This document outlines the requirements for a group project evaluating the information system of an organization. Students must choose an organization they are familiar with, visit its website, and evaluate the web-based information system. The report should include an introduction, summary of the organization, description of the information system, analysis of the system's objectives, users, benefits, weaknesses, infrastructure, user interface, how it supports business strategies, effectiveness, and recommendations for improvement. The report must follow specific formatting guidelines and include attachments of relevant web pages. The project aims to develop students' skills in evaluating information systems and communicating findings.

Choose one organization that you may be familiar with its’ operation. It can
be manufacturing, services or government organization such as Malaysia
Airline, Army, ASTRO TV, MAYBANK, University Malaya and etc. Visit
their place or web site. Do an evaluation of the web-based information
system of the organization.
The report should include the followings:
a) Introduction.
i) Course and section.
ii) Group number/ name.
iii) Group members name.
iv) The role of each member.
b) Name and summary of the organization.
(Examples: History, Location, Organizational chart, Organizational
structure, The current management, Business/ Operations)
c) Name of the information system.
d) Objective of the system.
e) Scope of the system.
f) The user of the system.
g) The benefits and strength of the system.
h) The weakness of the system.
i) The system flow.
j) The infrastructure (hardware/ software) of the system.
k) The user interface:
i) Objective and function.
ii) Appearance, Arrangement, Font, Color, Graphic, Animation.
iii) User friendliness.
iv) The information (the richness/ reaches).

2. v) Attached a copy of the web pages that needs improvement
(Example : pinpoint areas that needs improvement and state
the changes).
l) How the information systems support the business strategies?
m) Is the system effective in supporting the organization and why?
n) Recommendations to improve the information systems or the web
sites or web pages.
o) Attached a copy of the home page and main web pages of the
system.
p) The methodology of the study.
q) References, if any.
r) Other information that may seem relevant.
The report format :
a) Language: English
b) Font style: Times New Roman.
c) Font size : 12.
d) Spacing: 1.5 Lines
e) All headers/ titles should be bold.
f) Footer: Page number -- center.
g) Number of pages: No limit
