Mood Board- (5 colours)
1) Yellow Munsell- I will use this colour for the subheading (text). I will
also use this colour for the description on the ‘Front Cover’ of my
magazine.
2) Amaranth Red- This colour will be used for the background of
my 'Double Page Spread' of my magazine. This colour represents anger
so I could use this colour for the villains outfit.
3) Sky blue Crayola- I will also be using this colour for the background of
my 'Double Page Spread' of my product. I will use this colour for the
‘Front Cover’ background of my ‘Film Magazine’. This colour represents
inspiration and I want the audience to inspire the product that I have
been making.
4) May Green- I will ensure that I'll be using this colour for the 'Front
Cover' of my 'Film Magazine'. This colour will be used for the
background of my magazine. This colour has been used for many
existing products of there magazines (background)- Empire/Total Film.
5) Raisin Black – I will add this colour to my product, it will be used for the
description of my product. (Double Page Spread). I will be using this
colour because this colour represents my character’s appearance on the
‘Double Page Spread’ of my product.

1) Bold text- This font will be used for the header of my
product. I would like to use bold text because it makes
the header clear to see for the ‘Front Cover’ of my
product.
2) Fancy text- This font will be used for the double page
spread of my ‘Film Magazine’. I will use this font for the
description of my product because I have done some
primary research and I have looked at what type of fonts
they use in there film magazines. I think the fancy font
stands out which should interests the audience.
3) Size of text- I will use this size for the header and the
subheading of my ‘Film Magazine’. I would like to use
this size of the text because I think it would be clear to
see for the audience. I like this size of the text because it
makes it more appealing to read for the audience.
4) Colour text for the header- I will use this colour for the
header and subheading. I would like to use this primary
colour because I think it would appeal to my audiences
interest.
5) Colour text for the description- I will use this colour for
the description on the double page spread of my ‘Film
Magazine’. The yellow colour will make it interesting to
see within my product. The audience would be able to
see the yellow text, I will make the text a bit darker so
that the audience can see the text because the
background of my product will have a dark red/black
background. The yellow and black are contrasting
colours that will best fit my product.

1) Barcode: This is important because this is what they use when people want to
buy a product. I will be adding this to the ‘Front Cover’ of my product.
2) Image: I will be adding multiples images to the ‘Front Cover’, for the ‘Double
Page Spread’ I will be adding the main image and I will be talking about it, seeing
as it is the main topic of my ‘Film Magazine’.
3) Upcoming movies/series: I will be talking about upcoming
movies/series to be released. I would be adding this to the ‘Front Cover’ of my
‘Film Magazine’. I think this would interest the audience by how there would be so
much detail with the upcoming films to be released.
4) Winning product for the front cover of my magazine. I
think this would be suitable for the audience If I include winning products because
it would interest the audience to patriciate into something that they could win.
5) Logo for the front cover of my magazine. Why? Also,
consider copyright... I think this would be interesting if I include symbols
of superheroes on the front cover of my product. The audience would be interested
and they would know who the main character will be about for the ‘Double Page
Spread’ of my product.

• I have added colours, fonts and images for my mood board, including
specific images such as; a barcode, character designs and winning
products. The question is about repetition, be specific on what is seen
many times on magazine covers. (add a slide with lots of magazine
covers before this slide to help you make a collage to answer
this question) I will be using the colours which? in my mood board for the
front cover of my magazine and the double spreadsheet why?
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• My mood board will influence my final product with how the colours,
fonts and images will be used within it How?. There will be a lot of detail
of what?, ensuring that the colours which ones? will complement each
other how? Give specific examples which you will include in your final
magazine.

I will be creating a 'Film Magazine', I will be adding upcoming releases to keep the audience
interested in my product. I will add a lot of detail regarding the main topic of my magazine which is
a superhero magazine.

Double page Spread: I will ensure that I include a main image for my product and add a description
talking about that source. I will research what type of colour will go together.
Extended Double Page Spread: I have managed my time well so I have created another ‘Double
Page Spread’ for my product. I have added a main image, plus a description talking about the main
topic of my ‘Film Magazine’.

I will use Photoshop to create the ‘Front and Double Page Spread’ of my product.
I will be using Google to find images and fonts. I will be finding different types of fonts by using
‘Dafont’.
Audience My ‘Film Magazine’ would be suitable for: Children/teenagers/adults/families. I will achieve this by
adding colour to the ‘Front and ‘Double Page Spread’ of my product. I will add different types of
fonts to the masthead/description. My product will contain no violence/no swearing. My product
would be suitable for 12+, because my product is a ‘Superhero’, magazine.

• I might run out of time, there could be problems with
connections which makes me loose a various amount of
time.

