 Following agencies/agents play very important role in WRM :
1) Agricultural department
2) Geologist
3) Meteorologist
4) Chemist
5) Biologist
6) Economist
7) Social worker
8) Politician
9) Water quality control authority
10) General public
11) NGOs
12) Industries
13) Mechanical engineer
14) Electrical engineer
15) ISRO
16) Civil engineer
 Agricultural department develops new
techniques of irrigation, which save the water
and by that production can be increase.
 Carry out the technique by it water losses
can be reduce, water is very important source
for irrigation. If we use water carelessly then
it will affect the future irrigation system.
 Spread the knowledge about crop rotation,
and importance of crop rotation.
 Know the details about ground water, such that at
which level the ground water is available. So use of
water can be done properly.
 Select the proper location for reservoir construction
and choose the place for strong foundation. So that if
we construct foundation on loose soil then it may
damage the reservoir structure and may damage the
human beings or property.
 Choose the suitable materials required for the
reservoir construction. Take the advise of geologist
that which materials can be use at the available soil
type and use the properly suitable materials.
 Work of a meteorologist is to know about the
atmospheric changes.
 by reading past seasonal records, like monsoon,
and predict about monsoon.
 Check out the past disaster records and
predict about flood and drought, etc.
 Work of a chemist is to analyze the water
and quality of water, so that suitable water
treatment can be provide to water used for
irrigation.
 Test the drained water. Drained water is
harmful to creatures in river and human
beings. So chemist can suggest that which
chemical or treatment will help to make the
water harmless.
 Biologist plays very important role in WRM. His
work is to study the type of bacteria in water
and tell that it is harmful or not.
 Biologist studies that which effects can be do the
bacteria present in water, how it can be removed
from water being used for drinking and other
purposes.
 Biologist has to carry out the techniques to make
bacteria-free water and suggest others, so that
human being can not be affected by harmful
bacteria present in water.
 Very important work for any project is to do the
cost – benefit study. Economist do this work and
says that how much economy the project is and
how much money power it will required.
 Economist suggests to invest money in projects to
the investors and entrepreneur so that required
money can be gain.
 Economist decides the proper unit rates for
energy/irrigation and
 Present the problems of general public to government and
request to take actions for solving it.
 When the project is selected for the people social worker
explains the advantages & disadvantages of projects to
people and requests people to co-operate in project.
 Social worker explains the importance of natural water
resources and the project will be occurred to save the
water source.
 Social worker helps to solve the problems comes during
project and presents to project officers so that they can
take actions before the problem come.
 Politician tell people to co-operate in project and
builds the human support for project.
 Politician follow the project according to necessity
of general public
 Politician explains the importance of project and
suggest to invest in the project and collect the
world wide investment for the project
 Politician provide the social service for the project
completion.
 Decide the standards for drinking water and provides
required treatment plant for water treatment.
 Decide the standards for drained water so that
industrial waste water should be drained if it
 Decide the proper location for drained water so that
human being and creatures in river can not be harmed.
 Place the water treatment plants for maintain the
quality of drinking water and check for its effective
use of that.
 Use appropriate water for drinking and other purposes.
 Pay government for water use as per rates decided so that
government can manage the economy and provide the other
useful services
 Public have to understand the importance of water and
prevent water losses
 Co-operate government in project so government can do
better for the general public.
 Explain the importance of water to others, so that more
can be saved.
 Explain the importance of water to people and suggest
to use proper techniques for irrigation and say to use
appropriate water.
 Help the government for building new projects and
provide required man and money power as possible.
 Explain the real facts of projects so that more and
more people can join the projects and invest in it.
 Help the human being in disastrous situations like
flood or draught.
 Drain water after chemical treatment so that drained
water can not affect the human beings and river
creatures and soil.
 Do not waste water cause water is very important
natural source but now a days because of irregular
improper over use of it, water is going less.
 Pay government for electricity/water use so that it
may do other.
 Give economical support to government, so that it
can provide other services to people in future.
 A mechanical engineer can build a hydro-electricity
generation plant so that with help the water
electricity can be generated
 Mechanical engineer can build a water treatment
plant for treating the water for purify water
before pass to public or drain.
 Machineries for ground water can be adopted by
mechanical engineers so that water can be pumped
out from very low level of ground and use it for
irrigation.
 Electrical engineer can provide a hydro-
electricity generation plant so that hydro-
electricity as store the water.
 Manage and distribute the generated
electricity and collect the charges for it from
people, for other facility provision.
 With the help of satellite and remote sensing
get the details of water resource, location for
reservoir, etc. and analyze it.
 Planning and designing of water storage structure for
water storing and hydro-electricity generation plant
and all kind of required structures.
 Planning, design and construction of canal network for
appropriate water distribution.
 Management and maintenance of project structure at
a scheduled period of time with all kind of services.
