idea of transplantation as early as the European Renaissance
(1300s 1600s). During that era, they found that they could take tissues from one part
of a person s body and graft them surgically attach them to a damaged site. There
were some cases where transplants between two people did not work. Doctors and
scientists continued experiments with animals, making important medical advances
as they went along. About the year 1900, doctors discovered that there were three
major blood groups: A, B, and O. For a successful blood transfusion, or transfer
between two individuals, the donor s blood type must match the recipient s type. The
first successful kidneytransplant was performed by surgeon Joseph E. Murray, in
1954.
Maintaining Records And Reports Essay
Understanding How To Maintain Records And Reports Records and reports are a
legal requirement. In the setting you will have to maintain a range of records and
reports to promote and support health and safety. Accuracy and Coherence All the
information in the setting about children, their families and staff is confidential.
Parents, carers and staff have a right to know what information is being held about
them and how it will be used. All staff working in the setting have a duty of care to
obtain information with regard to the rights of individuals and to not share
information without consent. Any personal information you gather about the
children must be accurate and up to date if it is to be of use in protecting their health
and safety... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although the act is clear on how data can or cannot be used, consent does not have
to be given before passing on information if there are concerns that a child may be
been abused. However, confidentiality must still be observed and information must
only be passed to those who need to know, such as the professional with child
protection responsibility in the setting and in social services. A lot of the personal
and sensitive information kept about children needs to be easily accessible as it is
in constant use. For example, care plans need to be referred to frequently. Even so,
this information must be kept secure and never left around the setting for others to
read. If information is left around this will break down the trust between parent and
setting, making parents less willing to share information, this could put children at
risk. The principles in the 1998 act do not state how data is to be kept, just it must
be safe and secure. The setting s policies and procedures set out how this will be
done. Written records must be kept in locked, hard to access cabinets. Today a lot
of confidential information is kept electronically, so safe, password protected
systems are vital for accessing or passing on information. *Information taken from

Reasons To Abolish The Penny
When talking about the penny there are two very distinct separate sides, one that
says to get rid of the penny and one that says to keep it. People arguing to get rid of
the penny say that it costs to much to make and we would be better off without it.
While people rooting for the penny say that doing away with it would cause tons
of problems with rounding. Personally I think that we as a county need to abolish
the penny and I will show you why. One reason to abolish the penny is that we will
get a boost in the economy due to large amounts, of now free to spend cash. In his
article Keinsley explains what the U.S is losing from producing then selling pennies
in just one year: The US government generated $58 million in seigniorage from the
Elderly Refresher Drivers
In 2014, An 86 year old man drove his automobile into a crowded farmer s market
in Santa Monica, California, killing ten people (iihs.org). You re probably thinking
what a horrible thing to do . Actually, he didn t anticipate for this to happen.
Because he was elderly, he was not capable to drive safely. Deterioration in vision and
the ability to logically reason and remember, as well as the rise of physical
challenges such as arthritis and reduced strength is most common in people aged
75 and older. Elders can not drive as well as they did years ago, even if they might
think so. If we want to prevent more than 40% of car accidents, elders should retake
their driver s test every two years to make sure that they can still drive safely.

Some problems are arthritis, heart disease, types of cancer, respiratory disease,
Alzheimer s disease, dementia, and depression (cancer.net). All of these symptoms
can change how they drive and is the main reason why they get into car accidents.
Mrs. Simon, a 67 year old woman with Type II diabetes mellitus and hypertension,
mentions during a routine check up that she hit a stop sign while making a right
hand turn in her car two weeks ago. (New.BBC) Although she was uninjured, she
has felt anxious about driving since that episode. Aging itself usually results in a
gradual and subtle decline in strength, coordination, reaction time, ability to
concentrate, and hearing. Donald Redelmeier, a doctor and scientist at Sunnybrook
Hospital Said, How the individual driver is compensating for changes in physical
or cognitive function should be taken into account. Reaction time is one of the
most important requirements for driving because in any circumstance where they
come close to an accident they need to react quickly to swerve out of the way or hit
the breaks. In every case, the elderly driver told police that he or she confused the
gas and brake pedals. This case is a mixture of dementia and reaction time. When
people get older they tend to forget more, both long term or short term. Driving is a

