Select a product/brand from what you see. Now, rebuild this brand - not redesign the packaging alone - but make it relevant for the 21st century. Do your research, learn the history of the brand, who owns it, when was it founded, is it privately or publicly held, what other products do they have in their portfolio, is it regional, national - everything.
