2. From my primary market research I already knew what target audience I wanted to
aim for with my magazine. This was a young age group from early teens to young
adults. I also learned from my market research that it would be more ideal to target
my magazine at the male gender however I also tried to attract a female audience.
From the reply of one of my
evaluation focus group members I
can see that I had reached my goal
of also being appealing to the
female gender.

Results from the questionnaire I created, helped provide an insight to what college students
where looking for in a magazine this shaped the layout and style of my magazine dramatically.

3. Other responses from my focus group were fairly positive and this made me realize I had
reached my chosen target audience well and correctly. Some of my responses also pointed
out some errors ‘typos in the text’ that were easily corrected.
4. One of the main comments I took from people I questioned
about my magazine was that they didn’t understand the
original title mélomane. This encouraged me to create a new
title for my magazine thus coming up with the final
production title Hertz.
