The Cohen-Sutherland algorithm divides the plane into 9 regions and uses 4-bit codes to encode whether each endpoint of a line segment is left, right, above, or below the clipping window. It then uses the endpoint codes to either trivially accept or reject the line segment, or perform clipping by calculating the intersection point of the line with the window boundary and replacing the outside endpoint. The main steps are to assign codes to endpoints, AND the codes to check for trivial acceptance or rejection, clip by replacing outside endpoints if needed, and repeating for other line segments.

Ink jet printer

Pros of inkjet printers are their low cost, high quality color output, ease of use, and quiet operation while cons include less durable print heads, expensive ink cartridges, slower speeds than laser printers, and sensitivity of ink to water.
Illumination models

Dot matrix printers
Dot matrix printers print characters by punching dots in a pattern onto paper like a typewriter. While dot matrix printers are the cheapest per page for printing, they have cons of only printing one character at a time, very low resolution, and poor printing speed.
Cathode ray tubes
A cathode ray tube (CRT) is a sealed glass tube that contains an electron gun, phosphor coating, and magnets. When power is supplied to the CRT, the electron gun emits a beam of electrons that is bent by electric and magnetic fields and strikes the phosphor-coated screen, causing it to emit light. While CRTs are cheaper than other displays and have a wide viewing angle, they are bulky, consume more power than LCDs, and are prone to burn-in from displaying static images for long periods.
NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION
NFC requires less power than Bluetooth but has a much shorter range. It transmits data at lower speeds than Bluetooth but can establish connections faster by using inductive coupling without manual pairing. NFC is used for quickly transferring small amounts of data like photos or files between devices by tapping them together, as well as for mobile payments if both the device and vendor support NFC transactions.
RFID
RFID technology uses radio waves to transmit data between a reader and an RFID tag for identification and tracking purposes. RFID has applications in supply chain management, access control, livestock tracking, toll collection and other areas due to benefits like non-contact tracking and large data storage. However, RFID also has drawbacks like higher costs compared to barcode and a limited effective range for reading tags.
Digital libraries
Digital libraries provide reference lists, citations, and metrics for evaluating impact and influence. A reference list contains sources used for research organized by type like books, journals, papers and theses. Citations occur within the text and identify author and source for direct quotes and paraphrases. They provide additional publication information. Citation networks, documents with high impacts, or similar patterns can be identified. The i10-Index represents the number of publications with 10 or more citations. Charles Darwin's i10-Index is provided as an example. The H-Index reflects the number of papers cited at least as many times as the index number, measuring both quantity and impact with a single value.
Covert networks
Covert networks are hidden networks whose users do not disclose their information externally. They use covert channels that are hidden from access controls and security mechanisms, allowing communication to bypass detection. Covert networks employ techniques like steganography to conceal files within other files or messages, and use blind carbon copy to send messages privately to large groups without revealing all email addresses.
Ethernet
Ethernet is a popular wired network cable that was introduced in 1980 to connect devices like PCs and switches. It uses physical addresses called MAC addresses to identify devices on the network. Ethernet addresses are 6 bytes long and can be unicast for point-to-point connections or multicast for one-to-many connections. Common types of Ethernet cables include 10BaseT, 100BaseTX, and 1000BaseT which support speeds of 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1 Gbps respectively over twisted pair copper cables. Faster versions like 10BaseF and 100BaseFX use fiber optic cables.
Wi – fi ( 802.11)
Wi-Fi allows devices to connect to the internet wirelessly using radio waves. It provides data transfer rates up to 600 Mbps within a coverage distance of about 100 meters. Multiple devices can connect to a Wi-Fi network through a router, unlike Bluetooth which only supports 7 devices. Wi-Fi networks use SSIDs to identify the network and access points to connect wireless devices to wired networks. Common standards include 802.11a, b, g, and n which provide higher data rates and backward compatibility. Security measures for Wi-Fi include MAC address filtering and WEP encryption.

Advanced control scheme of doubly fed induction generator for wind turbine us...
This paper describes a speed control device for generating electrical energy on an electricity network based on the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) used for wind power conversion systems. At first, a double-fed induction generator model was constructed. A control law is formulated to govern the flow of energy between the stator of a DFIG and the energy network using three types of controllers: proportional integral (PI), sliding mode controller (SMC) and second order sliding mode controller (SOSMC). Their different results in terms of power reference tracking, reaction to unexpected speed fluctuations, sensitivity to perturbations, and resilience against machine parameter alterations are compared. MATLAB/Simulink was used to conduct the simulations for the preceding study. Multiple simulations have shown very satisfying results, and the investigations demonstrate the efficacy and power-enhancing capabilities of the suggested control system.