Inheritance
Inheritance between classes
A key feature of C++ classes is inheritance. Inheritance allows to create classes
which are derived from other classes, so that they automatically include some of its
parent s members, plus its own. For example, we are going to suppose that we
want to declare a series of classes that describe polygons like our CRectangle, or like
CTriangle. They have certain common properties, such as both can be described by
means of only two sides: height and base.
This could be represented in the world of classes with a class CPolygon from which
we would derive the two other ones: CRectangle and CTriangle.
The class CPolygon would contain members that are common for both types of
polygon. In our case: width and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
}|
This public keyword after the colon (:) denotes the most accessible level the
members inherited from the class that follows it (in this case CPolygon) will have.
Since public is the most accessible level, by specifying this keyword the derived
class will inherit all the members with the same levels they had in the base class.
If we specify a more restrictive access level like protected, all public members of the
base class are inherited as protected in the derived class. Whereas if we specify the
most restricting of all access levels: private, all the base class members are inherited
as private.
For example, if daughter was a class derived from mother that we defined as: | class
daughter: protected mother;|
This would set protected as the maximum access level for the members of daughter
that it inherited from mother. That is, all members that were public in mother would
become protected indaughter. Of course, this would not restrict daughter to declare
its own public members. That maximum access level is only set for the members
inherited from mother.
If we do not explicitly specify any access level for the inheritance, the compiler
assumes private for classes declared with class keyword and public for those declared
with struct.
What is inherited from the base class?
In principle, a
Religion And Philosophy During The Hellenistic Era
Religion and Philosophy were very important during the Hellenistic era due to the
mixing of people. When new cities were built by Hellenistic kings, temples were
also built honoring the old Olympian gods of Greece. Religious groups sponsored
literary, musical, and athletic contests (McKay et al, Western Society, 107). The
festivals were both intellectual and physical. I think these events helped shape
everyday life by allowing people to get involved. The people were able to get
together and have fun as well as praise their gods during the festivals. Philosophy
was more for the educated and wealthy people during the Hellenistic era. One
important philosophy from this time was Stoicism. Stoicism was taught by a man

AN INVESTIGATION OF CUSTOMER S PERCEPTION AND EXPECTATION OF
SERVICES IN PENSION FUND ADMINISTRATION (PFA) IN NIGERIA
(A STUDY OF PFA CUSTOMERS IN ENUGU)
CHAPTER ONE
INTRODUCTION
1. Background Of The Study
In the current competitive environment, satisfying customers has emerged as the
primary challenge for many service companies. Emerging technologies, rising and
ever changing customer expectations has significantly narrowed the quality gaps,
thus thrusting customer satisfaction into a preeminent role in achieving a sustainable
competitive advantage. Service quality is clearly essential for organizational success
and is typically defined in relation to exceeding customer expectations (Humprey,
2004). Customer perceives services ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
1.3Objective of the Study
The major objective of this research paper is to examine service quality from the
perspective of consumers expectations of the quality of service delivery contrasted
with the perceptions of the actual service delivery in pension fund administration
within Enugu state.
The specific objectives includes 1. To determine the nature of the pension services. 2.
To test the reliability of the SERVQUAL instrument in pension service. 3. To gain
some insight and understanding into the dimensions of service quality customers
consider more important in determining satisfaction. 4. To ascertain and test the
direction of the causal relationship between customer satisfaction and service quality.
5. To recommend strategy for influencing customer perceptions and closing the
customer gap.
1.4Conceptual Framework
The framework for this research is premised on the expectancy disconfirmation
paradigm (Oliver 1980; Parasuraman, Zeithaml and Berry 1988, 1994 and Gronroos
1994) and the expectancy disconfirmation comparison judgment as determinants of
customer satisfaction and perceived service quality. Consumers evaluation of service
quality is a function of the magnitude and direction of the gap between the customer s
expectations of services and customer s assessment (perception) of the service
actually delivered.
Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Essay
Introduction
Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is a surgery that is done when arteries of
the heart have become narrow or blocked. This is usually caused by the buildup of
fat called plaques. These arteries give the heart the oxygen and nutrients it needs to
pump blood to your body.
During CABG, a section of blood vessel from another part of the body is taken.
This section is called a graft. The graft is placed where there is narrowing or blocking.

