I am writing an analysis on a product. The product being advertised is a soft fizzy drink.

The brand name for the product is Coke Cola. This name has been chosen for the product because it has
connotations of fun and being yummy. This is a successful name for the product because it known around the
world.

The audience for the product is all ages, everybody in the family .This advert is especially aimed at young
people, children, because the image has lots of teddy bears and toys.

The motive for the advertisement is showing you that Coke is full of life that will bring you friendship, make
you popular and have a good time. This meets the need of finding meaning in life and the need for friendship
as stated by Maslow.

The main image on the advertisement is a white coke bottle with lots of images, including hearts, pictures of
teddy bears, balloons, vehicles and rainbows. This has been chosen because there is a different image for
every age group.
The image has connotations of fun for everybody. This would attract the target audience because it is exciting

The camera distance used in the advertisement is a long shot this camera distance has been used because you
can see the whole effect of the image. The camera angle used in the advertisement is wide angle. This has
been chosen because you can see everything you can do with Coke.

  The typeface used in the advertisement is always written in red and in the same font. The background is
white so it really standout. The rest of the slogan is in white so it stands out on the red background.
It would attract the target audience because it is very bright.

danger. The choice of colours would attract the target audience because they are exciting.
