Design: The simplistic and neat design of my magazine cover is meant to attract the
female area of my target audience. The blue colour in the colour scheme will attract
men. Yet the purple and yellow flasher will give an overall feminine tone to the cover
making the majority of the audience attracted female. The images used are inspired by
fun, energy and are related to the article and artists and therefore will attract both
genders and all of my target audience. Yet the lack of seductive images will prevent a
controversial, stereotypical representation of women allowing female to feel more
attracted to the magazine.
Features: By creating features that are not fashion or gossip related but are purely about
the music industry and artists and are enjoyable for any person from my target audience
I have made the features unisex. I have also addressed their age group as I have
addressed activities, hobbies, like and dislikes of my audience involving the
features, artists and bands featured.
