• R&B is a music Genre that combines elements from other genres such
as, Rhythm and Blues, pop, soul, funk and hip hop.
• R&B originates from traditional rhythm and blues music.
• However today R&B is often used to describe a style of African-
American music.
• R&B Stands for Rhythm and Blues
• The term R&B was first used by Billboard magazine in late 1940’s
3. • The majority of R&B fans are teenagers/Young adults, who are aged
roughly between the ages of 14-25
• This is the age where they are most likely to attend parties, who will
be playing R&B music.
• Most of the lyrics used are based on their lives.

also be singing which is done over Hip Hop Beats.
• Rihanna is a Pop Artist, but does have some R&B songs.