The breastbone will be spread open so your heart can be seen.
You may be placed on a heart lung bypass machine. This machine will give oxygen
to your blood while your heart is being worked on.
If a heart lung bypass machine is needed, your heart will be briefly stopped.
A section of a blood vessel will be taken from another part of your body. It is usually
taken from the chest, arm, or leg. It will be used to go around (bypass) the blocked
arteries of your heart.
You will be taken off the heart lung machine if it was used.
If your heart was stopped, it will be restarted.
Your chest will be closed.
A bandage (dressing) will be placed over the cuts.
Tubes will stay in your chest. They will be connected to a suction device. The device
will help drain fluid and reinflate the lungs.
The procedure may vary among doctors and hospitals.
What happens after the procedure?
Your blood pressure, heart rate, breathing rate, and blood oxygen level will be

Lynch Song By Langston Hughes Poetic Devices
In the poem, Lynching Song , a black man is being hanged by a group of white men.
And although he might have died, he states that the whit men are the ones who are
really dead. The reader captures the true meaning of the poem through the formal
features that are being presented. In the five stanza poem, there are four lines in the
first two stanzas; three in the next two, and the last stanzaonly has one line. Not all
the lines are the same beat either, in the first stanza the first two lines have four beats
and the next two lines have five beats. In the second stanza, the first line has three
beats and the following three lines have five beats. The third stanza has three
consecutive four beat meters, and the fourth stanza starts with three... Show more

In the third stanza, the beat and rhythm change; in what it looks like a pause in the
poem. The font changes to italics and makes it sound like maybe a white person
interrupted the poem, expressing their confusion in the fact that the white folks
die. When the audience gets to the fourth stanza, they notice how the beats
decrease as each line is read, from three beats, to two, to one. Hughes is purposely
counting down to the last stanza, with the final words being NOT I in all caps.
What finale isn t big? But the reason why he stated that black boy s still body says:
NOT I was because even though the black man might have died, it is the white
men who are really dead. They were the ones who chose to do an immoral act, and
in God s eyes the black man, who did no wrong, will go to Heaven, while the white,
cruel men will go to Hell. This poem shows how lynching is morally wrong and
anyone that takes part in it will be punished. It is challenging the conventional beliefs
about lynching because it is showing the white men that everyone has to answer to
their wrongdoings. Although the black man died, the true death is punishment from
God for committing horrific acts (in this case, lynching) during their

theme with the contrast of gender and view, and plot; however, both of their short
stories share a divergence in the narrative point of view.
The two short stories share a similarity in theme in contrast of gender and how it is

4 main steps in control process in management are:
Control as a management function involves the following steps:
1. Establishing standards:
Standards are criteria against which results are measured. They are norms to achieve
the goals. Standards are usually measured in terms of output. They can also be
measured in non monetary terms like loyalty, customer attraction, goodwill etc. Some
of the standards are as.

v) Net profits to tangible net worth:
Net worth is the difference between tangible assets (not good will, etc) and total
liabilities. This ratio of net worth is used to measure profitability over a long period.
vi) Net profits to net working capital:
The net working capital is the operating capital at hand. This would determine the
ability of the business to finance day to day operations.
vii) Collection period on credit sales:
The collection period should be as short as possible. Any deviation from established
collection period should be promptly investigated.
viii) Inventory to net working capital:
This ratio is to determine the extent of working capital tied up in inventory.
Generally, this ratio should be less than 80 per cent, ix) Total debt to tangible net
worth: This ratio would determine the financial soundness of the business. This ratio
should remain as low as possible.
(d) Comparative statistical analysis:
The operations of one company can be usefully compared with similar operations of
another company or with industry averages. It is a very useful performance
measuring device.
(e) Personal observation:
Personal observation both formal and informal can be used in certain situation as a
measuring device for performances, specially, the performance of the personnel.
The informal observation is generally a day to day routine type. A manager may

