My Interest Towards Family Medicine
My interest towards family medicine began during my early childhood years. I
grew up in a small and developing city called Salalah, Oman where health care
resources were sparse. Back in 1990 s, immigrants from low income and middle
class families could not afford health care. My mother, a nurse, and her friend, a
primary care physician, were considered the healers of our neighborhood. Families
and neighbors, who were sick, wounded, or in need of medical advice, came to them
for help. I grew up watching them become the de facto healthcare resources of our
neighborhood. This inspired me to venture into the field of medicine.
After moving to New York, I was determined to take advantage of the opportunities I
had. While volunteering at a nursing home through church, I met several family
physicians and internists. I was impressed by their professionalism while interacting
with patients. All patients were treated with the same delicate care, despite their array
of debilitated statuses. Poor hygiene did not distract the physician, but rather it urged
them to provide medical care to the best of their ability. The patients felt this and their
immense gratitude was palpable. I realized how imperative it was for any physician to
value their character, attitude, and skill. My experiences inspired me to continue
volunteering at nursing homes and church events, where I could give a helping hand

Above are the trials I had on the cell before I did the final and last trial. It seems
that the Duracell lasted the longest during the second trial, and the first trial they
came to a close tie. So for the final and last trial I would have to see how long the
batteries last by doing the expeirment percisely as I can. The first battery I tested is
the Energizer battery which lasted 6 hours, and 35 minuets. The second battery I
tested is the Duracell battery which lasted 22 hours and 15 minuets. The third
battery I tested is the Enercell battery which lasted 15 hours, and 2 minuets. The last
battery I tested was the Rayovac battery which lasted for 24 hours, and 30
minuets.The battery brand which lasted the longest out of the four of them was the
Rayovac battery. My expeirment came to end, because all the batteries burned out.

Throughout Medieval literature, the motif of dreams pops up relatively
frequently, and as a central part of the story. In The Canterbury Tales, specifically
The Nun s Priest s Tale, Chauntecleer experiences a prophetic dream, warning him
of the fox that will eventually try to attack him. In Malory s Morte Darthur, King
Arthur also sees two prophetic dreams the night before his battle with his
illegitimate son Mordred. These illusions of the mind persuade Arthur enough to
call for a treatise the following day, which ends up backfiring and leading to his
demise. Specifically in the first of the two dreams, allusions and symbolic imagery
create the looming sense of urgency for Arthur to take action in order to prevent

you. Business has been slow and the bills are piling up. You have done just about
everything you can to cut costs but you are still unable to pay the bills. You do not
want to close the business. You have done some number crunching and you found
that by reducing your workforce from 10 to 6 you can pay your bills and remain
profitable.
The best way to inform my employees about the workforce reduction would be face

Many people have read the story Into the Wild By Jon Krakauer, when mentioning
the name Chris McCandless he is either viewed as hero or as a dumb man. The
people who view him as a hero tend to believe that he was determined enough to
want to do something. Others view him as an idiot who just wanted attention. Him
being unprepared and not knowing much about how to survive in the wild made
McCandless an idiot, the dumb jerk. Also causing him to be a poor role model to
