Yes No
From receiving my feedback that most of the people that I showed the clips enjoyed the
clips we made even though some of the people I showed were above my age range this is
shown by 12 people saying yes and 3 people saying no.
3. What have you learned from your
audience feedback?
Are there any parts of the documentary that stood out or you really liked? E.g.
interviews, Music, message etc. Explain why?
This was an open ended question which meant I got a varied response from different
people. From using this question I learnt that I got the message across as lot of my
responses seemed to say that the seriousness of the message had come across.(“the
message was portrayed very clear”) this was one response.
I also learnt that my by our group selecting a simple but effective music the audience
liked the music saying “it made the video flow nicely” this made the decision to select
the music we had chosen to be a good one.
Another response I had learnt from is that by choosing various interviews with experts
and vox pops the audience were kept interested(“interviewing senior staff was
interesting”).
4. What have you learned from your
audience feedback?
Is there anything you didn’t like about it(documentary)? Explain Why?
From this question I learnt that different people didn’t or did like certain things 6
members of the 15 I asked say they didn't not like anything about the
documentary. But the others though that the Janice Hamilton interview was too
loud and that it did not keep them interested through out. By receiving these
result I would say that I needed to put something different In my documentary
that made it unique to other documentaries.
5. What have you learned from your
audience feedback?
Do you think the music was appropriate
for the documentary?
Yes
No
From this question I learnt that the music was appropriate for the documentary
as most of my audience agreed. But I also learnt that some of the audience did
not like it as “it needed more work”. From this I concur that the music may have
needed tweaking in places but overall it was good for its use.
6. What have you learned from your
audience feedback?
Do you think the expert interviews
helped reinforced the severity of
cyberbullying?
Yes
No
From this question I learnt that everyone thought that the use of our expert interviews
was a good idea and that they were “very informative”. From this I learnt that if I were to
make another documentary I would have to use various different experts to show
different angles on certain topics.

What was good about the magazine?
When I asked this question lots of people comment on the ‘realisticness’ of the article
as they saw similar features to what they would see if they were to look at similar
magazine articles such as the TV Times. From this I learnt that it is best follow
convention of general features you would see in a magazine. They commented on the
magazine by saying it looked “Swanky” and “very professional”.
What was bad about the magazine?
How ever the comments made about how bad it was were very equal. People
commented by saying they didn’t like the “arrangement of the pictures” and that the
“scope effect made it hard to read parts of text”. From this I learnt that we should
have arranged the format properly and planned in more detail as I only completed a
basic layout with no colour schemes. This would have made it easier for us as a
group to create and allowed more time to play with more of the specialist features
available in inDesign.
8. What have you learned from your
audience feedback?
Would you buy the magazine on the basis
of the article
Yes
No
From asking this question I learned that my audience were split on slightly on the use of
this piece of promotional material. If I had to do this again I would do a questionnaire on
what features people would like to see in an article as this may have changed the results
of this question this would have helped my creation of the plan for the magazine aswell.
9. What have you learned from your
audience feedback?
What features did you like about the radio trailer?
By answering this question I learn that my audience did like the fact that clips were
taken from the actual documentary as they it was like a cliff-hanger or “teaser”. I learnt
that by showing bits of audio from documentary it made the audience more intrigued
into learn what the radio trailer was about. Used this convention when we listened to
some radio trailers of similar shows how they all built up to the end of the of the trailer
before releasing the information on what they were talking about.
10. What have you learned from your
audience feedback?
What features did you dislike about the radio trailer?
As this was an open ended question which meant received lots of comments but only
a couple of the same comments come up. These all were about the sound and music.
From people answering this question I learnt that the music was needed more work
done so that it was suitable enough to add to the radio trailer.
I also learn that I should have checked my sound levels so that they were all equal as
some people disliked some sound in certain areas of the trailer. This meant they could
have been put off from listening further to radio trailer.
