Nazi propaganda promoted racist, anti-Semitic, and nationalist ideas through various mediums. Joseph Goebbels emphasized the importance of influencing public opinion through advanced technology like film, radio, and posters. Nazi propaganda depicted Jews as conspiratorial, inferior beings who threatened the purity of the Aryan race. It also aimed to indoctrinate German youth in racist ideology and their duty to serve the totalitarian state. Through simplification and repetition of slogans, Nazi propaganda persuaded many Germans to accept racist Nazi policies.

Role of CIA in Changing Strategic Operations of CIAmyeasyway
In American Renewal by, Steven Hook, “the first requirement of intelligence is timely delivery of relevant information to decision makers. To accomplish this mission decision makers must understand how intelligence works, take responsibility for investing in it, and share their strategies and tactics, specifies what they need and when. For its part to assist in going advantages over adversaries, intelligence has to focus on delivering enough information for the decision, not necessarily comprehensive knowledge”. The prime task assigned to CIA was to preserve the American interest and keep a sharp eye on its rivals. During cold war the greatest threat to American interest was from USSR and pro-communist states in the world. CIA carried out its clandestine services using different strategies. Assuming a power of influence in making policies according to its will, its role changed gradually from the traditional espionage activities. The conundrum of its covert operations at some time thought harmful for the state. Its transformation into a paramilitary force likely after 9/11 was also a matter of great concern. Using the advanced and bold technology CIA can operate in every state of the world. Everything beyond limitations is just devastating.
The unveiled stories about CIA during the cold war era and after 9/11 gave a clue about the influential role in shaping foreign policy. Mostly during the Democrats regime the influence of CIA and Pentagon have less influence in policy making than that of the republican regime. Along with traditional espionage CIA also operated covert actions from the beginning. From regime change to targeted manhunt and military operations CIA became quite controversial at every level. Some previous CIA officials say its function is to violate the laws of other states to gain intelligence. It shows that CIA has no moral grounds and gave no worth to any law. It even violates its own domestic law about torturing the suspected criminals. Its influence in domestic politics and FP in a democratic superpower is unjustified. The infiltration and intrusion within other states may escalate and prolong the crisis. The role of CIA in fighting war on terror and establishing peace at global level is considerable. The exploit of the policy makers by manipulating information also a concerning issue.
In Pakistan the infiltration of CIA operatives had been increased to a considerable level. It may also influence the domestic issues of Pakistan through different means. The infusion of these operatives should be refined and under the counter surveillance of Pakistani spy agency. CIA will remain quite active in Pakistan due to its geographic position and changing interest of great powers as Obama’s pivot to Asia policy. China’s surveillance also a factor for CIA to remain active in Pakistan as it may pose a threat to the American might in near future.
An initial look at what is new politically and journalistically about Wikileaks. Is it a new form of journalism? what impact will it have on democracy?
Visual Culture and the Holocaust: Nazi Anti-Semitic PropagandaJohn Corrigan
Social and political reasoning uses predetermined national security to defend its position against European Jewry. Historic animosity, paranoia, and social fatigue led to false defensive actions against the Jews. Wrongful blame, according to socialist doctrines, both accelerated and intensified after the out come and Germany’s Nationalist position after World War I.
The undercurrent attitudes, extended anti-Semitic ideologies dating back to Martin Luther’s protestant reformation, and the events and circumstances surrounding the French inquisition. The predominant historic attitudes of European citizens continually resented the Jewish communities wealth and supposed economic influences. European Jewry previously had been denied land ownership rights in Russia, France, Germany, and England. This political and economic restriction forced the International Jewish Diaspora to turn inward, relying on the extension of community and its cross-cultural connections incorporating academia, and the trade and distribution of marketable goods.
Jewish national identity has continually focused on their biblical Holy Land of the ‘Chosen People,’ Palestine, Israel and the city of Jerusalem. This affection continued to provide them with a strong emotional and national pride. A people without land to claim as their own, left Jews around the world to identify first with religious conviction, and secondly with their national/state of occupancies. This conviction, to the ideological state of Israel, considered by residential communities to represent a lack of National pride in the host country, such as Germany, Italy, Poland, Bohemia, the Ukraine, Russia, and the Balkan States. This apparent and deliberate lack of National pride provoked citizens and wrongfully encouraged ideologies of mistrust, questioned solidarity, paranoid rumors of espionage, and undercurrents of potential revolutionaries.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2. The Effective Propagandist
• "The effective propagandist must be a master of the
art of speech, of writing, or journalism, of the poster
and of the leaflet. He must have the gift to use the
major methods of influencing public opinion such as
the press, film and radio to serve his ideas and goals,
above all in an age of advancing technology. . . It
may be good to have power based on weapons. It is
better and longer lasting, however, to win and hold
the heart of a nation." -- Joseph Goebbels 1934
3. Racist Ideas
• The Nazi racist ideas
were clear as early as
1925 when Hitler
recorded his ravings in
Mein Kampf (My
Struggle).
4. Conspiratorial Jews
• In Mein Kampf, Hitler
maintained that the
Jews were
everywhere, controlled
everything, and acted
secretly behind the
scenes to harm the
people of Germany.
5. Jews Inferior to Christians
• He said that German
Jews were different
from and inferior to
German Christians and
referred to physical
differences between
the blond haired, blue-
eyed "Aryans" and the
dark-haired, swarthy
Jews.
6. Overrun by Inferior Peoples
• Other groups such as
the "Gypsies" and
Africans were also
inferior according to
Hitler. He played on
fears that Germans
would one day be
outnumbered by the
"inferior peoples."
7. The Eternal Jew
• The film The Eternal Jew was
created to justify the separation,
exclusion, and ultimately the
destruction, of the Jewish people.