Abstract
Al Qaeda is a global organization founded by Osama Bin Laden. It is one of the
most powerful and rich terrorist organizations in the world. The group is
responsible for major attacks such as September 11th and many other bombings.
Through the years Al Qaeda has transformed from a terrorist organization into a
fighting group. It is now something known as jihadist networks. These networks of
Al Qaeda are so powerful and can be seen as a global threat because of their
worldwide supporters, financial means and their access to weapons.

Osama Bin Laden was one of the then most wanted fugitives and terrorists for his
involvement in the U.S. embassy bombings. Even though the leader, Osama Bin

death, a new leader was elected. Osama Bin Laden was not the only one to be
killed though, an FBI agent shot the leader of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula
and the leader of the Al Qaeda in East Africa was shot by a Policeman. Despite these

Al Qaeda is a global threat because of their worldwide supporters, financial means

A Communication Change Plan For Holcim New Zealand
Essay
1.Introduction
This is a communication change plan for Holcim New Zealand. It identifies major
internal stakeholders affected by upcoming organisational changes. A range of
strategies of effective organisational communication are outlined to meet the
communication and business objectives of the organisation.
1.1.Organisation
Holcim New Zealand Limited is a leading supplier of cement, aggregates and ready
mixed concrete in New Zealand. Its involvement in the New Zealand building
industry dates back to 1888. It is part of the regional Holcim Australia/New Zealand
business and the global LafargeHolcim Group, the world s leading supplier of
cement, aggregates and construction related services represented in 90 countries on
all continents. The Group has 115,000 employees around the world and combined
net sales of 33 billion in 2014 (Holcim,2015).
1.2.Background
Holcim New Zealand are moving from their current base at Onehunga Port Auckland
and will construct a new 28 metre dome shaped cement silo on the Port lands in
Downtown Auckland. A new terminal in Timaru PrimePort is also going to replace
the Westport cement plant.
The decision to move the Auckland branch from the Manukau Harbour is because
the harbour is too shallow to accommodate larger ships to import cement from late
2016. The Timaru terminal will be able to provide more effective access to the major
market of Christchurch. The closure of the Westport plant will mean a loss of

has been found on any planet. [1] While the Earth has been around for 4.6 billion
years and our ancestors have been around for about six million years, the modern
form of humans is claimed to have evolved only about 200,000 years ago. The
present civilization it is only about six thousand years old, and the industrialization

