The document discusses several applications of nanotechnology including anti-microbial solutions using silver ions, nano polishing pastes, fuel additives using nanodiamonds and nanographite, and abrasion resistant silver coatings. It explains that nanosilver has antimicrobial properties and can kill microbes through different mechanisms depending on the bacteria. Nano polishing pastes can reduce surface roughness to near 2nm. Fuel additives with nanodiamonds and nanographite can lower fuel consumption and friction. Silver nanoparticle coatings enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance of copper while decreasing wear and friction.

Ground Processing Affordability for Space VehiclesJohn Ingalls
AIAA Space 2011 presentation:
Launch vehicles, flight vehicles, and most of their payloads spend the majority of their time on the ground. The cost of ground operations is very high. So, why so often is so little attention given to ground processing during development? Ground processing operations must be considered for the full product life cycle, from concept to retirement.

In this presentation i have described about nanotechnology in present and future automobiles. And i also gave applications regarding nanotechnology in automobiles.
The emergence of nanotechnology in th1980’s was caused by convergence of experimental advances such as the invention of the scanning tunneling microscope in 1981 and the discovery of fullerenes in 1985. Now the nanotechnology products are used in various fields such as medical, material science, automobile etc. In this topic the various applications of nanotechnology in the automobile industries have been discussed.
Nanotechnology is seen as one of the key technologies of the future. Nanotechnology refers to a wide range of scientific and technological phenomena which focuses on nanoscale (0.1 to 100 nm). It is the science of developing materials through individual control of atoms and molecules to create products that are thousands of times smaller than current technology allows for. The basis of this technology is to modify the inherent material properties such as color, abrasion resistance, conductivity, etc. the reduction of its size without modifying its chemical composition. nano-particles artificially produced have new properties which are important for the development of new products and applications.
The composition of an organic coating (paint) may be may be a formulation simple or complex, with a variety of materials, each having a specific function. The formulations generally have three components designed to be permanent and serve specific functions in the dry film. These components are the pigment, carrier and additives. Pigments provide color and other functions. The vehicles commonly called ligands act as an adhesive to adhere the pigment particles to the substrate or to each other. Finally, the additives are chemicals which modify the coating properties in fluid or solid state.

Zinc Recycling and Production. Active Zinc Oxide Production from Zinc Ash, Secondary Zinc Waste & EAF Dust.
Active zinc oxide or zinc oxide Active may be a specialized chemical which is used to accelerate the vulcanization of rubber. These are very small particles and transparent in appearance but are one in every of the most important activators. These chemicals scale low in impurity levels but contributes more as an activator even with less dosage. It helps in increasing the standard of rubber and also improves the environmental compatibility.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.
7. The antimicrobial activity of Silver ion is well
defined in Nano science. Anti-microbial
mechanisms of Nano silver are different
according to the species of bacteria.
The efficacy of microbe killing is based not only
on the amount of Silver ion present, but likely
also the presence of other Silver radicals
generated by a Silver releasing product.
8. The Polishing paste containing Nanomaterials
can be used to reduce the roughness of a
surface almost by a factor of ca 2nm and
reach the value of 0.9 nm.
These polishers can be supplied in
hydrophilic, hydrophobic and all-purpose
forms.
9. NanoDiamond / NanoGraphite - based
motor oil additives, are the result of the
latest developments in Nanotechnology.
They reduce the fuel consumption (up to
12%), friction and wear; reinforce the
inner motor surfaces and recondition the
motor.
10. Silver coatings are often used to increase the
conductivity and corrosion stability of copper in
electrical connectors, switches, circuit boards
etc.
The amount of nanoparticles getting co-
deposited with the metal is tiny (below 0.1%),
nevertheless, their presence decreases both
wear and friction coefficient by 60%.