The narrator describes the Jews of
Poland as filthy, sly and ugly and
juxtaposes images of Jews with
rats. The goal of propaganda is
ultimately action. What does one
do to rats? Exterminate them. This
was the unstated message of the
hate film.
Poster From the Nazi
Anti-Semitic Hate Film,
The Eternal Jew
8. • "Wherever rats turn up,
they spread annihilation
throughout the land,
destroying property and
food supplies. This is how
they disseminate disease.
Pestilence, leprosy, typhus,
cholera, dysentery. Just
like the Jews among
mankind, rats represent the
very essence of malicious
and subterranean
destruction.“ – From the script
of The Eternal Jew
9. Der Sturmer
• The most notorious of the Nazi
anti-Semitic newspapers was Der
Sturmer (The Attacker). It began
in 1923 as a political paper, but as
the Nazis gained in influence, the
paper became more and more anti-
Semitic. By the time Hitler took
power in 1933, the paper was
strongly anti-Semitic and was a
very popular Nazi publication.
Der Sturmer Ritual Murder
Issue, May 1, 1934
10. • It specialized in
selling the idea that
the Jews were the
worst enemy of the
Germans, with the
slogan "Die Juden sind
unser Ungluck" (the
Jews are our
misfortune). It was
advertised with
displays on the street
which attracted a lot of
attention.
Like other Nazi propaganda its style
was simple and repetitive.
11. • One of its most popular features
were the regular anti-Semitic
cartoons of Philip Rupprecht.
Jews were portrayed with huge
hooked noses, bulging eyes,
large ears, swollen lips,
unshaven beards, long hairy
arms and hands, and short
crooked legs. The dominant
characteristics were swindling
and sexual perversion.
As the Jews disappeared from
Germany, the circulation of the
paper dropped, but it continued to
publish until the end of the war.
12. Racial Superiority
• Nazi pseudo-science
proclaimed the "Aryan
race" to be the superior,
culture producing race.
Of the Aryans, the fair
Nordic type was
considered best.
German Propaganda Poster for
the Hitler Youth Organization
13. German Youth
• By 1939, about 90% of the "Aryan"
children in Germany belonged to
Nazi youth groups. A massive
propaganda campaign was aimed at
Germany's youth. The Nazis
indoctrinated boys and girls in their
duties to the state from a young age.
They saw education as critical to
the new Germany.
14. “All girls join us" "Youth serves the Fuhrer. All ten-year-
olds join the Hitler Youth."
15. • Hitler words about the young: "A violently
active, dominating, intrepid, brutal youth --
that is what I am after. Youth must be all
those things. It must be indifferent to pain.
There must be no weakness or tenderness in
it. I want to see once more in its eyes the
gleam of pride and independence of the
beast of prey... I intend to have an athletic
youth--that is the first and the chief thing... I
will have no intellectual training.
Knowledge is ruin to my young men."
16. • "National Socialist education is an education in
the thinking of the German people, in
understanding German traditions, in awakening
the pure, uncorrupted and honest people's
consciousness, their sense of belonging to the
people. Only a pure member of the German race
can have such an understanding of his people,
crowning it with the willingness to sacrifice all for
the people. . . .Race, military training, leadership,
religion! These are the four unshakable
foundations of the new German National Socialist
education!“
-- The Educational Principles of the New Germany, 1936
17. For young men, service to the totalitarian state meant fighting the Fuhrer's wars,
but for women service meant producing racially pure children for the Reich.
18. • From a 1942 biology textbook the Nazis wrote for 5th
grade girls: "Each life form strives to ensure the
survival of its species. . . The species goes before the
individual. History provides us with enough examples
to prove that mankind too is under this law. In the midst
of their prosperity, the Romans lost the desire to have
children….Their state was undermined and overcome
by foreign peoples in a short time….Our nation too
once hung in the balance. National Socialism restored
to the German people the will to have children, and
preserved our people from certain decline.”
19. • Here too we can recall the Führer's words in
Mein Kampf: “Marriage too cannot be an
end in itself, rather it must have the larger
goal of increasing and maintaining the
species and the race. That only is its
meaning and its task.…The goal of female
education must be to prepare them for
motherhood."
20. Creation of a Master Race
• As part of the Nazi plan
for the creation of a master
race, "superior" women
were paired with
"superior" men to produce
babies with "Aryan"
features. In this photo
women in this program
show off their babies at a
Lebensborn Center.
21. War Propaganda: Axis Sally
• Propaganda was a powerful weapon
when used to attack the morale of
the enemy through leaflets and radio
broadcasts. Axis Sally (Mildred
Gellars) was one such broadcaster.
She was an American who went to
Germany in 1934 and became a Nazi
broadcaster. Her broadcasts were
filled with anti-Semitic ravings. She
also sent messages from American
POWs to their families over the
airwaves mixed with Nazi
propaganda.
22. War Propaganda: Lord Haw Haw
• Lord Haw Haw (William
Joyce) lived in England
before the war and was
active in the British
fascist movement. He
sent broadcasts back to
England to damage
morale there. At the end
of the war the British
hanged him for treason.
23. • And since other countries were doing the
same thing, Germany warned its own
citizens how to deal with enemy propaganda:
"Warning! Enemy Propaganda! In modern
warfare, weapons, the economy, physical
resources and organization play a role. So
too do spirit and soul. A new and sinister
weapon is used against a nation's spiritual
strength: Propaganda!“ Listening to enemy
broadcasts was strictly forbidden.
24. Simplification and Repetition
• Hitler understood
propaganda well. He said
simplification and repetition
were the key to persuading
the masses. In German
propaganda you see complex
ideas turned into simple
easily remembered slogans
which were repeated again
and again until they entered
the unconscious of the
German people.
“One people, one government,
one leader!"
