MEANING
•The strategy used to remove the weakness of
the learner is Remedial teaching.
•Diagnostic testing leads to remedial teaching,
in which quality instructional material is
prepared for quality learning, adapting
different methodologies as per the needs of
the individual or a particular group.
•Thus the main purpose of Diagnostic testing is
to spot the learning difficulties of pupils with
a view to developing corrective measures,
termed as Remedial teaching.
