The Art Style
Pierre Auguste Renoir painted many paintings that are known by people all over the world. Millions of people love and recognize Renoir's beautiful, sweet, chubby, unique paintings of women and groups of people.
We can’t feel any pain and any mood of religion from his paintings. But we can know about the warm of family such as mother’s smile. Renoir though paintings were created to make people happy.
Renoir was struggling to find his own style before he began Impressionism. He was so greatly affected by the works of others that his work seemed to be merely copies of his idols’.
Renoir's early work was influenced by two French artists, Claude Monet in his treatment of light and the romantic painter Eugène Delacroix in his treatment of color. Monet Renoir
After Renoir marriage, the public was finally starting to realize how beautiful the Impressionists' paintings were. Just when things were going great, with years of hard work, Renoir decided to change his painting style.
His friends were in shock as they asked the question, “ Why would you want to make a change?” Renoir responded with, “ I’m not exactly bored with my style of work. I just thought it was time for something new and different.”
Renoir decided to combine Impressionism with the older styles. Renoir finally found a style that satisfied him. This was a combination of Impressionism and the older styles.
After influencing Impressionism and experimenting with elements of Classical style, Renoir later developed an in-between style that was all his own.
This new style, as seen in many portraits of women bathing, combines the sunny, optimistic outlook that Renoir is famous for and the bold, contrasting lines that draw attention. This style dominated the remainder of Renoir’s paintings.
The Art
Young women playing the piano was a recurring and favourite subject for Renoir. While the theme of youth and music had often been given allegorical treatment in French and Dutch art of the past, Renoir adopted the subject as an emblematic image of French bourgeois culture. Girls at the  piano (1892)
The theme of cultivated innocence and domestic comfort underpinned much of the artist's work. This fresh and lively preparatory sketch was produced in response to an official commission from the French State. Girls at the  piano (1892)
Look at this picture! And don’t be shy please! There are three nude women here. Renoir loves to draw a group of women without clothes. Especially the women take a bath. The big bathers  (1884 - 87)
In this picture we can not only see the women are not so thin and not so heavy but also know that Renoir describes the beauty of woman’s body. The big bathers  (1884 - 87)