Incapacitating An Obsession With Alcoholics
Incapacitating an obsession to alcohol can be very hard and a long uncomfortable
road. Sometimes it may even seem unbearable and you feel you want it give up.
But it s not hard as you think. Most people with alcohol don t really acknowledge
there problem. But even after acknowledging your alcohol problem you still may
have excesses about getting help. If you struggle with you decision of getting help,
you should about the choices you make and how it s going to affect others.
The first thing I would do is find out if my friend is an alcoholic. What is an
alcoholic? An alcoholic is a chronic disease characterized by uncontrolled drinking
and preoccupation with alcohol. I already know my friend is heavily drinking,
missing lots of classes and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first I would tell my friend is set a goal on how much you want to drink. That
way you know you limits and know when to stop. Next keep track of your progress
and start taking back on drinking slowly because you re not just going to stop in a
day, it will take time. Most important try and find out what is the cause of you
abusing drinking and don t put yourself those situation that cause you to over drink.
So throughout this problem my short term goals was to find out is my friend an
alcoholic and what s the cause of the problem. My long term goals was to solve my
friend drinking problem. By setting these goals I knew how I was going to address
this situation. I knew I couldn t come on strong because it would probably turn my
friend away. Then I really to show my friend I care and my not there to judge him
or she. Lastly I gave my friend tips to get help and to take drinking slowly because
you re not just going to quit in one
Vera Wang Advertising Analysis
Vera Wang is one of the most iconic designers in fashion today and this ad takes
advantage of her recognition. This image, most likely from a fashion magazine,
promotes Vera Wang s dress line. The advertisement uses three significant contrasts to
draw the buyer in. First, the model in the actual dress line. Second, the flourishing
background the models are put in. It makes you think about what the photographer
was trying to portray. Lastly, the display case made the models are standing in and
around. The modelin the front draws in the buyer, but the case is see through,
allowing the viewer to see the model standing on the back side and part of the
models arm to the left. The image suggests that someone who wears Vera Wang
can
have multiple styles and still feel good in whatever type of style that is.
The greenery background gives the ad an interesting contrast. This is a nature
setting, as implied by the grass and plants. Most of this background is not very
visible, as the models take up most of the advertisement. The brightness of the
plants suggest this photo was taken midday when the sun was at its peak. It was
taken with a shallow depth of field, meaning the background is blurred and the
main focus is on the objects in the front of the photo, The greenery is not very
green, but fades into the background. There are no animals in the trees in the back,
maybe suggesting this was taken in a place without a lot of wildlife, or the fact that
there s no resources for these
What Are The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Alliances
In...
Alliances and Partnership in Civil Aviation First Europe, and then the globe, will

The Utilisation Of Symmetry Within Filmmaking
This following proposal will feature how the utilisation of symmetry within
filmmaking, primarily in cinematography, is a stylised technique used to highlight
significant events film narratives. This proposal will decipher whether symmetry
used as a stylistic filmic technique, is a notable and powerful visual aid that heightens
the viewers experience and significance of narrativedevelopments. The purpose of
this study is to gauge information about how symmetry showcases a posed and
staged approach in filmmaking, and if that will drive the movement of filmnarratives.
Thorough analysis of examples of works by American director Wes Anderson will be
conducted throughout this proposal.
Introduction
The highly creative decision of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is due to the possibility of symmetry being used randomly and thoughtlessly,
running a high risk of creating visual disturbances in the narrative of the film, thus,
potentially leading the initial direction of the narrative astray and the viewers to be
confused as the film advances (Thonsagaard, L, 2012).
Wes Anderson (born 1969), best know as an Academy Award winning American film
director and screenwriter is respected and has mastered the art of symmetry. His
films are extremely identifiable, as his constant usage of symmetry within his feature
films create a powerful visual aid which are capable of communicating complex
meanings that cannot be conveyed visually without the addition of symmetry.
Anderson s work is also notable for his distinctive narrative writing and style and
also the inclusion of adding reoccurring collaborations with various actors and
creatives (McClintock, P, 2014).
The definition of symmetry follows and refers to ...quality being made up of exactly
similar parts facing each other or around an axis (Oxford Dictionary of English). This
proposal will primarily focus on Anderson s filmmaking, discussing his utilisation of
symmetry within his works and how he produces a visual aesthetic and experimental
style of filmmaking that has gained him the title of being a respected director in the
film industry. Anderson s reason behind using symmetry instead

