2. THE HUNGER GAMES
COSTUME-
The costume in this still in which Katniss Everdeen is wearing shows the poor not at all
wealthy background she has in the film. This is because these are her best clothes but still
represent her poor background.
3. LOCATION-
The location of the forest shows where the ‘games’ of the hunger games in set in the
first one. The forest is known for hunting animals and that ironic because in this film
they're all hunting each other (humans)
4. PROPS-
The props used in this still shows the equipment for hunting/fighting, this shows the
violence in the film which relates to the films theme of action thriller as most action
thrillers have a range of fighting in them. Also relates to the things the character has to
do to succeed in the games.
5. LIGHTING-
The lighting used in this still relates to the suspense which is meant to be made in this
scene as it’s the final bit of the film. The dark and dim background shows the tension
which is being made and makes the audience really want to find out what is going to
happen.
6. MR & MRS SMITH
COSTUME-
In this still Mr. smith is wearing smart clothing. This links to the fact that he is
very professional in his job and relates to his job being very serious.
7. LOCATION-
This still shows when the house blows up in the film, this relates to the theme of
thriller and action as is shows the violence and the house is all smashed up.
8. PROPS-
The props used in this still shows the equipment for fighting, In this still you can see
his is using guns. This shows the violence in the film which relates to the films
theme of action theme as most action films have a range of fighting in them.
9. LIGHTING-
The lighting in this still shows the green when you’re looking in a target
through a gun. This relates to the violence and fighting in the action
theme of the film.
10. LOVE, ROSIE
COSTUME-
This still shows the character of Rosie young as she’s going to a ball. This is shown
by the ball gown which she is wearing. This shows the character as an average
young girl.
11. LOCATION-
This still shows Rosie when she's a bit older. This still shows her at work in a hotel, this
shows her character as lower class as she's a cleaner. And a cleaner isn't the best job
she could get in a hotel but she's only young.
12. PROPS-
In this still the prop is the covers this is because she is hiding behind them as she is
embarrassed about something that has happened in the scene before.
13. LIGHTING-
The bright light suggest that this character is quite a happy cheerful person. In this
still she looks kind of shocked which could also relate to the bight light which is
shining on her face.
