Mr. Pignati is one of the main characters in The Pigman . He is a widower who
lives alone. The author makes the reader feel sorry for Mr. Pignati. In the story
Mr. Pignati dies from a heart attack and his wife is dead. Mr. Pignati gets prank
called by two teens who say they represent a charity. In the beginning Lorraine and

For my abstinence experience, I decided to give up Korean media for nine weeks.
This type of media included YouTube videos involving reality shows of different

Almost every day, I would have thoughts about watching Korean media. When it
came to the second week of abstaining, I had constant thoughts certain scenes and

people or an organization, or has the ability to do the same. Kruse (2013) after

a cause of the inability to interpret the differences between reality and illusion.

In traditional fairy tales, ogres are man eating beasts. The prince usually rescues the
princess, they marry and live happily ever after. How do the makers of Shrek use
presentational devices to reverse this tradition, to reveal the Ogre as good, and the
Prince as evil?
In this essay I am going to analyse the characters of Shrek and Lord Farquaad and
write about how the film makers use different interpretations making Shrek as good
and the Prince as evil to create an unusual fairytale.

The storybook characters react by running away screaming this suggests Shrek
seems like a traditional ogre because like Jack and the beanstalk ogres and giants
like the taste of humans Fe fi fo fum I smell the blood of an Englishman .
When Donkey approaches, Shrek roars at him and tries to intimidate him, Donkey
is not frightened and Donkey responds to Shrek by laughing at him and is not
intimated. Donkey says You need some tic tacs Donkey ridicules Shrek about his
bad breath. Donkey questions Shrek; Shrek shouts What am I? Shrek emplys that
he is a monster but it doesn t scare Donkey. Donkey is very irritating towards Shrek
he runs into Shreks house and bounces on his chair. Shrek does not succeed when
he tries to stop Donkey, which suggests that Shrek isn t really a terrifying ogre!
Unbeknown to Shrek fairytale characters have been evicted by Lord Farquaad and
came to Shreks swamp. Shrek noticed three mice on his table and up his shoulder. It
is comedy as he fails to catch the mice. Shrek shouts I m a terrifying
Ogre, what do I have to do to get a little privacy? The behaviour of Donkey and the
mice suggests that Shrek maybe not as frightening as an ogre should

Bill Clinton s Speech Analysis
In Bill Clinton s speech at the Cleveland Democratic Leadership Council
Convention, he, first, talks about the people of the Republican Party and their
slander against the Democratic party, but his rebuttal, towards the remarks,
disagreed. People commented, saying the Democratic party was dead and
ineffective. Clinton disagrees, saying how the Democratic officials were anything
but dead. He moved on to mention the lack or the struggle of medical care in this
country and that we are a nation who does not care or provide a nice life for children

What Clinton had said in his speech was seemed to be effective for a short period
of time. Still, medical care is a struggle to get and pay for. American families, with
below average incomes, live without the luxury of medical care and rarely ever get
medical treatment when sick, needing a checkup or follow up care, or even seeing a
dentist. Bill Clinton mentioned that the American children living in the ghetto and
other dangerous neighborhoods needed something or someone to believe in, like
the government to help them solve their problems, but today nothing has changed.
Today people living in the ghetto are not properly taken care of and are ignored,
the crime rate has gone up and so has gang activity.Today, like her husband, Hillary
Clinton wants to raise pay, create good paying jobs, and build an economy that
works for everyone in America, not just the upper classes. She wants to cut taxes for
the middle class, raise minimum wage, and invest in infrastructure and education to
help the American people balance work and family, even though she has abandoned
the education reform movement. I think President Clinton had the right idea about
helping the economy to help the families and people of America, but everything he

Although it can be stated that participant observation and qualitative research overall
has some unfavourable parts which make it not the optimum research method for
making sure that informed consent is always respected for sociologists undertaking
qualitative research involving human participants from diverse social and cultural
groups (Dylan, 2017). One of these is especially present in fieldwork where
participant observationis being used as the main research method is both the length
and the cost of the research, this is because regular research is not being published
as well as a large cost of publishing their extensive works (Dylan, 2017).
Informed consent is the most important thing for sociologists undertaking qualitative
research. Informed consent is when multiple conditions are met, these conditions
are that an individual or a group of individuals must give their formal
acknowledgement and permission to start a relationship with a sociologist who is
doing qualitative research, secondly the individuals have to be a person or a group
of people who are reciprocal in the relationship, linking to the second point is the
last which is that an acceptable level of maturity has to be reached by both groups
to create a reciprocal relationship between the two parties (Miller, Frank et. al, 2009,