Romantic Love Essay.pdf

  • 1. Romantic Love Essay Crafting an essay on the subject of romantic love poses a unique set of challenges. Delving into the complexities of human emotions, relationships, and the intricate dance of hearts requires a delicate balance of personal reflection, scholarly analysis, and creative expression. The challenge lies not only in exploring the universal aspects of love but also in presenting fresh perspectives that engage and captivate the reader. One difficulty arises from the vastness of the topic itself. Romantic love encompasses a wide array of emotions, experiences, and cultural nuances, making it a challenge to condense such richness into a coherent and impactful essay. Striking the right balance between general concepts and specific examples, as well as considering various cultural and historical dimensions, adds another layer of complexity. Furthermore, the subject demands a nuanced exploration of both the exhilarating highs and the challenging lows of romantic relationships. Navigating the fine line between idealization and realism requires a thoughtful approach to avoid oversimplification or clichГ©s. A successful essay on romantic love should not merely recount common tropes but should offer a nuanced and insightful analysis that resonates with the reader on a deeper level. Developing a compelling thesis that captures the essence of romantic love without oversimplifying or trivializing its intricacies is yet another obstacle. Striving for originality while addressing fundamental aspects of the topic poses a creative challenge that requires a thorough understanding of existing literature and a keen sense of literary finesse. In conclusion, writing an essay on romantic love involves navigating a labyrinth of emotions, cultural influences, and personal reflections. It demands a careful balance between the universal and the unique, the idealized and the realistic. Despite these challenges, the opportunity to explore the profound and multifaceted nature of romantic love can be a rewarding endeavor for those willing to undertake the journey. Important Factors To Build A Monument Analysis How can one consider size, materials, and location of equal importance in the creation of monument, when the location determines how many people will view the monument and whether the monument is respectful to the event or person it represents? Maya Lin, the designer of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C put an emphasis on materials in the creation of the monument. Lin used black granite to make the monument reflective and peaceful. The mirrored effect made the park look doubled in size, which made it appear as though there were two worlds to resemble the unity between the nation s past and present. The use of carefully chosen materials and the illusion of size made the Vietnam Veterans Memorial convey an important message. Although I grant that materials and size are important factors to be considered in the creation of a monument, I still maintain that location is the most important factor to be considered in the creation of a monument. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial was placed in a well known beautiful park surrounded by trees, which is why many people were able to view and admire the monument. The location of the monument set its shape. The Lincoln Memorial and Washington Memorial were already at that location, which were both important aspects of the Vietnam Veterans Monument. Two walls of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial were placed so one pointed at the Lincoln Memorial and the other was pointed at the Washington Memorial. The link between these two strong symbols conveyed the message of unity between the nation s past and present. The careful considerations about the monuments location allowed the monument to convey an important message that is viewed and admired by many. If the monument was placed in an obscure non picturesque location, no one would be able marvel over the

In one line Godwin presents a reader with enough levels of complexity to easily fill an entire essay; why is one of the most prominent characters (and the son of the main character referred to as the boy ? Does his focus on the tuckey emphasize his love of the idea and duties of a mother, as opposed to the actual person? Yet all of these quarries pale in comparison to an analysis of the text preceding this small quote. The end of Godwin s A Sorrowful Woman demonstrates the power of rhetoric, contrast, and detached narration in creating the text s message that the archetypal role of mother and wife is so constricting and limiting to cause the mother to end her life. Word choice proves one of the more fascinating aspects of Godwin s text, specifically her use of repetition emphasize relevant details that may have otherwise gone unnoticed. The most prominent example of this comes in the two hand knitted sweaters (both of the same gray color) As a stand alone quote, no one word stands out. Yet in the beginning of the text the child s gray eyes are referenced, in conjunction with The shirt was the gray of the child s trusting gaze. The continuation of the gray motif of the text highlights a few key details. First, gray is used with some frequency in literature to act as a symbol for depression, and even beyond the realm of literature Professors from the University of Manchester have recently developed a color chart

I have come to believe that these concepts have allowed me to better understand interactions that occur in our daily lives. My knowledge of these concepts was challenged when asked to relate these notions to a movie. During the time that I was watching the movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, I realized myself grasping onto what was going on and being able to relate certain scenes and situations to topics I had previously learned about. Interactions in My Big Fat Greek Wedding display concepts of conflict and politeness theory, which can be pointed out in a few specific scenes. Without taking this class, one would already know that an argument, or conflict, is started because two people want different things, or have incompatible goals. However, one might not know about the guidelines people can follow in order to prevent the conflict from getting worse, or to prevent an argument entirely. After learning about these guidelines, it is easier to notice and pay attention to arguments more, and point out when some of these guidelines should be used. The second topic that is portrayed in the movie is the politeness theory. To begin explaining what it entails, a term that plays an important role in the politeness theory will be defined, and that is Face. Face is an image or identity we enact in our interactions with other people (Goldsmith, p.26). Erving Goffman, a sociologist, defined face as the positive social value a person effectively claims for himself [or herself] by the line others assume he [or she] has taken during a particular contact. Face is an image of self delineated in terms of approved social attributes (Goldsmith, p.26). Losing or saving face has to do with our ability to stay in character and behave in a way that fits with expectations for our role. Some ways of losing face have to do with basic violations of civilized behavior (Goldsmith, p.26). There are also two aspects of face to which are negative face and positive face. Negative face is the want to be unimpeded, to have certain rights not to be impeded by

