Radial Analysis Image connotation and Denotation: The main image is a coke bottle with lots of different colourful and fun object coming out. This image suggests when you drink coke your life will be fun and exciting.  The buses and bikes suggest an exciting journeys. the group of friends shows this advertisement gives us the need for attention and friendship according to  Maslow's hierarchy theory.   The image would attract the target audience because it’s aimed at teenagers. Colour: The main colour used in this advertisement is red. For example, red clouds is use in the background, the buses, the rainbow and the font of coke. But on top of the red, there is lots of other colours used (the seven rainbow colours) to the make different fun images. The colour red has been used because it’s the famous colour for coke and it’s a strong and energetic colour. The colourful colours suggest happy and fun which will attract the target audience because it’s aimed at teenagers. Product The product is coke- a popular fizzy drink. This product is ideal for hot summer days or when you want to feel refreshed. It makes you full of energy and excitement. Brand name  The brand name of this product is “Coca-Cola”. It’s the most popular fizzy drink which is known world wide. It’s brand also has other different product for example: Diet coke, coke zero and with other favours coke. Camera distance: The camera distance of this poster is a long shot which lets you see the whole picture clearly from a distance. This camera distance shows coke will fill up your life with fun and excitement. This will attract the target audiences because Teenagers want to have a fun and exiting life. Fonts: The font of this advert is not too big but it’s very bold because is the only writing on this advertisement so it’s attracts your attention. It’s also a  simple original font but it’s strong because of the colour red. Slogan: The slogan is “Open up to the Coke side of life.” this is the famous slogan of coke. This slogan suggest drinking coke will bring you the fun side of live.  “open up” means opening the coke and drinking it, “coke side of life” means coke will bring you to a new fun side of life- all the fun objects coming out of the bottle. This slogan will attract  the target audience because young people likes to try new and fun things. Logo: The logo of this advertisement is the word “coke” in the bottle. The original logo of coca cola is not on this poster but it’s so famous people will recognise it just by the word coke in the bottle.  Audience: The target audience for this advertisement is teenagers age 12-18. The fun and colourful objects on the poster will attract their attention. This advert might appeal to them it’s looks new and exciting.  This suggest to the audiences that after they drink it their life is more fulfilled.  Vivian Zhao
