DEFINITION
Punches ink onto the paper, like a typewriter.
Letters are made up of patterns.
How it works ?
Each character has a map of dots that are
printed.
For example H has 7 dots in the first column,
two dots in position 4 for the next two, then 7
dots for the final column.
CONS
1) Prints only one character at a time
2) Very low resolution
3) Poor Printing speed.
PROS
The cheapest per page method for printing.