Jean Valjean, the main character of the book, has two obsessions throughout the novel; living by the Bishop s word (becoming a man of God s will,) and protecting and raising Cosette away from the evils of the world. In the beginning of the story, Jean Valjean can not find anyone to take him in for the night. Because he is a convict, marked by a yellow passport, the Bishop s home is the only door open to him. A convict may leave the galleys behind, but not his condemnation (26). Despite the Bishop s kindness, during the night Jean Valjean steals all of the silver from the house and flees the town. Not far from the Bishop s house, Jean Valjean is captured and returned to the Bishop, who tells the police he gave the silver to the convict. Once the police excuse themselves, the Bishop says, Jean Valjean, never forget that you have promised me to use this silver to become an honest man . . . . You belong no longer to evil, but to good. Humanism In Art Art: the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power (Stevenson Lindberg, 2010). Art takes many forms, such as paintings, drawings, sculptures, and collages, and within each form exists different genres or classifications. The early history of art, or art created within the fourteenth to nineteenth centuries, can fall into five major periods: Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Romanticism, and Realism. The first of the five major art periods, the Renaissance period, occurred between the thirteenth and sixteenth centuries and started within Florence, Italy. It later spread throughout the rest of Europe. Renaissance art, aimed at rebirthing classical culture, contains defining characteristics such as the theme of humanism, a more realistic portrayal of subjects due to advances in perspective, and depictions of prominent religious figures (Magic Web Solutions UK, 2015). In regards to the birth of humanism in art, There is now little doubt that the desire to render human likenesses in specific, rather than generalized or idealized, terms began in Italy in the thirteenth century (Grassi, 2011). Additionally, art often took the form of oil paintings on canvas or plaster and statues typically crafted from marble and bronze. Some of the most well known artists of this time include Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Sandro
  • 11. Internal And External Auditing Audit Essay According to Kieso, Weygandt, and Warfield (2013), an auditor is an accounting professional who conducts an independent examination of a company s accounting data (p. 1508). In other words, auditors are independent agents that ensure the accuracy of financial statements. Although internal and external auditors play different roles with an organization, they must follow auditingstandards and procedures to detect fraud. In 1941, The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) was founded to provide guidance to internal auditors (Whittington Pany, 2014). With over 170,000 international members, the IIA has paralleled the recognition of internal auditing as an essential control function in all types of businesses (Whittington Pany, 2014, p. 778). In the United States, nearly every large corporation maintains a staff of internal auditors (usually employees and not independent contractors) to identify theft, waste, and fraud (O Donnell, 2015; Whittington Pany, 2014). Besides examining the financial statements, internal auditors also analyze the internal control of organizations (O Donnell, 2015). That is, they are responsible for enhancing a company s operations. For instance, internal auditors may evaluate the risk to a corporation s reputation if they use low wage workers in third world countries (O Donnell, 2015). In addition, they may investigate why products are getting overproduced compared to the available resources or inspect the quality of the finished

