1. MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES
IN MY EVALUATION
EXAMPLES OF MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES THAT I HAVE USED
THROUGHOUT MY EVALUATION PROCESS.

2. PREZI
 I have frequently presented my ideas through the media of Prezi.
 Prezi allows me to create quick interactive presentations and
embed them or link them to my blog.
 I found that using Prezi allowed me to answer questions in
separate points on each slide.

3. SLIDESHARE
 Slideshare allows your to upload your own presentations
and embed them or link them to your blog.
 I found SlideShare helpful in all stages of production as it
also allows you to view other peoples presentations and you
are able to gain ideas from other peoples work and views.

4. SURVEY MONKEY
 I found Survey Monkey extremely helpful when it came to
getting audience feedback and collecting all of the answers. It
allowed me to view the majority or individual answers.

5. FACEBOOK
 When it comes to social networking I found it extremely useful
when finding people to take my audience feedback survey.
 As my target audience was people my own age I knew that a
format such as Facebook would allow me access to a large group of
people quickly that would mainly be my focus group.

6. VOKI
 Voki allowed me to add a fun and different application to my blog.
 If you type in some text the character of your choice will speak it
for you, I found this fun and although it did not help my work in
anyway I found it was a varied media that I hadn’t tried before.

7. YOUTUBE
 YouTube allowed me to find tutorial videos and techniques when
creating and planning my product.
 When I began my evaluation of my work I used YouTube to look
at exemplar work and other students work so that I could judge my
own quality of product

8. BLOGGER
 My blog is the biggest media technology that I have used when
creating/planning/researching and evaluating my media coursework.
 It has allowed me to save my ideas as drafts and upload
images/videos and applications that add variation to my blog uploads.
 Some audience feedback was also given directly to my blog via
comments on the uploads from other users.

9. CONCLUSION
 In conclusion it is apparent that without many of the media
technologies that I have used I would not have been able to add variation
or indeed create most of my product.
 Within the evaluation process the three biggest technologies that I
used were of course Blogger followed by SlideShare and YouTube. These
platforms are all based on social media which allows me to share all of my
ideas and upload to my blog easily. Social media has allowed me access to
information from others for example; tutorials on YouTube and allows
me to share and help others with my own ideas.
