Edublogs, YouTube, and Google Chrome were used during the research and planning stage. Edublogs allowed the author to present work and keep notes and research organized. YouTube provided film trailers that influenced genre choices and were embedded in blog posts. Google Chrome found magazine covers and posters that provided influence and tutorials for video editing software.

2. Edublogs
‘Edublogs’ is a blog that was created for educational purposes. It allows students
and teachers to support their learning by uploading work to their personal blogs.
This has personally been a very helpful resource for me to be able to present my
work and research. It has allowed me to keep track of everything that I needed to
keep notes of or remember for future reference whilst creating my products.

3. YouTube
YouTube is the most popular online video sharing website. It allows registered users
to upload, comment, share, and view videos.
This website has helped me massively when deciding what genre of film to choose
from. It allowed me to watch various trailers, which influenced me and gave me
ideas.
I have also included YouTube links on some of my blog posts, for example when I
was analysing the ‘My Sisters Keeper’ trailer, I embedded the code so that it was
visible and easy to access on my blog.
I also have my own channel on YouTube, which allowed me to upload my trailer.

4. Google Chrome
Google Chrome was a very helpful resource when it came to researching different
ancillary texts. I managed to find the magazine covers and posters that influenced
me, on Google Chrome. It also helped me as I often ‘Goggled’ different tutorials,
whenever I was stuck with using Adobe Premiere Pro.