 This is the only single agent/agency which can connect
various agencies and get optimum use of it like
mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, etc.

  • 3.  Following agencies/agents play very important role in WRM : 1) Agricultural department 2) Geologist 3) Meteorologist 4) Chemist 5) Biologist 6) Economist 7) Social worker 8) Politician 9) Water quality control authority 10) General public 11) NGOs 12) Industries 13) Mechanical engineer 14) Electrical engineer 15) ISRO 16) Civil engineer
  • 4.  Agricultural department develops new techniques of irrigation, which save the water and by that production can be increase.  Carry out the technique by it water losses can be reduce, water is very important source for irrigation. If we use water carelessly then it will affect the future irrigation system.  Spread the knowledge about crop rotation, and importance of crop rotation.
  • 5.  Know the details about ground water, such that at which level the ground water is available. So use of water can be done properly.  Select the proper location for reservoir construction and choose the place for strong foundation. So that if we construct foundation on loose soil then it may damage the reservoir structure and may damage the human beings or property.  Choose the suitable materials required for the reservoir construction. Take the advise of geologist that which materials can be use at the available soil type and use the properly suitable materials.
  • 6.  Work of a meteorologist is to know about the atmospheric changes.  by reading past seasonal records, like monsoon, and predict about monsoon.  Check out the past disaster records and predict about flood and drought, etc.
  • 7.  Work of a chemist is to analyze the water and quality of water, so that suitable water treatment can be provide to water used for irrigation.  Test the drained water. Drained water is harmful to creatures in river and human beings. So chemist can suggest that which chemical or treatment will help to make the water harmless.
  • 8.  Biologist plays very important role in WRM. His work is to study the type of bacteria in water and tell that it is harmful or not.  Biologist studies that which effects can be do the bacteria present in water, how it can be removed from water being used for drinking and other purposes.  Biologist has to carry out the techniques to make bacteria-free water and suggest others, so that human being can not be affected by harmful bacteria present in water.
  • 9.  Very important work for any project is to do the cost – benefit study. Economist do this work and says that how much economy the project is and how much money power it will required.  Economist suggests to invest money in projects to the investors and entrepreneur so that required money can be gain.  Economist decides the proper unit rates for energy/irrigation and
  • 10.  Present the problems of general public to government and request to take actions for solving it.  When the project is selected for the people social worker explains the advantages & disadvantages of projects to people and requests people to co-operate in project.  Social worker explains the importance of natural water resources and the project will be occurred to save the water source.  Social worker helps to solve the problems comes during project and presents to project officers so that they can take actions before the problem come.
  • 11.  Politician tell people to co-operate in project and builds the human support for project.  Politician follow the project according to necessity of general public  Politician explains the importance of project and suggest to invest in the project and collect the world wide investment for the project  Politician provide the social service for the project completion.
  • 12.  Decide the standards for drinking water and provides required treatment plant for water treatment.  Decide the standards for drained water so that industrial waste water should be drained if it  Decide the proper location for drained water so that human being and creatures in river can not be harmed.  Place the water treatment plants for maintain the quality of drinking water and check for its effective use of that.
  • 13.  Use appropriate water for drinking and other purposes.  Pay government for water use as per rates decided so that government can manage the economy and provide the other useful services  Public have to understand the importance of water and prevent water losses  Co-operate government in project so government can do better for the general public.  Explain the importance of water to others, so that more can be saved.
  • 14.  Explain the importance of water to people and suggest to use proper techniques for irrigation and say to use appropriate water.  Help the government for building new projects and provide required man and money power as possible.  Explain the real facts of projects so that more and more people can join the projects and invest in it.  Help the human being in disastrous situations like flood or draught.
  • 15.  Drain water after chemical treatment so that drained water can not affect the human beings and river creatures and soil.  Do not waste water cause water is very important natural source but now a days because of irregular improper over use of it, water is going less.  Pay government for electricity/water use so that it may do other.  Give economical support to government, so that it can provide other services to people in future.
  • 16.  A mechanical engineer can build a hydro-electricity generation plant so that with help the water electricity can be generated  Mechanical engineer can build a water treatment plant for treating the water for purify water before pass to public or drain.  Machineries for ground water can be adopted by mechanical engineers so that water can be pumped out from very low level of ground and use it for irrigation.
  • 17.  Electrical engineer can provide a hydro- electricity generation plant so that hydro- electricity as store the water.  Manage and distribute the generated electricity and collect the charges for it from people, for other facility provision.
  • 18.  With the help of satellite and remote sensing get the details of water resource, location for reservoir, etc. and analyze it.
  • 19.  Planning and designing of water storage structure for water storing and hydro-electricity generation plant and all kind of required structures.  Planning, design and construction of canal network for appropriate water distribution.  Management and maintenance of project structure at a scheduled period of time with all kind of services.  This is the only single agent/agency which can connect various agencies and get optimum use of it like mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, etc.