  • 4. Mood Board- (5 colours) 1) Yellow Munsell- I will use this colour for the subheading (text). I will also use this colour for the description on the ‘Front Cover’ of my magazine. 2) Amaranth Red- This colour will be used for the background of my 'Double Page Spread' of my magazine. This colour represents anger so I could use this colour for the villains outfit. 3) Sky blue Crayola- I will also be using this colour for the background of my 'Double Page Spread' of my product. I will use this colour for the ‘Front Cover’ background of my ‘Film Magazine’. This colour represents inspiration and I want the audience to inspire the product that I have been making. 4) May Green- I will ensure that I'll be using this colour for the 'Front Cover' of my 'Film Magazine'. This colour will be used for the background of my magazine. This colour has been used for many existing products of there magazines (background)- Empire/Total Film. 5) Raisin Black – I will add this colour to my product, it will be used for the description of my product. I would like to use bold text because it makes the header clear to see for the ‘Front Cover’ of my product. 2) Fancy text- This font will be used for the double page spread of my ‘Film Magazine’. I will use this font for the description of my product because I have done some primary research and I have looked at what type of fonts they use in there film magazines. I think the fancy font stands out which should interests the audience. 3) Size of text- I will use this size for the header and the subheading of my ‘Film Magazine’. I would like to use this size of the text because I think it would be clear to see for the audience. I like this size of the text because it makes it more appealing to read for the audience. 4) Colour text for the header- I will use this colour for the header and subheading. I would like to use this primary colour because I think it would appeal to my audiences interest. 5) Colour text for the description- I will use this colour for the description on the double page spread of my ‘Film Magazine’. The yellow colour will make it interesting to see within my product. The audience would be able to see the yellow text, I will make the text a bit darker so that the audience can see the text because the background of my product will have a dark red/black background. The yellow and black are contrasting colours that will best fit my product.

I will be adding this to the ‘Front Cover’ of my product. 2) Image: I will be adding multiples images to the ‘Front Cover’, for the ‘Double Page Spread’ I will be adding the main image and I will be talking about it, seeing as it is the main topic of my ‘Film Magazine’. 3) Upcoming movies/series: I will be talking about upcoming movies/series to be released. I would be adding this to the ‘Front Cover’ of my ‘Film Magazine’. I think this would interest the audience by how there would be so much detail with the upcoming films to be released. 4) Winning product for the front cover of my magazine. I think this would be suitable for the audience If I include winning products because it would interest the audience to patriciate into something that they could win. 5) Logo for the front cover of my magazine. Why? Also, consider copyright... I think this would be interesting if I include symbols of superheroes on the front cover of my product. The audience would be interested and they would know who the main character will be about for the ‘Double Page Spread’ of my product.

Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood • I have added colours, fonts and images for my mood board, including specific images such as; a barcode, character designs and winning products. The question is about repetition, be specific on what is seen many times on magazine covers. (add a slide with lots of magazine covers before this slide to help you make a collage to answer this question) I will be using the colours which? in my mood board for the front cover of my magazine and the double spreadsheet why? How will your mood board influence your final product? • My mood board will influence my final product with how the colours, fonts and images will be used within it How?. There will be a lot of detail of what?, ensuring that the colours which ones? will complement each other how? Give specific examples which you will include in your final magazine.
  • 9. Informal Proposal Current Idea Concept I will be creating a 'Film Magazine', I will be adding upcoming releases to keep the audience interested in my product. I will add a lot of detail regarding the main topic of my magazine which is a superhero magazine. Type of products you would make Front Cover: I will be including upcoming releases, images, masthead and more… Double page Spread: I will ensure that I include a main image for my product and add a description talking about that source. I will research what type of colour will go together. Extended Double Page Spread: I have managed my time well so I have created another ‘Double Page Spread’ for my product. I have added a main image, plus a description talking about the main topic of my ‘Film Magazine’. What you will need to make them I will use Photoshop to create the ‘Front and Double Page Spread’ of my product. I will be using Google to find images and fonts. I will be finding different types of fonts by using ‘Dafont’. Audience My ‘Film Magazine’ would be suitable for: Children/teenagers/adults/families. I will achieve this by adding colour to the ‘Front and ‘Double Page Spread’ of my product. I will add different types of fonts to the masthead/description. My product will contain no violence/no swearing. My product would be suitable for 12+, because my product is a ‘Superhero’, magazine.

Choices Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this project Podcast. • Limited audience. • Time consuming. • Not easily searchable. • Accessibility problems (Internet). • Disliking the sound of my voice for the podcast. • Users not having the electronic device to play the podcast. • Static in the background. Poster. • Once the poster is made, it is difficult to make alterations and/or corrections to it. • Posters require reduced content, so the information in them will be limited. • I might run out of time, there could be problems with connections which makes me loose a various amount of time.
