Hello everyone! I am thrilled to present my latest portfolio on LinkedIn, marking the culmination of my architectural journey thus far. Over the span of five years, I've been fortunate to acquire a wealth of knowledge under the guidance of esteemed professors and industry mentors. From rigorous academic pursuits to practical engagements, each experience has contributed to my growth and refinement as an architecture student. This portfolio not only showcases my projects but also underscores my attention to detail and to innovative architecture as a profession.
2. When designing my music magazine, I made use of
the internet by founding what different media
institution might suit my product and attract my
target audience. From my research I found examples of
institution such as EMAP International limited, Bauer
Media, Vibe and IPC which have different ways and
objectives of attracting and publishing their
information around the world.
3. Bauer
Bauer Media is a media institution I found in my
research. They are the largest campaign in Europe
which was also introduce in the early 80s in the UK.
They publish 38million magazines every month which
would let my magazine to be popular around the world
and keep my target audience up to date information.
There are 300 magazines send in many different
countries which draws more people to the product.
4. Bauer
They aim is to influence people relationships by engaging
readers and listeners through online, books and interviews. I
wouldn’t like Bauer to publish my music magazine because they
publish ‘Q’ and ‘MOJO’ which is associated with rock music and
metals. Also, their photographs are often monochromatic and
low key which does not suit my readers who are 16-21years. Low
key and monochromatic are not good for my audience since they
want bright colours and attractive headlines.
5. IPC
IPC is a company which publishers hip-hop and R&B.
Although, IPC feature more in the pop industry which sells
350 million copies every year and sell it in different
countries. This products designs platform, events,
competition, tablets and across pints.
6. IPC
I would like to approach IPC to help me publish my music magazine because
including events and competitions well encourage my customers to win great
prizes such as going to see live shows of their celebrity and role model. In
addition, this cross media convergence iconography is sharp and passive.
Using this elements in my music magazine would increase my sales and
attract my readers (i.e. Age 16-21) since they want simple fashion. Also, their
photography's are not naturalistic.
7. Vibe
Moreover, Vibe is a music publisher that was introduce by Quincy Jones.
This company publish music genre such as hip-hop and R&B. Their
objective as a campaign is to target demographic young people who are
interested in this music genre. The way they send and spread their
product is through their websites since quicker and reliable. This would
be effective for my music magazine because people around the world
can keep up to date information and it is productive since technology
are at our finger tips.
8. Vibe
Also, they hand their product at something the train stations and
shops. This would allow my target audience to get some of my
product in hard copy. I would like vibe to publish my music
magazine since their photographs and iconographic are passive,
colourful and taking from the studio make it profession.
9. Condé Nast
Conde Nast is one of the biggest media industry in the world
which is located in America. It was founded in 1909 by Conde
Montrose Nast but it is known as the ‘Newhouse family’. They
publish only British and American magazine. This would be
helpful since I can increase in sales since there is less competitors.
