How have I used it?
I have used New media in my
blog and used these to present
my work in a more creative way
and allows people to view my
work online. Also this means I can
edit this work or upload work
anywhere and at any time.

Blogger
Creating my media products I have used various media technologies. My entire A2
portfolio is showcased on the site Blogger. Blogger lets me upload various forms of media
and new media to my blog. For example I can upload text, images, videos. I have also
used HTML codes to link YouTube videos, Slide shares, and other new medias onto the
site. In my magazine advert analysis and storyboard I have uploaded and embedded
pictures onto the site and this allows a visual aid to my work.

YouTube
Within the new media, Youtube, I have been able to upload music videos that can
be embedded onto the Blogger site. This meant that I can showcase videos that I
have made as well as showcasing in a different format. My first draft has been
uploaded using Youtube and embedding it letting anyone who accesses my blog
view this video.

Prezi
Prezi; an online presentation device allowed me to create a prezi for two blog
posts. Genre research and Similar videos and texts. This means that my blog is
more interesting for people to look at and makes the blog posts vary in the new
media that they use.

Word it out
Within my Genre research post I used a new media called Word it out. Allowing me
to create word clouds by simply writing various words and then it generates it. This
allowed me to express my genre research in a easy to read yet expressive way.