This type of warfare can be used between groups of people or countries. Just like any war, the motivation can be economic, religious, or political. The first segment depicts the increasing economic opportunity for underrepresented groups and their unceasing experience with unemployment or discrimination. Additionally, the American public attempted to restrain the youth by associating the zoot culture with nefarious qualities. Mexican Americans, African Americans, and Asian Americans utilized contemporary fashion, language, and public venues to assert their identities. This essay will analyze the exhibit to show what it s telling us and why it is so important. To start, a main focus in the exhibit is the Egyptians old burial rituals. It is widely known that the Egyptians used to mummify the dead. The exhibit not only displays these mummies, but it also displays what they were buried with. The objects buried in the tomb with the body are known to be for the afterlife of the person who is buried. These objects in the exhibit, along with the mummy and it s sarcophagus, included vessels for food and water, canopic jars for the organs of the mummy, along with jewelry and figurines of the gods and goddesses of Egypt. Also, the plaques on the inside of the exhibit s walls read descriptions of ancient Egyptian beliefs and why some of the goods were buried with the mummy. Not only that, the people of New Orleans underestimated the power of Hurricane Katrina causing many to be stranded with no food or water ( Narrator, The Storm ,PBS ). Before Hurricane Katrina, a simulation called Hurricane Pam was created to prepare for a disaster like Katrina. It was the perfect model of what happened in Katrina ( Maestri, The Storm ). The purpose of it was to prepare the people (government) in what is needed during a real hurricane. Unfortunately, Before they could finish the exercise, FEMA s funding for the simulation was cut before it was completed causing the simulation to be canceled. The reason why Hurricane Pam was unsuccessful because Medical care for hurricane victims was not yet finalized, communication systems were not addressed at all, and key transportation decisions were left to be determined ( Narrator, The Storm , PBS ). TITLE: Compressive Data Gathering for Large Scale Wireless Sensor Networks This system presents the first complete design to apply compressive sampling theory to sensor data gathering for large scale wireless sensor networks. The successful scheme developed in this research is expected to offer fresh frame of mind for research in both compressive sampling applications and large scale wireless sensor networks. Reaction time is one of the most important requirements for driving because in any circumstance where they come close to an accident they need to react quickly to swerve out of the way or hit the breaks. In every case, the elderly driver told police that he or she confused the gas and brake pedals. This case is a mixture of dementia and reaction time. When people get older they tend to forget more, both long term or short term. Driving is a complicated

Inheritance allows to create classes which are derived from other classes, so that they automatically include some of its parent s members, plus its own. For example, we are going to suppose that we want to declare a series of classes that describe polygons like our CRectangle, or like CTriangle. They have certain common properties, such as both can be described by means of only two sides: height and base. This could be represented in the world of classes with a class CPolygon from which we would derive the two other ones: CRectangle and CTriangle. The class CPolygon would contain members that are common for both types of polygon. In our case: width and ... Since public is the most accessible level, by specifying this keyword the derived class will inherit all the members with the same levels they had in the base class. If we specify a more restrictive access level like protected, all public members of the base class are inherited as protected in the derived class. Whereas if we specify the most restricting of all access levels: private, all the base class members are inherited as private. For example, if daughter was a class derived from mother that we defined as: | class daughter: protected mother;| This would set protected as the maximum access level for the members of daughter that it inherited from mother. That is, all members that were public in mother would become protected indaughter. Of course, this would not restrict daughter to declare its own public members. That maximum access level is only set for the members inherited from mother. If we do not explicitly specify any access level for the inheritance, the compiler assumes private for classes declared with class keyword and public for those declared with struct. What is inherited from the base class? In principle, a

The specific objectives includes 1. To determine the nature of the pension services. 2. To test the reliability of the SERVQUAL instrument in pension service. 3. To gain some insight and understanding into the dimensions of service quality customers consider more important in determining satisfaction. 4. To ascertain and test the direction of the causal relationship between customer satisfaction and service quality. 5. To recommend strategy for influencing customer perceptions and closing the customer gap. 1.4Conceptual Framework The framework for this research is premised on the expectancy disconfirmation paradigm (Oliver 1980; Parasuraman, Zeithaml and Berry 1988, 1994 and Gronroos 1994) and the expectancy disconfirmation comparison judgment as determinants of customer satisfaction and perceived service quality. Consumers evaluation of service quality is a function of the magnitude and direction of the gap between the customer s expectations of services and customer s assessment (perception) of the service actually delivered.

It is challenging the conventional beliefs about lynching because it is showing the white men that everyone has to answer to their wrongdoings.
