Writing in the late 19th century, both Mark Twain and Ambrose Bierce were part of
the Realism literary period, which lasted from 1865 to 1900. Their writings,
especially those of Twain, helped to chart the course of American literature. Despite

greatly to the formation of the Big Bang theory.
Edwin Hubble used his large telescope to see far away stars and galaxies. He knew
