History of RnB
• RnB is abbreviated for Rhythm and Blues. It
was originated back in the 1940’s which it
became popular mainly for African Americans.
RnB has changed over time from records like
blues to rock and roll , soul and gospel and is
now developing into contemporary which
varies from hip hop and dance etc.
Artists to include within my magazine
Front cover artists
• I would use Fetty Wap or Chris Brown as
they're both extremely popular right now in
the RnB industry, also Fetty Wap is an
upcoming rising artist.
Possible mastheads
• Insurgency
• Hudi
• Dolla
RnB location/Mise en scene
Setting of clubs/strip clubs
as RnB lyrics tend to relate
to money , sex and alcohol
which is all represented
within this location well.
RnB is represented well with the
‘hood’ or the streets as most
artists tend to say how they’ve
come from those settings and how
they’re now here (artists).
